So good. I selected 2 feather pillows and climbed in bed around midnight I think? The next thing I knew, it was 10am. I slept soundly. I would have slept all day if check out wasn't 11am! I didn't get up in time for breakfast. I am super happy with the staff here and the stay. 5 stars! Would definitely stay here again! I was also able to tip my housekeeper with a QR code. Kitchenette with all the essentials (pots, pans, dishes, measuring cups, coffe filters, etc.). Be aware that you will have to do the dishes as there are no dishwashers. Each room has a different lounging set-up. I prefer the recliners or sofa. The bathroom is really nice. New tile on the floor and shower. New vanities. New everything! Management is extremely helpful. You can reach them by text anytime. They respond to your needs quickly. And the rooms are cleaned once a week. There are only a few cons. The walls are VERY thin (at night I recommend turning the vent on the microwave on to drown out sound). The AC unit runs constantly in the spring/summer (this causes the pipes in the walls to pop at certain times which can be loud). And I think, stress think, these rooms used to be smoking before the renovation (bring some type of room freshener if this slight odor might bug you). I would definitely stay here again. It's a great value, great management and cute cozy rooms.

You can tell it is family owned and they take pride in it. From the fully stocked pool towels, the spotless rooms, the clean fresh scent everywhere, and the well maintained facilities and amenities - nothing here has been allowed to slide. Everything is open longer than other hotels, the service is fast and friendly, outside is well lit and spotless. Chain hotels around here charge more, and offer much less. I highly recommend!

The B&B consists of two suites. I'm in the Federal Suite which includes a bedroom/bath, parlour, dining room, and a kitchen. It's almost bigger than my apartment! In addition to all the comforts of home (plus a homemade breakfast made to order), the B&B comes with Jeanette, a self-described "Innkeeper/Grandma." Jeanette is an incredibly sweet woman who loves her B&B and makes her customers feel very much at home. She even called me after the first day of the bar exam to see how I was doing! This place is great! I don't know if I'll ever come back to Jeff City, but if I do, I'll stay here.

Our two bedroom unit was quite spacious, very clean, and cozy. It allows a maximum of 6 guests. My eldest daughter and I didn't need the extra space, but we appreciate having our own room which was nice. Living room has a pull down murphy bed if you prefer to sleep in an open space. Kitchen was fully equipped with the essential kitchenware and liquid detergents. Bathroom conveniently had complimentary shampoo, body wash, hand soap, and lotion. Washer and dryer plus laundry powder detergent were in the unit which is a big plus in my book. Fireplace was present, but wasn't used. Small patio with table and chairs for relaxing and viewing of the beautiful lake. This may be our one and only visit at this resort since we don't live nearby. We added this stay in MO as part of our Route 66 Centennial Celebration road trip in June 2026. I am grateful I got a chance to stay here. One more WM resort checked off my WM resort adventures list.
