Negative stars. "Branch Mgr" Janie Gomez is not proactive and no help. I ordered foreign currency for a trip to Europe 4 days prior and had an appointment to pick up the funds. It was not available. They blamed their phone system for not calling. She said cellphones weren't working. They think they're in the 1980s. No contingency plans? They blamed FedEx, but never checked on it personally never went the extra mile or even a normal mile -I put the order in four days prior. Worst. This is also the 2nd time I received bad service here. Additionally, some of the female staff can be heard - not knowing customers can hear- --saying don't come at 4:30pm on one occasion and another occasion saying don't come at 4:59. They might be joking but these are reasons I will close all our accounts. read more

Staff was amazing, the security guard was honest and helpful and greeted us with a smile, sadly only came here to get change for $5. Worse time to be doing last minute $5 knecklaces. Greatful they have a wide open parking space. read more

Someone created a savings and checking account in my name which is very concerning they were able to since it wasn't me. When I got the mail, I called, spoke to a lady on the phone who sent me over fraud information to fill out. I stopped by this Vallejo Location in person where the man created copies and supposedly faxed over to get the account closed. I got mail today about my account balances, and when I called asking about my account another lady on the phone said there is no notes about closing the account and there isn't any notes saying that it was a fraud account. I wouldn't actually go to this bank at all considering how easy it is to get your information stolen, and the inaccurate and miscommunication there is between their staff. I have Bank Of America and would never switch over. I've only had wonderful experiences. read more

I went to the U.S. bank branch for many times. She is the only person have the knowledge and patient to help me. After she had spent a lot of time for me on the " Venmo " application, we finanlly be able to move the money that my friend sent to me to my bank account. This branch sucks. Avoid this office if you can. Christina and Sandy especially. The branch manager is never in the office. Maybe having coffee and donuts instead of assisting customers. US Bank should close this office instead. The employees are useless. read more

Think twice before investing with US Bank, at least at this location. This review comment is specific to a Client Relationship Consultant named Myrna Acosta. I hope she doesn't represent the overall service quality of the employees from this location, 1200 Tennessee SY, Vallejo Branch. If she did, that would be a major disappointment and a catalyst for me to consider withdrawing my money and stopping banking with US Bank altogether. I made an appointment online for 10:30 AM on 6/17/24 for an in-person meeting/consultation. I also listed topics I wanted their help/advice on, such as maximizing potential returns on existing accounts, Elite Money Market, and CD/CD Laddering. While I had no prior experience with this Client Relationship Consultant, I did not hesitate to select her name. I assumed that everyone at the US Bank at this location would have the essential people soft skills you would expect in the banking industry. I was dead wrong with that assumption. I didn't mind being entertained 25 minutes past my appointment- it would have been insignificant if only I had gotten helpful advice, let alone good service. For example, she could neither explain nor show a helpful calc demonstration on CD laddering; nothing useful. It is like listening to a 3-year-old toddler on investing subjects, nothing close to a level you'd expect from someone in her position. The only helpful statement from her was- "I'm sorry I can't help you." She did not even attempt to seek help from within her organization to help me, even when I was seeking advice on the options within US Bank to maximize the potential return on my current accounts and on a substantial check of beneficiary inheritance money that I intended to deposit at that moment. She was not in the mood to work or help a customer. I was completely surprised by her incompetence and so disappointed that I went straight to Bank of America, who opened an Advantage savings account for me and explained some of the potential investment options available once the check cleared in 8 days. read more

I'm being VERY generous With giving three stars when I came in there were only two tellers at a window and the line was tremendously long so I left and came back,the second time I came in to the branch they only had one teller the only reason I am giving three stars is because of the security guard she is very sweet opens doors for the elderly and helps people out a lot she's probably the reason the branch hasn't went to shits because even other customers were complaining about how long they had been waiting but the security guard kept them calm and assured them they would be taken care of soon as possible l. Better off going to the American Canyon branch. Still no improvement w/this branch. When the manager isnt there the tellers dont even acknowledge their customers and wont even help until the line becomes long. I was sitting in line for 10 minutes without any acknowledgement and decided to finally help when there was 3 other people behind me. Also, i usually dont like to bust people out but Dina takes the longest to do transactions and for no apparent reason! She writes extra notes on the deposit slips causing your transaction to become 10-15 minutes when it could have taken less than 5 minutes long. Its aggravating because whenever the other tellers help me they have me in & out! read more

