I'm not sure if he is just a really loud person but he yelled through out our entire conversation. He looked so happy, he lit up the room with his presence. He took a look at my arms and gave me a breakdown on the surgery procedure. I had my first lipo done here Sept 2023 my abs and side flanks with Dr Cohen. I was excited about having the procedure done, Im slender fit but had some small fat patches to take out. After the 1st procedure my abs turned out good the muscle definition came out, but my side flanks still had fat. So I said I wanted my side flanks redone, and met with Dr Robert to redo the flanks which was redone early July 2024. The 2nd time should have been done for FREE but OC Lipo said I had to pay for it because they said the flanks werent included in the 1st time which I showed on the write up it CLEARLY WAS. But I didnt want to argue so I went ahead with the 2nd procedure. After the 2nd time there is STILL fat in my side flanks. OC Lipo said they cannot do any more-Im male 5'10 152 lbs excellent health slender gym fit I do NOT have any flabby skin as they say! So sorry for the long overdue review, the holidays got the best of me! This by FAR was one of the best experiences I've ever had with any doctor and to have this be my first Smartlipo I was blown away with how the procedure went! The initial consultation with Dr. Cohen was very thorough, he listened to my concerns and gave me very realistic results without over promising anything but always striving for the best outcome. The front office staff was always very friendly and answered all my questions in detail & put the quote for procedures in writing. Yes, I booked the procedures right away! I was so excited when the day finally arrived, no nerves at all because I felt I was in great hands. Theresa, Dr. Cohen's assistant in procedures, explained all the medications I was taking that morning and Dr. Cohen came in again to go over what I was getting. Theresa by the way, was AMAZING the whole time! So friendly and caring and I couldn't be in better hands. Throughout the procedure I was awake but very sleepy/loopy.. almost like an awake sleep, hard to explain. I could hear them perfectly and respond with sleepy giggles because they are FUNNY when they're speaking to each other. The whole time they kept me engaged to make sure I was doing good and the only discomfort I felt was just from the initial shots to help numb me. I couldn't believe what a great experience I was having! After I was done, about 3.5 hours, Theresa helped dress me in the appropriate surgical garments and I made my first follow up appointment for the next week. I had two body areas fixed, my drooping jawline & neck as well as some bra back fat that had always bugged me. I could NOT believe how well my face looked after just one week! I was still swollen and had more healing to do but I could see how amazing the results would end up being. My back took a little longer for the swelling to decrease but now, almost a month later, I am SOOOOOO HAPPY with all the results! I am still wearing my garments as much and as long as possible but my face and neck look amazing now and my back so slim and fit! First of all, Orange County Liposuction is amazing!!! The staff is amazing and the entire office makes you feel welcome. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Mirzania. The man is like a creative genius. I initially came in for just lipo on my stomach. He suggested I get a full tummy tuck along with abdomen and side handle lipo. I agreed based on the several photos that I seen and the results. The day of the procedure I was nervous. The nurses Mercedes and can't remember other one were so nice and even gave me some warm blankets because I was cold. I had a great lipo360 experience. After a consultation with the most popular mainstream competitor, the choice was easy. Not only did OC Lipo have a better price, you actually meet with the doctor who will perform the procedure. He evaluates your body, your goals, makes thoughtful recommendations, and is honest about your expected results. The mainstream competitor had me meet with a finance specialist and only talked numbers and payment plans. No personal medical attention whatsoever. Not so with Dr. Cohen and OC lipo. Now onto my procedure... an unexpected breeze! Honestly no lie! I was comfortable the entire time! On the rare occasion where I felt a little twinge of pain, the Dr. Cohen promptly applied more numbing medication and the pain was no more. I had two "operating assistants" also in the room and they all worked hand in hand to ensure my comfort and kept the doctor apprised of the medical specifics throughout the procedure. I went in at 9am and walked out about 12:30pm under my own power (with hubby driving of course) in ZERO pain. My recovery has also been relatively easy and pain free. Please do your research and don't go here. I Wish I would've read the reviews regarding this "Rebecca" person. I had my appointment last December and