This CHP location needs a 5 star shout out! I first found this office last summer when my boyfriend received a speeding ticket while driving my truck. When he received the speeding ticket, he was also given a ticket for a broken Speedometer. Don't asked how, because I am still unsure about how this even happened, but never-the-less, because the truck is registered to me, the Speedometer ticket was issued to me. Long story short, I was told I needed to have it signed off by any CHP office and then send the paperwork back via mail. I brought the truck to Fremont CHP (the office that issued the ticket) to get it signed off. I must have been met by the Junior Officer Recruit in training (training wheels still on!) because he came outside, asked me to put the truck in reverse, and roll it back. I did and the Speedometer didn't move. Of course not, dumb, dumb! You have to be moving forward! Never-the-less he wouldn't sign off because he said "he could tell it was still broke". I literally couldn't take anymore of the idiocracy so I left. I finally ended up taking it to a shop that fixes things like this and they gave me a paper stating that there was nothing wrong with the trucks' speedometer. Armed with this paper, I stopped into this CHP office hoping for resolve. The officer took my court paperwork, hopped in the Yukon (with my sweet Pit Bull in the backseat!), took it for a little drive around their parking lot, hopped out, signed my papers, chatted it up about my dog and I was out. Mission complete! All with a smiley, friendly officer!! Now fast forward to a chain of unfortunate events, and I have come back to this location to pick up three separate CHP reports. Each time I am met by that same officer and office staff and they are the best. They are fast and friendly. While I prefer not to be in the CHP office for any reason, at least if I have to, I know the BEST location to come to!

It was his alarm company letting him know his office/warehouse the alarm was triggered. Then it was Concord PD. We jumped in the truck and headed there ( 5 minutes from home ). When we arrived there were 6 officers. A truck was still running with out keys. Trailers with spools of copper wire had been gone threw and 2 inside doors and one of the large roll up doors had been pried open. They assumed that people could still be in the building hiding. We watched as they searched everything top to bottom. Then my husband walked through with them for the report. I stayed across the street. My husband enjoyed laughing with them ( considering the situation ) and I guess they joked about the stress relieving funny things in James office like his F U button and his screaming goat. They were even sticking around to wait for camera footage so they could further scope the area and find these idiots. I know sometimes cops get a bad rap. But I am here to tell you today they came through with flying colors. Thank you.

She told me that they don't normally do this anymore, because they're understaffed and been getting too much requests from people coming from the Concord Police Station for the same thing. I don't blame them for being a bit annoyed. I'm annoyed that they don't make it easier to correct the problem either. Even though they don't really do it anymore, she didn't want for me to have to drive all over town so she did it for me. If you are planning to have your parking ticket for not having your registration sticker on, please be advised they might not do it for you if you are from out-of-town. I just got lucky? Overall, I would say that the Pleasant Hill Police Station was very PLEASANT. I would come here before I go to the Concord Police Station.

