California Tint Crew was nothing short of amazing! I put in a request for estimates on Yelp and Bradley, one of the owners, reached out almost instantaneously to set up an appointment. At the appointment, Bradley was incredibly thoughtful - he listened closely to all the research I had done on products that met my requirements (maximizing privacy, enough light for plants, and heat rejection). He actually proposed a product that I was not aware of from Vista that met all our needs even better than any I had already found! Bradley measured up and sent out an estimate super quickly, and the price was great, especially for the premium Vista product. There was a slight hiccup when I discovered that the film he recommended might have a small amount of metal that might affect signal reception in the house (we live in an area with notoriously poor signal). Bradley instantly offered to do additional research with his distributor, and he got back to me the next day with additional information that put me at ease. Once we signed the proposal, we were scheduled for installation within a few days. The installation team couldn't have been nicer, more knowledgeable, neater, cleaner, or more efficient. The two of them took care of a large number of windows PLUS some extra windows with leftover film in less than 8 hours. Oh and they were great about making sure the front door was closed after they were told we have 3 cats - as a pet parent, this matters so much when you have work done in the house! We are thrilled with the result. No bubbles (even though we know they disappear as the film cures over multiple weeks) and we could feel the difference in heat transfer instantly. It's gonna be a much better summer because of the film. The privacy improvement is significant, and the plants are still getting plenty of light; having said that, I promised Bradley I'd come back to update this review with the results so that plant parents out there could feel comfortable about having options for film products. It's been over 6 months since I had home tinted. Well the tint did little in heat reduction only glare reduction was noticeable. Some windows the film separated. More dirt in the film became apparent. I think for the cost invested I rather keep the original. I felt automotive film had better heat reduction for some reason. read more

(You're welcome.) :) Yelp is a great way to determine who actually has customer service skills. After messaging several companies, California Tint Crew rose above and beyond as not only professional in communication, but also caring customers when considering affordability options. A representative was easy to schedule for a consultation: he was professional, flexible with my work hour needs, and informative. I was given the rundown on what was possible to tint, pricing, and different tinting levels. Sample tints were placed against our windows so we could make a more informed decision. Next up was the installation -- Irvin (the technician) was punctual and professional as well. He was respectful of our home and did an amazing job cleaning up. The other important factor: quality of the window tinting. I did extensive research on the infrared and UV differences between the four companies I was talking to. I was willing to pay more for better quality tinting. Other companies were trying to charge me $500 more for cheaper window tints. There was only one other company I found that charged me less than California Tint Crew, however, I would have been compromising too much on quality. If I'm going to fork over a chunk of money, it's going to be for a long-term investment. After several weeks, I'm thoroughly satisfied with our windows! It was 90 degrees yesterday, and I didn't turn on the AC until it was about 3:00pm. The tints speak for themselves! read more

We highly recommend California Tint Crew for residential window tinting installation! My husband and I are preparing the nursery for our first baby and noticed the windows in the front-facing rooms in our home bring in a lot of heat from the sun in the afternoons.
