Communication was initially responsive, but that changed once payment was requested. On March 6 at 12:27 p.m., I called during business hours and left a voicemail with no return call. At 4:54 p.m., just before closing, I received an email stating service would occur Monday and that payment was required, despite no response to my voicemail. I paid the invoice expecting to speak with someone before service. At 10:49 p.m., I received a payment confirmation with no contact. On March 7, I emailed twice to correct information. Both messages went unanswered. I also called during posted Saturday hours with no response. Every contact method listed on the company's website was used. On March 8, I sent a written instruction not to proceed with service until we had spoken. This also received no response. By this point, multiple attempts to reach Process2Serve had gone unacknowledged. On March 9, I sent a final cancellation notice documenting the pattern of unresponsiveness. Only then did Process2Serve reply, after all cancellation attempts had already been sent. The response blamed me for contacting during closed hours and stated they had been out of town. They acknowledged receiving my cancellation but still retained a $10 fee, despite no service being performed. Because communication had broken down entirely, I hired another process server, and the documents were served properly without issue. My review is based solely on the documented timeline. No service was performed, multiple attempts to correct information were ignored, and cancellation instructions were not acknowledged until after repeated follow-ups. Once he even told me he had to ask permission before emailing me anything. Does that even make sense? I NEVER DID GET ANY PROOF FROM THEM! NO RECEIPT, NO AGGREEMENT, NOTHING! Back to the strange lawyer. Jennifer Nagel was supposed to write a letter in my behalf discussing $65,000 owed me. She instructed me to email her the information I needed included in this letter & she would need about 2 hours to write a draft, which she'd send me for my revisions or approval. After hearing nothing from them for 2 weeks, I emailed & asked if anyone was going to bother returning my phone calls/emails. She actually sent me an email stating "I don't believe I've met you." & That was it! I emailed her back, covering every single correspondence we had, & also explained that I still haven't received a receipt for the $700 I paid her office, or the agreement, yet. She quickly responded after that, apologizing for the "mix up." When I asked again about a receipt & agreement, she seemed confused & told me she would have to check into that. I mentioned I didn't know the man's name who told me several times he would be sending me those things, but she was strange & only referred to him as "the person who answered my phone." I'm no lawyer, but I do know enough to question the professionalism of all of this. She said she printed out all of my documents I had sent her & she really wanted to devote her time reviewing everything & would send me the draft soon. I waited 2 MORE weeks. Emailed her AGAIN asking how long they were going to make me wait. She called me the next day (which is today, Oct 18.) She spent all of 2 minutes telling me that she feels sorry for me because of the predicament I was in, but since I didn't pay a retainer for her, she would be happy to refund me $500. I was shocked & couldn't even speak. She repeated herself. I finally said "You told me 4 weeks ago you could write a letter. I sent you everything you asked to, I waited 4 weeks, & now this?" She said she understood, but couldn't help me & would refund me. I asked her why she couldn't have told me this FOUR WEEKS AGO!? But she mumbled some other excuse & transferred me to no-name-man. I was still in shock & couldn't even speak when he got on the phone, quite chipper saying he was refunding my CC for $500. Like I had won a prize or something. I said ok, then paused & said "By the way, I never did get your name." TOTAL SILENCE! So I asked again, "Could you give me your name please?" Still nothing. I spoke louder & said "HELLO?" thinking we got cut off when he finally answers me & tells me (are you ready for this?) "I don't appreciate how rude you're being to me." If I wasn't already in shock from what was happening, this certainly put me over the edge. I said, "What? I just asked you what your name was. All this time, I never got your name." He became quite angry & told me again that I was being super rude & he didn't appreciate my behavior. ???ARE YOU SERIOUS??? I literally laughed out loud, thinking he must have a hearing problem, there's no way on God's green earth anyone would have thought I was being rude. I said "I'm sorry but I'm not being rude, I just asked for your name, that's all." He abruptly told me "Thank you for apologizing, but you're still being rude & I don't appreciate your behavior!" HE THEN HUNG UP ON ME. I'm stunned. Absolutely mind blown. What kind of people are they? THEY charged ME $700. THEY wasted over 4 WEEKS OF MY TIME. THEY seriously damaged MY case by ignoring ME all that time. THEY never sent ME any receipt or agreement. THEY only replied when I contacted them & asked them to. THEY literally dumped ME! Then NO-NAME MAN through a bloody tantrum like a little girl who got caught with her hand in a cookie jar, YET I'M THE ONE WHO'S SCOLDED FOR BEING RUDE? & BTW, they haven't refunded me a dime yet.
