I am a paralegal from a law firm in Albuquerque, NM and on December 6, 2025, this Firm sent Mr. Surya Von Rosen our pleadings along with a check for $105.00 to serve a person in Murietta. On January 26, 2025, we emailed him requesting status and received no response. On January 26, 2025, I called him and he answered his phone and said that he had an emergency with his child earlier in the day and would call me back as he stumbled for words. On January 31, 2025, I emailed Surya and still received no response. Our client was not happy about the slow process of her case due to this company. On February 14, 2025, I emailed Surya and told him his services were no longer needed. We never received a paid invoice or status whether the person was served. Contacted the server and emailed him my docs to be served and he emailed me back and then disappeared. I had tried called 3 times and then found a new person to serve the docs. To response: I called the number you called me on. I don't know your closed on Saturday. In additional, you said you could complete the service this weekend. I texted you to let you know I had sent them to the wrong email address. Nobody knows your closed or even that it's your personal number and nobody cares it's your personal number. We had a verbal conversation and agreement when we spoke on the phone. You committed something and then flaked. It's ok. However, due to your attitude and not wanting to take responsibility, such as, or emailing the link to make payment as discussed on the phone. Or to let me know you changed your mind on serving the docs this weekend. You should be glad I don't file a claim against you for breech of verbal contract. So don't push it. Was the least expensive quote for a small claims summons that was listed on Yelp. Unlike most the other process servers, California Serve requires pre-payment. The other companies require payment after service is completed. Was concerned with the uneven reviews for California Serve and decided to go with another company even though it was more expensive as I would only have to pay after I could confirm service. This place is a joke! I contacted Surya to inquire about his eviction services. Surya stated his company handled the entire eviction processs from start to finish. The communication in the beginning of the process, Surya was spot on with communicating, however, his communication stopped after I paid him. For an entire month, I followed up with Surya who failed to communicate what was going on. Needless to say, an entire month later, my tenants still have not been served with eviction papers due to Surya dropping the ball! Granted, Surya refunded my money at my request; without any explanation as to what happened. I called and spoke to Surya. Surya gave me a quote that was the best than others and with a couple more attempts to serve my defendant in a small claims matter. I was allowed to email my copy to Surya and after I made my payment, the routes started. I did give Surya special times that I wanted the service to find the defendant and Surya seem to understand but he does have other agents who work under him. After a while, I did not hear about my service or if it has been completed. I emailed Surya and he responded with attempts of the defendant not at the address provided. I explained to Surya that the deadline of time of service was near and he responded with urgency.
