The absolute best place to buy a dining table set! They have an expensive selection of tables and chairs to suit any budget, and great prices. I was helping my mom shop for a rectangular solid wood table with simple wooden chairs (no fabric seats), which was surprisingly hard to find in other furniture stores. Heather was quick to greet us and advise us on different options, but also gave us plenty of time and space to look around. Other stores were so pushy and focused on making a sale, but Heather felt like a friend who's goal was to share her knowledge about the different styles and materials to make sure you find your dream set. She helped us find a beautiful dining set that was the perfect color, material, style, and price! The delivery cost was one of the cheapest ($75) and they were the only store who had an option to take away your old table (for another $75 which is a steal considering other options would cost over $100 and would require coordinating with another company). Heather even asked us what type of flooring we had, so they could install the appropriate pads or feet on the table. We bought the table on Dec 20, and were about to get the table on Dec 27! Other stores wouldn't be able to deliver until January and it was the holidays. We were given a two-hour window for the delivery, and the delivery men arrived at the very beginning of the time window! Despite needing to take away our large expandable table with nine chairs through a narrow hallway before dropping off the new set, they were in and out in only about 30 mins. They also leveled the table and showed us how in case we moved the table and needed to level it again. Everyone we interacted with at California Dining and Bar Stools were phenomenal. I honestly couldn't have asked for better selection or customer service! We went to a lot of other furniture stores beforehand, and they were by far the best. Wow! What a great experience. "Sal" was very helpful and honest from start to finish. He asks good questions and offers great recommendations based on room size, use, etc. He carries a furniture brand and style that is hard to find, and his floor model (table and 4 chairs) was exactly what I had been looking for - even better, it was on sale and qualified for "no tax". The delivery cost was very reasonable, and the delivery team was fantastic - they were on time, kept me updated, and were very professional, friendly, and efficient. I love my counter stools from California Bar Stools. I made lots of mistakes before finding California bar stools. I purchase stools from Wayfair, Grandinroad and multi times from hayneedle. I sent all of them back. They were to soft and I would sink, to low, to narrow, to shallow and one set the bar for your feet was so high my knees were in my chest...weird. I got the most comfortable chairs, perfect height, perfect back and I selected the fabric. Meh. They do have a huge selection but the price is not great. The cheapest stool there is maybe $77 for simple stool with no back or cushion. Most of the stools are around the $130-$250 range. A guy overheard me commenting that we were priced out and remarked that stools are expensive. We told him we saw a similar stool to the $77 one at Bed Bath and Beyond for $44. He just sort of repeated that stools are expensive and we wandered off. As we were leaving, we realized that guy actually works there. We thought he was a fellow shopper. We have a table between regular and counter height (34") and needed some chairs for one side and stools for the other side. In addition, the stools needed to be able to push entirely under the overhang. We also have elderly and disabled family members and wanted to make sure they could get on and off any chairs we bought. I was hopeful this would ultimately be a good experience. Filippo is more than knowledgeable about tables and chairs. Ordered on Dec 6th after specifically deciding based on which stools would arrive before the Christmas holiday. Have had to call twice, after ZERO outreach from the company (first mistake) to find out the status of the chairs as it's been 2 weeks since order and they should have been delivered. Was told today they are "still sitting in the warehouse waiting for Freight to pick them up". Possible delivery AFTER the 27th due to the holiday! (Second mistake) Without as much as an I'm so sorry for the delay, this should not have happened... NOTHING! I asked why I was just finding out about this delay and she reply's.. "well I just found out" (3rd mistake). Well perhaps you should be reviewing your orders to know in advance when things won't arrive when promised so you can notify your customers and they may have time to make alternative arrangements (4th mistake). They will need to cancel my order or find me some 30" stools in the next 4 days! Overall not impressed by lack of communication and complete disregard of customer needs. Won't be back! Update: Received a call from Fillipo, who was my sales associate, he was notably upset by the "screw up", did offer to deliver some "loner" chairs for the Christmas holiday, which was a nice suggestion. He also offered to credit me $100 for the trouble, which is approximately a 10% discount. If you ever need any type of bar stool or any stool whatsoever, you'll most likely find it here. The boss and I needed a few bar stools for work and we were directed to check this place out. When we pull up, there were a ton of stools sitting right outside the store and we both thought, "Wow, this will be easy!" While we were browsing, Heather introduced herself and helped us make our selection. She said that many stools were customizable from the color of the wood to the color of the fabric/leather. Heather rang us up and since we were fairly local, she even offered free delivery, which was awesome, but we opted to pick it up as we needed it immediately. Fast forward a few days and I was going to pick it up. The pick up was very smooth, the gentleman who assisted me brought all the stools to the vehicle eventhough I offered to help. He even helped me secure it in the vehicle to make to prevent damage. Sorry I didn't catch his name but, I appreciated his service and help! We were shopping for a new kitchen table to seat about 6. After spending a lot of time online and going to a couple of cheaper warehouse stores a friend told us about this place. The owner took the time to show us a bunch of options within different price ranges. We found a beautiful table that fits perfectly in our kitchen nook that even has a leaf that can allow it to seat ~8 people. We lucked out and the owner pointed out a floor model with a tiny scratch on it that was discounted by $200. We were able to even purchase the matching chairs because of the money we saved. The own even offered us free home delivery the same evening. By 5:45pm we had our new furniture and we were able to eat dinner on our new table and chairs. Great selection and service! read more

I came in looking for quality counter stools at an affordable price, and that's exactly what I found! They have a pretty impressive selection of bar/counter stools and dinettes. I spoke with the owner, who was super friendly and extremely helpful. He assured me that they only sell quality pieces that will last. He helped me find stools that matched the style and price range I was looking for. The color of the wood and fabric are customizable on many of the stools. And all of the stools are ordered in the tallest bar height, which allows them to cut the stools down to whatever height you want. The store did not have all the stools I needed in stock, so they ordered them and they were ready to be picked up in about a week. I just picked them up last week, and they look great! Our stools were cut down to our desired height, and they applied felt pads to each of the legs. When I arrived, the stools were already waiting for me out in the front of the store, and a couple of the employees carefully loaded the stools into my car. If you're looking for kitchen stools or dinettes, this is definitely the place to come! Customer service is excellent, quality is great, and pricing is affordable for the quality you get. And it was very useful to be able to get up from an upscale set, move to something mid range or budget and actually see and feel the difference in what your getting for you money. Fred is a low pressure, informative salesman who was interested in seeing me get the set I wanted, not necessarily something he had. He listened and offered me information that helped me make a decision, so often you get non stop yak yak yak buy buy buy, and Fred's not that way at all. And he knows his stuff.
