Absolute Waste of My Time!! I cannot give you a review of any service they provide because we never even reached that point. I scheduled a consult only, which they checked with me twice to confirm the time... maybe they should've spent that time confirming with the Dr. I get there and the lobby is completely full, nowhere to sit, I'm handed a stack of forms to fill out (I'm only there for a consult, not committing to anything yet) asking for all personal & insurance info. After standing there for more than 25 minutes past my scheduled appointment I have to ask how much longer will it be, I'm told at least another 40 minutes which infuriated me! WASTE OF TIME!! Visually... this was the DMF of plastic surgery offices, cram as many people in as possible and take your sweet ass time getting to them. The lobby area & furniture was dated, the wallpaper was peeling & curling at the seams, etc... If they can't keep a presentable & clean lobby why would anyone ever trust them to do major surgery on them???? Never Again! read more

They took such great care of me, Dr. Smaili, Dr. Truong, Jason, Kim, Alix, Patty and Martha! I was so afraid but I'm glad I did it because they gave me an exceptionally positive experience! I feel like my body has been sculpted by a master artist...I feel like Venus de Milo if I may:-) I have total confidence in Dr. Smaili. I had TT, BAM and Brazilian Butt Lift. He asked me if I want him to add fat to my hips besides my butt, I'm so glad I said yes because it made my hips fuller, making my waist look smaller. I never thought I'd have an hour glass figure in this lifetime! He really knows what he's doing. No more "pancake butt" for me!! He gave me a very good price too. It's all about communicating so you can get a good deal. They have 4 facilities(I think) and that makes it convenient to schedule the surgery. I did my consult and preop at the Brea branch and had my surgery in Upland. Lots of parking and Denny's around the corner where my hubby ate breakfast while I was having my transformation. Made an appointment, had a consolation, discussed finances, scheduled my appointment for Nov 11, 2010. I love my results. I healed quickly and moved on with my life. The only reason I didn't give a 5-star is because they tried to sell me on scar cream, but before they made it seem like that was included in the price I paid. I had to wait to be seen more than 45 minutes. When Dr. Came in he asked what procedure I wanted, he looked at me, told me he can do that than said someone else would come and talk to me. He did not make me feel comfortable. He spent approximately 5 minutes with me. Never discussed procedure. The consultation room I was in had dirt on the walls. Personally, if the consult room was dirty I would hate to see the surgical room. Surgeries are performed on site. The lady I spoke to after discussed fees. After a lot of research and three consultations, I found Dr. Smaili and the California Surgical Institute. After an exam, Dr. Smaili thoroughly described each procedure verbally, with 3D animation and with before and after pictures. I chose Dr. Smaili because I felt his technique would give me the best results. Dr. Smaili performed several procedures at once and I could not be more pleased with my results, my breasts look natural and proportionate with my body, my tummy is flat, with beautiful definition and my belly button is perfect! I have scoliosis and as a result one breast appeared much smaller than the other and couldn't stand it. I decided to have breast augmentation but had met plastic surgeons that seemed kind of smarmy so I was a little reluctant to commit ro having the procedure done. Dr. Small, however, was all business. He was familiar with the issues with scoliosis and encouraged me to consider going a little larger than I had planned. Turns out that is a regret for most women who have had the surgery. He didn't pressure me to make that decision. I considered it and decided he was right. The staff is very friendly and the facility is very nice. My only disappointment is that I was not advised on how to spot capsular contraction. And, I don't think it was checked for well enough on follow-up visits. There is no way to know who will have that issue. But, it does seem if you catch it early enough you can prevent it from getting to the point where you have to have surgery. I am trying medication and massage, but it does look like I will have to have one implant replaced. Regardless, no one can see the issue as I have had many compliments. Even my GP thought Dr. Smaili does excellent work. It's always good when one doctor compliments another. read more