Yelp removed my original review because it didn't contain enough details about my experience. The Yelp moderator team obviously didn't read that the review was a work in progress. But C'est la vie Below are the details of my experience! No one likes it when a cop pulls them over, but can you imagine a cop making a false accusation against you, when you merely went into the police station to ask a question on how their department handles hate, bullying, and cyberabuse?! I went to the pleasant hill police station to ask how cyberabuse and bullying is addressed, and wound up being falsely accused of an incident that never happened, the way Officer Downs described it. First, Officer Downs explained they don't do anything about cyberabuse or bullying, they can't, there's nothing they can do, EVEN if someone dies b/c of it, whether it's suicide or another way. :( And the police aren't even sorry or apologetic for the loss, according to Officer Downs. Officer Downs then asked if I remembered him pulling me over on a rainy afternoon and finding contraband in my car. He made that accusation twice & when I denied that the incident ever happened, because I've never done drugs or had an interest in even experimenting with drugs, Officer Downs asked 'Why he would say the incident happened if it didn't?' Of which I replied, I had no idea why when that incident never happened. The ONLY interaction I have ever had with the Pleasant Hill Police, besides that day was, one night when it was raining, I was in my car idling in the bollinger shopping center, a police officer pulled up behind me, left the headlights shining into my car, walked over & asked if I was ok, said he was concerned b/c there had been some things going on in the center, asked for my license & what I was doing, if I still lived in irvine, etc. I proceeded to let the officer know, I lived in the apartments behind the shopping center, not in irvine anymore. Officer Downs asked why I couldn't do what I was doing on my phone at my apartment and I told him, the apartments weren't safe nor private. Before he left, he told me to be careful. In the course of police station conversation with Officer Downs I mentioned being self employed at one pt in time, prior to the bay, but in pleasant hill I wasn't allowed. Officer Downs made the strange statement that if I applied now, my application would be accepted, he was sure of it ~ why would he know what biz apps the city of pleasant hill would accept, was he one of the reviewers?! There was never any search of my vehicle, no drugs were found in my car, couldn't I don't & have never done drugs, not even curious. I returned to the station, shortly after leaving b/c if officer Downs was being truthful, there would have been a police report, there wasn't one. I requested to speak to Officer Downs superior to make a formal complaint against him & his false accusation. Officer Downs superior at the time, told me 'You're right, no drugs were ever found in your car' & I'll ask officer Downs about his claim. The officer asked me about irvine & I said I loved irvine, he said 'we're a good bunch too, just give us a chance' ~ I'm not sure why that officer didn't think I'd give the police a chance, I had only lived in the bay for 14 months, why would there be any issues. Nobody wants to have issues with the police. It was a strange statement to make to someone he had just met. Anyhow, officer downs superior did ask, the reason for my visit and I explained what was going on in the sun valley apartments, the WiFi stealing, everyone knowing what I was doing on my phone or where I was going without me ever telling anyone, & the conversations between my neighbors about me & private matters never shared with anyone. The officer said for me to come back when I had more substantial evidence, as though hearing the the tenants in apt 58 & justin france in apt 60 talk about what i was doing in my apartment, where i was going, who i talked to & about, what i did on my phone, what i watched, the places i was going & more, wasn't enough. it was pretty damn obvious that these tenants were evil enough to know what i was doing 24/7 w/o actually living in my apartment. Yet, the officer i spoke with didnt think it was substantial enough to do anything. Its probably b/c he just didn't care. It was a violation of my tenants rights & rights to privacy ~ but even the property management didn't care ~ they must be connected to lafayette east apartments management, b/c they don't care about their tenants rights or rights to privacy, either, with all the illegal entries someone made with a copy of my apt key, and no approval from me to enter my apartment, w/o me being present ~ it's obvious that the only thing that matters to these apartments is profit, not people

I had very good experience with Albany Police Officers in two different occasions:…read more The first one happened more than a year ago when I was stopped due to a combination of left front light was out and over speeded (about 38 mph) right after exiting Buchanan. The officer requested me to reduce my speed when exiting. He gave me a second chance and only gave me a verbal warning. He, however, wrote me a $10.00 ticket and ordered me to fix the light. After fixing the light, I went to the police department for signature and the process was efficient and the assistant was courteous. The second incident happened last night and this morning. We were heading to the Real Madrid -Inter Milan game at Cal Stadium yesterday via bus 52L. We parked our car at a corner near Bus 52 station at San Pablo and Monroe. After the game and dinner, we came back around 9.00pm and had not found the car at the corner which I reported to be Dartmouth and San Pablo. We walked along Darthmouth twice without and with officer Jones. We could not find it. This morning I received a phone call from the Department and rushed to the found location at the corner of Stannage and Darthmouth. I have generally had good memory but I did not realize the full event yesterday might have caused this slide of memory. As I arrived, three officers (Kurland, Rude and Lemdi) were waiting for my arrival. They helped me to review the car's condition. Officer Rude handled the paper work efficiently and politely. Officer Kurdland was the one who found my car and I am thankful for his work. Thank you for your great work.