I was not able to make it due to being covid positive 2 days before my surgery date. They told me I was going to have to pay 2k in fees for my missed appointment unless I reschedule and when I tried to reschedule they said I wasn't able to until I provided them with a covid negative test, fine. In January I was diagnosed with a severe illness and had to do a 6month treatment, I was not even able to attend work, I called them and told them I wanted to cancel my surgery as I was going through treatment and my physician did not approve any elective surgeries at this time. They said I had to contact "rebeca". I must've tried getting a hold of her like 10x, some how she was always on lunch or at a different one of their locations, until she left a message for me with one of their staff saying I was not eligible for a refund. I told her I wanted to know why and no one has been able to give me answers. So now they are keeping my 10k hostage. The contract that I signed says you are eligible for a refund if you cancel before 30 days but I didn't have an appointment to cancel so I legally am entitled to my money back, not to mention there are covid laws in place that protect you if you are covid positive and can't make it to your appointment. I have read similar reviews where this has happened to them. I was scared to take them to small court but I've seen others have done the same and have won so today I will be starting the process to take them to small court. I also want to add that on their own website they say not to worry if you have covid because you can reschedule without penalties. That is a lie and a lawsuit. I was hesitant to sign the paper work but the woman who's name I can't remember reassured me that it stated if you cancel 'before your scheduled surgery' but since I wasn't actually scheduling it my $500 could be refunded if I changed my mind. Well after much self improvement I've decided not to follow through and when I called I was told they never refund deposits unless you have a medical excuse written by your doctor. Dr Cohen charged me more than $12,000 to perform laser liposuction on my inner and outer thighs, upper and lower abdomen, and side flanks. For $12,000 you would think that the results would be beautiful... They are not. After Dr. Cohen performed the procedures I ended up with loose skin all over my stomach, which I have NEVER had in my entire life. My thighs now look like they are sunken in. They are completely disfigured now. I have scars all over my body where he inserted the liposuction tool. Rather than fix the problems Dr. Cohen avoids my calls like a coward and refers me to one of their other offices. Dr. Cohen should lose his medical license (if he even has one. There were some questions about the validity of his license. I went for a consultation with Dr Cohen to see about removing some fat from my love handles and bottom stomach. When the doctor saw me he commented that I really did not have a lot of fat to remove. He mentioned to me that he can remove the fat in the sides but on the bottom area of my stomach he would not be able to remove everything. He recommended a strict diet in order to remove the fat from all of the areas but left it up to me to decide if I wanted to go thru and still have him work on me knowing that it would not be perfect. I found OC liposuction online. I am plus size but have always had a double chin (even as a child). I wanted to treat myself and take advantage of Covid time off work and their Liposuction special and treat myself to chin lipo for my birthday. I did my consultation over zoom with doctor Cohen. He was incredibly friendly and honest. I had had other consultations with other surgeons who were not so kind due to my weight. The chin and neck area counted as 2 areas (which he told me during my consultation) and there was an up charge due to my BMI. Even with the up-charge, it was still a great deal. Everything was explained and made very clear. He told me that I might not get that chiseled Ariana Grande jaw line (my words, not his ) but that I would see significant improvement. I traveled from Northern California for the procedure and had to get bloodwork done at home. The day of the procedure I was terrified. As soon as I walked in, it was like I had the entire place to myself (they are taking Covid precautions very seriously and don't have more than one patient in the office at a time right now). I had a nurse (who's name I forgot...I'll blame the meds) who was so wonderful and reassuring. She said she would be with me the entire procedure just to ensure I was comfortable. Dr. Cohen was so funny and had a very warm and comforting presence, it made the fact that I wasn't allowed to have my own buddy with me in the office. (Again I was REALLY nervous). The office building is a little on the older side, however, everything was sanitary and very clean. Once the calming meds kicked in and got me a little more relaxed, the procedure started. Everything was done under