Had a "fixit" ticket where the front tints would need to be removed. Removed the tint and went to this location to have the ticket signed off. The officer was pretty direct and serious and had that attitude of a "zero fcks given" person. Anyway he assisted us and went outside and looked at the car. The car was stock and is a 2013 VW Jetta so I'm assuming he didn't even bother to look around the car and point at things that need to be corrected. I think if your car is modded then you might have a problem of him citing you for it. Anyway we were there for less than a few minutes and were on our way to mail the ticket in the mail. Btw, as per what it stated in the letter of where the ticket came from, some stations may require a fee to get it signed off but this CHP station doesn't have any fees.

It was an honor to meet Officer Ortiz today.

My years of listening to the scanner has shown that they don't have anything to hide. Although, one Sargent is really rude to the other officers. I only know him as "Mairy" lol . He is very short to the dispatcher too. At 6:15 when the officers do roll call, he will interrupt and say yeah everyone is here. He's probably the rudest person in the department. He sounds like a thug. I feel for the other officers when he is on duty. There is also a new officer who is working very hard. He is busy and it's obviously is dedicated. Man he is nervous though. I bet the thug is why he makes mistakes. One officer used 506.275 to talk to another officer on 6/10/2020 and the dispatcher quickly shushed him. That's the last radio traffic I herd. Sad. I called the Industry station about alarm permits to find out how to file for an alarm permit in Hacienda Heights. Luckily, Industry station DOES NOT require an alarm permit for its areas of coverage, which includes HH! Cheers for saving $30 a year!!!!!! I still need to double check that I don't need an alarm permit since my alarm company said that I do in their initial e-mail to me. If that's the case, I'll update the review and let you guys know. The dispatch or station clerk who picked up was courteous. I thought they might be impatient as I was asking questions since today is July 4th, but the guy was very helpful. Not a bad experience at all.

After I explained that CHP had already directed me there, he told me they do not take reports for incidents on private property and said to go through insurance instead. He also stated, "We're not going to do insurance's job for them." Throughout the interaction, he was very dismissive and did not seem interested in listening to the situation or providing any guidance beyond telling me to contact insurance.