Do not do business with Jagjeet Singh. We opened 2 business accounts with him. He does not know what he is doing. Completely unprofessional. Asked us to wait while ate a sandwich in his car. Really??? I have to say the others that took over for him were attentive, professional and wonderful. Jagjeet then emailed us that we needed additional paperwork for our corporation or else account would close in 2 weeks. One week later, he prematurely closed the account. Again, really??! read more

Came in to open a personal checking account & was greeted cordially enough and was told that if I just have a seat, one of them would be with me shortly. 20 minuets go by and was told that if I could just wait a little longer one of the tellers would help me. The clerk who informed of this said that he could not help because he had to take his break, which he did. I was still sitting there when he returned. At this point I was just about ready to walk out when I was assured that it would only be a minute or two longer. Well, after 45 minuets (total) I finally had a teller willing to open an account up for me. As I have only just recently moved to the area & my I. D. has my old address & I wasn't able to produce a bill or anything else for that matter with my new address I was told they couldn't help me right then. I have been a part of this bank for close to 6 years now and I should note it has been the only bank I've ever been a part of. The employees here are great, always friendly and smiling; they create a very comforting atmosphere. But what really irritates me is the incredibly slow service I always experience when coming in here. Usually there are only two tellers open and I usually wait about 10 minutes in line before being seen by a teller. Since this is the only bank I have ever been a part of, I don't know if that is standard operation or this bank is just under staffed. It is really irritating when I just need to deposit my check up front, which takes less than a minute, but I have two people ahead of me who always have some huge complicated procedure. Bottom line, friendly and professional staff, but service is slow. read more

I was a little annoyed when I found out that you could not receive cash from Western Union without a USBank account but Arnel, a friendly banker, went out of his way to find a location that could. TAKE YOUR MONEY ANYWHERE BUT HERE! I have had my Health Saving account here for over 5 years (started as a free account now they charge $2.50 per month) Now you cant deposit money into your account in the branch or ATM! you must mail( yes slow ass us mail) you contrubution in or transfer it on line...Yes you cant service your account in the branch that openned your account!! How stupid can you be! Know one even knows about HSA in the branch...They offer a service that they cant service..HAHAHA what a joke US BANK has become... read more

'Used their ATM. There was a debit card in it from the previous customer. I went inside and handed it in. This machine is from the 20th century. Unlike normal ATM machines that return the card at the beginning of the transaction, it does not return the card until the end of the transaction. So I (too) forgot the card. Went back next day they would not return my card to me because it was "from another bank." I asked why there was not a sign on the machine to warn customers that it is not a normal ATM machine - after all that is why ATMs were changed many years ago - to return cards at the beginning so that people would not leave them behind. I got a blank stare. It costs $3- to get $50- from their ATM and $5- to get BofA to replace it. It took 30 minutes on the phone to process the replacement and it will take a week for the debit card to arrive. Any direct deposit and online automatic payments associated with my old card have to be updated. Thanks, U.S.Bank, it was an indelible experience. read more

First of let me say Bianca is amazing and I would leave five stars if based solely on her ability and customer service. The reason you get two (Bianca raised it one) is because of Dina. She is by the slowest, most inept, rude, snobby person I have ever encountered in one of your branches. During my hour long encounter this morning she tried turning me away three different times stating she couldn't help me despite having had my company call to verify the information she needed, she spoke down to me and and treated me as if I wasn't worthy or her service. Thankfully Bianca took over and with two phone calls and wonderful customer service she solved the problem and got me on my way. Let me clear: Dina REFUSED to do anything more than what was in front of her to help me. She refused to go an extra centimeter let alone the extra Bianca went to and had Bianca helped me from the beginning the whole encounter would have taken half the time it did. Please thank Bianca for me and please fire Dina. She is not doing your branch or any of your customers any good being there. read more