I have been trying to find my review that I posted a few days ago but I must have done something wrong because I can't find it. I am so pleased with Dr. Smaili and his team that I am going to try to post a comment again and see if it shows up. I'm not good with computers and such. I had a tummy tuck and face lift 3 weeks ago. I am so happy with the results. There is still a lot of swelling but I can't believe how much younger I look and my tummy is flat for the first time in probably 30 years. Dr. Smaili and his team are the best. I love Dr. Smaili he really listens to you and doesn't make you feel you are taking up his time. I visited other cosmetic surgery facilities before I chose Dr. Smaili and I did feel rush at one of the clinics. Dr. Smaili's entire staff are the best. Very friendly and professional. Dr. Smaili changed my life! I have never felt so amazing. I lost 65 pounds in 1 year and due to that I had lots of loose skin in the tummy are. My abdominal area was the hardest to lose. This April I had a tummy tuck and lipo in the back and flanks. When I went in for the first consultation I was absolutely impressed with the seriousness of the practice as a whole. He really enjoys what he does and therefore you can see it in the results. He was very honest about the what needs to be done in order to get the best body sculpting results. These reviews are on here for a reason! im sadden and regert that i went to Smaili even after reading and meeting him for the 1st time. i went in 11-6 for Lipo and fat transfer on th upper butt, i had perviosuly did it and wanted more projection. Paid $6,700.00 i went in 7am was out by 11everything seemed ok When i go home, i went to sleep, when i woke upi wnted to see how bad the swelling was. i looked and the 1st thing i noticed was my breast it was hanging ( i did my breast implants 11/23/2014) different DR. i took off the garment and sure enough my breast was deflated. i called the office and the girls there said they would call me back, the ladt that called me back was Maria very helpfull lady. she said to send her pics, after recieving them she said if i could go see one of the Dr.s they work with in there Riverside office since Samili went on vacation that same day 11-6-2015 i said that was fine. i show up 11-7-2015 to there riverside office to see Dr. Walter i believe (biggiest A***&!0 ever) they had me undress and before the Dr walked in my room the nurse asked me to sign a paper (hand written) saying that i was going to be seen by him but that i could not sue him or Smaili for malpractice. i told her i was not going to sign anything that i had just went through suergey and was still under antheshia she was very nice and said she would go speak to the Dr. she came back and said i had to sign it if i wanted to be seen, i told them i wasnt. the Dr came in the room started yelling saying i was not going to tell him how to do his job that if i wanted him to see me i had to sign, i told him to please step out that i didnt want to be seen by him,. after i left my husband sugguested i go to the ER just to make sure nothing else was punctured i spend the whole day at Kasier in Fontana luckliey nothing was wrong.later that day i called Maria and told her what happened she said she would have me see a different Dr if that was okay, i meet with Dr. Laila Elkeeb in Brea on 11-15-2015 very nice lady she than confirmed my breast was punctured and would have it fixed whrn Samili would return. Maria confrimed that by butt was a funny shape and gave me a free garment that they initally tried to sell me when i booked my surgery. she also said Samail would fix my butt and breast upon his return. Since my implants were under warranty they had me help with a warranty claim which they recieved 1200 to help with cost.On 11/24/2015 i went to Beverly Hills to meet with Smail. Smail seen me said that the implant was inflated but couldnt have been from the lipo because i would have been dead. than he looked at my butt and agreeded that my left buttscheek needed more fat, My butt looked better before i went to him, he offered to lipo my keens and inject the fat to my left butt cheek and also replace my implant. i agreed. as i was waiting for my blood work (same day ) to schedule my app for 12-5-2015 i told Maria that i didnt want to do the Lipo and wanted to see if he can dedcut some of the cost i had already paid, i told her to please talk to the Dr and tell him i was stuck with a 3000.00 ER visit bill maria said talk to Martha which was my consultant, i wrote her an email she said she would talk to the Dr and get back to me, she sis the following day and she said i dont know why you were under the impression the lipo was free the Dr is charging you for it and no discount on anything just the repalcement of your implant. so at the end of the day im stuck with a bill of 9,700.00 for a 1/2 ass shitty job. the day of my surgery 12-5-2015 i was told to be there at 11 i asked if i could go in at 12 and they said NOOOOOO i got there as told 11 and they had me wait in a room til 4pm to top it off they didnt give me my prescription til that day so i was sent home with no antibotics or pain medicicne. OHHH and my scar on my breast HORRIBLE!!! Please go elsewhere, you might save 200-300 in the beginning but i ended up paying 3000.00 more and having to go under a surgery i didnt intend to and have HORRIBLE treatment! read more

I was in the Upland Office the other day and decided I wanted one more procedure along with the others that I am going to have. I had called the Upland location and talked with Jenifer and she said she was going to be at the Brea office and I said that was closer to home anyway. Since I felt really comfortable with her, I decided to go to Brea. I want a neck lift added to my other procedures and went in to go over the numbers with her once again after Dr. Smaili consulted me on that surgery! All of the girls in the office are so friendly! They were really busy, but everyone said hi to me! If you are thinking about enhancing yourself, I say go for it! You only live once! And make sure you go check out California Surgical Institute! I'm so glad I did and I'm so excited about my procedures!! Will definitely yelp them when it's done!