local anesthetic so I was awake the entire time. Pain level was less that getting a cavity filled at the dentist office. My nurse best friend checked in on me frequently to make sure the temperature in the room was to my liking and that I was ok. I could hear her banter with one of the other nurses and it was a nice reminder that she was there the whole time. Dr. Cohen took his time ensuring everything was as perfect as possible. I could tell he was being meticulous in making sure everything was as even as possible, he even asked the nurse just for an extra pair of eyes. I appreciate that level of care and attention to detail. Luckily they called my ride when they were finishing up and once I was done, she was already waiting for me. They gave me detailed aftercare instructions, and I left that office looking like a super groggy mummy. My bruising was gone within a week and the pain was never unmanageable. I am now two months post op and have had two follow up zoom calls (since I live so far away). I am very happy with the results and with my experience. I am massaging the area every day, still looking super hot wearing my chin compression garment nightly, and staying hydrated to make sure I get the smoothest results possible. My overall experience thus far has been a positive one. The only thing I didn't like was when the Dr. tried to "upsell" me to get a mini-tummy tuck. No, sir, I didn't have babies. I don't have a bunch of loose skin. I just need some fat sucked out of my belly. The mini-tummy tuck would've been an additional $4,000. I opted out because I went with my gut feeling that I did NOT need it and like always, I was right. The procedure day went really well. Dr. Mirzania did what he does best and worked on my upper and lower abs. The RN, Mercedez, was very nice and checked on me often during the procedure to make sure I was okay. I think I dozed off most of the time. I woke up when I felt a poke in my upper ab area, but I'd calm myself down and then the suction was on to another area. When the procedure was done, they wrapped me up and the Dr. and staff said I did a great job. Week 1 post-procedure went great. I lost 2 inches in upper ab area and 4 inches in lower ab area. So, I did a bunch of research prior to choosing OC Lipo Centers and after careful review of many facilities and doctors, I knew that these were the people that I wanted my work done by. Dr. Cohen and his staff were absolutely amazing, from beginning to end and even afterwards, for the aftercare. Dr. Cohen was thorough in the consultation and gave me an honest opinion, which I appreciated immensely. He was extremely responsive to any texts that I sent him in regards to concerns I had after the surgery and I never had to worry that someone would not get back to me in a timely fashion. This is a late post. I went in for a consultation with Dr. Mirzania on 7/9/20 for my top and lower abdomen. The medical assistant was able to squeeze me for my procedure on 7/14/20 (I insisted to get it done in July). It was pushed back due to me not doing my blood work in time. Dr. Mirzania and his staff still accommodated to my request on wanting to get it done this month. It was scheduled for 7/27/20, 2 weeks later. I was then rescheduled to an earlier appointment, 7/21/20. I got there and was assisted by nurse Mercedes, she is the absolute best! She made me feel comfortable and she went over everything. I was told that the procedure would be 2 hours, 3 hours max. But Dr. Mirzania was quick and the procedure lasted only 1.5 hours. WIN! Mercedes was very sweet, she was constantly checking on me to make sure I was still good. She walked me through the whole procedure, informing me of what Dr. Mirzania was going to do next. The injections didn't hurt, it felt like little bee stings. When Dr. Mirzania was numbing my fat, the only discomfort I felt was when it was going near my ribs. Then he proceeded to melt my fat. I did felt pain a few times, but I quickly informed them, and he numbed that area some more. The laser part did not hurt at all. My results was immediate! I have never seen my stomach that flat for a very long time. I am a very happy patient. I highly recommend Dr. Mirzania and his team. It was painless and affordable. I was measured and told I am more than an inch shorter than I am. Weight was 10 pounds more than on home scale. I was shown I am obese. Since I work in a gym where body mass index is regularly measured I knew this was inaccurate. I was then shown photos of a woman with scars all over her stomach and told that's a success operation and she's not as big as me. After reading the fee is $899 I was quoted $7500 since I'm so fat. FYI my dress size is 4 or 6. I am three months pot oped of my smart lipo procedure and i have to say I'm am absolutely obsessed with my results from Dr.Cohen in Orange County. His staff was so friendly, patient, warm and professional. The office is incredibly clean and the staff was so knowledgeable when i asked questions.
