The nail technicians are not very nice. The work they do is fine, however, on my last visit, the technician accepted a FaceTime call while doing my nails and then cut the top of my finger with the nail clippers because she wasn't watching what she was doing. I will not go back here. read more

Not happy with this nail salon. this is the third year I got a nail fungus and lost my toe nail. At the beginning things are good then you start seeing a black shadow/strip around your toe nail then you feel that the nail is becoming lose by that time you remove the nail polish abd discover the fungus infestatio (totally gross). My toe nail was so easy to remove because of the fungi infestation that ate the whole nail. I will NEVER go back to this place. This nail salon does not keep up with safety standard! Please learn from my three year experience and AVOID this place, not worth it some other rest of your summer with ugly toe nails when you want to wear sandals. read more

Standard manicure is without lotion or massage. Lotion is $6 extra and they don't even mention it up front. After the usual cutting, clipping, filing etc the tech began to add polish. I asked about the lotion or massage and they said oh that would have been six bucks extra and they had already started the polish. Too late. No mention of it anywhere on signs or verbally. One of the best things about a manicure is the application of oil or lotion especially when your nails and fingers are cracking and dry in winter. Went with my wife for a pedicure. I went to have minor callous on my heels scrubbed & I've heard of having ankles & calves massaged. It sounded like fun. I'm not an expert but the woman that did my pedicure took a total of 12 minutes. She was non- communicative, didn't say hello, goodbye, what's your name, where are you from. Decided to give this place another chance and it was even more disappointing than I remember. The salon is run down the employees are disengaged and spend more time on their phones than paying attention to customers. The massage chairs are broke down and barely work. The massage portion of the pedicure was shorter than normal. Then after picking something from their menu they handed me I was told it was the old the price had gone up and everything listed wasn't included. Well let me tell you something those things are included at other salons around town for your "old" prices and with a much nicer salon and experience. Nails La Belle in Pinebrook is a great place for a pedicure and nails The owners of this California Nails better get it together and at least appear to care or they won't be there much longer. I'm pretty picky myself but have been very pleased with the service, the cleanliness, and the compliance with COVID rules. I received one of the top 5 best pedicures I have ever had here at California Nails in September 2020! They just came under new ownership & boy have they turned this salon around! The massage was perfect pressure, the hot rocks & oils felt & smelt so good, and the over all experience was great! I use to avoid this place, but after hearing they were bought by my favorite salon Nails La Belle I decided to give them a second chance & Im so glad I did!! If I could give this place zero stars I would. Worst manicure I've never had. Make sure you do your own cuticles they don't touch them. Then she started polishing right over my old red polish and was getting sheer pink!!! ALL of my nails were cute crooked. There is cuticle everywhere! Being from out of town doesn't give a business the right to treat us bad because we won't be coming back, regardless of that, we do come to Park City twice a year and we have family members that live here. We won't be going there ever. The service is horrible, it seems like they're in a rush, rushing and being careless. Not only did they drop a glass that broke into pieces right into my water when doing my manicure. I get it accidents happen, but you also have to careful and please slow down..... When getting my eye brow wax..... again rushing, the girl dripped me with wax all over my arm. No apology No nothing from this girl and because she had a customer waiting for her doesn't give her the right to burn me. I can continue on and on.... but I'm not. Wait no I am going to mention one more thing, I've never in my life had a manicure with out getting a little bit of lotion at the end plus a maybe 15 second massage. They don't do none of that no clean up no lotion no fixing the little mistakes. As I got ready to pay the girl she expected a tip from me...... she literally asked me for one. REALLY?!?! Had a great experience here at the salon. Decided to get my nails done on vacation on a Sunday so options were limited. I got a gel manicure which was $34. Annie was awesome! I haven't gotten my nails done in a while and she was very meticulous cleaning up my cuticles. She is also a perfectionist and made sure everything was perfect. She was very easy going and easy to talk to. Thanks, Annie! This is just an update. It is now into the fourth week and my nails have still not chipped! I have NEVER had my gel nails last this long. Dirty tools. I watched them use the same clippers, emory board, cuticle clippers on three different people. Great way to spread foot fungus and disease. They only offered a $38.00 to kids, then provided them lousy service, such as leaving them with an infinished pedicure while they provided a different adult with a pedicure (using the same unclean tools). They got a $120.00 of my money. They will never get another $1.00 from me. The only way to get a business like this to change is to hit them in the wallet. read more

I am here right now and I'm not sure why I haven't gotten up and left by now. For starters, the polish selection is really bad and the polish is old. I was sent away to come back in half an hour for my pedi. Then I waited 20 minutes in the chair before my technician emerged from the back room. The staff are extremely rude and don't talk to customers, just to each other in Vietnamese. The technician who's doing my pedicure is hurting my feet and not listening to me. The chair I'm in is falling apart. He scraped three of my toes and put something on that stung. They keep trying to upsell me on the paraffin wax even though I've said no. The music is unbelievably awful. Bad 70s easy listening. This is the worst pedi experience I've ever had and its not even over yet. Yes, this is all a complete first world problem, but are they serious? Note to self... Never again! Solar Nails on the other hand is just on the other side of the shopping complex, and are amazingly friendly, efficient, and nice. Another great option is Nails La Belle in Jeremy Ranch which is spacious and more luxurious than any other nail salon in Utah that I've visited. They book up FAST on Saturdays though. read more
