The tacos were delicious just the right amount of juice, spices and cheese. The burrito had a special type of bean, not your typical pinto or black bean. I think it may have been the peruvian beans? Service was quick, we ate in the space and it had a cute ambiance. There are also small mexican pastry items. They had a churro that had a little bit of extra spice.

I apologize I tore it up with a quickness before I thought of photographing it...come in and try it. It's juicy so eat it first so it will still be crispy. Then I ordered the combo plate with carnitas...oh my, my tummy really enjoyed the whole plate. The carnitas were a little try...I needed some ajus...but once I made my burritos with the homemade flour tortilla, beans, rice, guacamole, jalapeños and salsa...I didn't even notice the dryness. The plate was a (huge plate) of food!!! Very enjoyable!!!! It's ALL a must try!!!! You will not be disappointed!!! I chased all my food with a Pepsi... The taqueria is adorable. And the staff made me feel right at home missing my Mama and Daddy, wonderful Mexican music in the back ground and the smell of food being prepared for us customers. Come on in and give Valencias some business your tummy will be so happy you did!!! So you here!!! As I walk out I may try their Pan Dulce. One for each (cheek) LOL They're bringing out fresh Pan Dulce...today. I have to get some!!!

My husband and I recently stopped by for dinner and unfortunately left disappointed. The first…read morething we noticed was how hot it was inside the restaurant, which made it uncomfortable to dine in, so we ended up taking our food to go. The prices felt high for the quality and portions received. I ordered a carne asada burrito (rice, beans, meat, Pico, cheese) for $14.50. While the burrito was large, it was mostly rice and beans, and the carne asada itself was disappointing. The texture was closer to ground beef than the grilled steak flavor and consistency I was expecting. My husband ordered the three street taco plate with rice and beans for $16.50, choosing carne asada, al pastor, and carnitas. He had similar thoughts about the carne asada, and felt that both the al pastor and carnitas lacked seasoning and overall flavor. He also purchased a canned soda for $2.50, which added to what already felt like a pricey meal. I understand that restaurant costs have increased over the years, and I don't mind paying more when the food quality matches the price. However, between the lack of air conditioning, the mid food, and the overall value, we didn't feel the experience justified the cost. The service was friendly, which we appreciated, but with so many other local Mexican restaurants offering more flavorful food at similar price points, we don't see ourselves returning.

There are plenty of delicious options to mix and match, so every visit feels like a mini salsa adventure before the main course. The service is just as impressive. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and more than happy to offer recommendations if you're having a hard time deciding. It's the kind of customer service that makes you feel like a regular, even on your first visit. The spot is clean and friendly! I ordered the carnitas platter, and it did not disappoint. The meat was tender, juicy, and incredibly fresh, making every bite better than the last. If you're looking for flavorful food, excellent service, and a place you'll want to come back to, this is it. I'll definitely be returning for another plate!

Most disappointing is that we ordered delivery, wrote asking for chips and salsas, and got no chips and salsa despite ordering multiple sides of guac and beans and typing it clearly in. My mom called and there were various excuses and they offered credit for the guac, but the truth is that's a big game changer if it's absent when you order Mexican food. We don't live here so a credit isn't super useful. I'd go for the chile relleno and burrito. The rest prob not.

As you enter the restaurant, it has the Mexican feel with dark wood accents tile floor, Mexican paintings, the staff had nice looking black uniforms with red ties looking very professional. We ate outside on the patio, which is beautiful and was much quieter. They started us off with chips, salsa, and a bean dip, which is fabulous. It was so good that was almost lunch itself. I ordered a Carnitas burrito. The flavor was good. I will say it had a different flavor than other Carnitas that I've had at different Mexican restaurants. I also had it wet so it was smothered with enchilada sauce. The enchilada sauce was also different as it was chunky. All very good. The burrito is quite large. I was able to take it home and got two more meals out of it. Brunch is still going on while we were there so my wife ended up getting the French toast which came with three huge slices and looked and taste delicious as well. Pricing was fair for the two of us two meals no cocktails was about $50. I'd be back again.
