I am very happy with my service from them. I ordered a 3 yd dumpster. It was delivered the day they said and picked up a few days later when it was full. Very easy to deal with.My only complaint was that the delivery window they gave me was 7am-4pm. I waited all day and they finally showed at 3:30pm. A 2 hr delivery window would be better, 9 hrs is excessive. I'd def use them again and have already recommended them to a friend! read more

Tried to rent a dumpster from CWS for a warehouse clean out. They made me pay before they would schedule, then once they had my payment said all they could offer was a 10-hour drop-off window that would require someone from our company coming in early and then staying late to cover the the drop-off window. They refused to shift it even to an 8-hour window to accommodate regular business hours. To add insult to injury they said it would take up to 7 days to reverse the charges they put on my credit card. (they charged my card within the first 5 minutes of our conversation -- why would it then take 7 days to cancel the charge?). Went with Transparency Dumpsters instead, family-owned business, much more customer-service oriented, delivered when I needed them to, and less expensive, too. read more

I'm doing a home improvement project and had a bunch of wood and hardened deck material to dispose of. After a local waste hauler wanted $300 per load to cart it away... I decided to take things into my own hands and haul the junk away myself. After arriving at CSW I had my truck weighed and paid the fee. I have a small pickup so even packed to the gills my weight came in under the 1 ton min charge. I was then directed to the transfer area which is an amazing sight- about the size of 2 foot fields with several designated areas for each type of trash. There where several pieces of big equipment buzzing around- i've never seen anything like it. After being directed to the correct area.. I then unloaded my trash into the appropriate pile and then drove off. Make sure to wear good footwear as the ground is muddy and strewn with trash (some of which is sharp). I found these guys excellent. I ordered the 3 - 1 yard dumpsters ( http://www.californiawasteservices.com/containers4.html ) and found them just perfect for my needs. I loaded each one to the top with nothing but dirt. That made them extremely heavy but the men knew just how to load them with ease. I appreciated that I could place the dumpsters off to the side of my cement drive while I was loading them with dirt. The company was very helpful and responsive to all my calls and questions. The only thing I will say is that the drivers really don't call ahead to let you know when they will arrive, so don't have a high expectation in this regard. Still, they are the only company I could find that would cart off dirt at a reasonable price. $185.25 for the 3 mini dumpsters (price includes everything). With the mini dumpsters, you don't have to worry about getting a license to part them since they can go pretty much anywhere as long as there is a flat service to roll them out to the street to be picked up.z I attached 3 photos if you want to see what a mini dumpster looks like and how easily they were rolled off my drive to their truck. read more

I tried to call them for a dumpster service. They were cordial and helpful on the phone at the first time , they gave me a quote on the phone and then I told them I need to talk to my wife for the pick up delivery. After Talking to my wife, I called them back and another lady change the price by raising it. I said okay it's okay it was not that much of a difference. The time of delivery I waited and waited it was between 8 to 10 am . After waiting for two hours I called them .they told me that delivery time was from 2 to 5 PM . When I told him it's not so they called me a liar , and she said if you want to cancel we cancel it right now . I said okay . That is my experience with this terrible company. read more

The absolute WORSE! Run away! I ordered 3 x 1yrd dumpsters. When they came to pick them up, one of the guy hit my car with the dumpster. There is a BIG dent in my car. I called the office right away and one of their employee, Mersedes, was very nice and asked me to email her some pictures of the damage so that she could inform her manager. So far so good. Except that 3 days later they are now denying it and refuse to give me their insurance details. So I am going to have to spend hundreds of dollars to get my car fixed! Thank you CWS! We are new to the area and our neighbor recommended CWS when we had to clean our our garage which the previous owners left full of junk. CWS is massive but thankfully every person that we've come into contact with (we've now been to the site three times) has been incredibly helpful as we dropped off concrete, bricks, wood, cardboard, etc. It's not cheap but it gets your driveway cleared of junk quickly and easily. My only issue - and this is not w/ CWS - is what people drop off - I saw so many items that could have been put on www.freecycle.org and given a second chance instead of having them end up in a landfill. read more

(A couple hours early, but out of 5 deliveries we have had in the past year, they were all a couple hours early or late. Jury is still out on why companies don't just provide a larger time window, but I digress...) Itemized bill, check. Painless pickup, check. VERDICT: Many big changes over the years. QUALIFIER: Mobility and customer drop-off circulation is still a little bit unorganized, but it's a bit better than having only one scale like before. The new scale addition to the back of the yard helps the flow of traffic, especially at the entrance. Parking along the entry-way makes the vehicle turn-around area tight. Alas, why can't they take credit cards!?! SERVICE: The guys on the yard are working their tails off. It seems chaotic at first glance, but the separation stations and storage stalls are well organized. The company seems to have invested much more into sorting equipment (and not as much man-power) creating a safer environment. I'm glad they now take green waste, and are really into reusing and refurbishing old materials (pallets, compost, etc). QUICK TIP: Check into FB or Yelp for a free can of soda! They don't even want to sell. read more

I only gave them a 4 because they were late on delivery twice in the same day and only called once to let me know so I wasted the entire morning waiting on delivery, Other than that, Mersedes at the office was very helpful and answered all my questions. Ramon, who delivered the 10 yard Low-Boy, was an excellent driver and dropped the Low-Boy exactly where I asked him to. Pick-up was a day late, but they let me know and that was not a big deal. Used for inert dumpster - great service - dropped and picked up on time - also used to drop off waste at their facility. Tricky process if you don't know your way around. Process as of 7/15/2016 (see map with directions i posted) pull in to the scales - there are 2 - one long the other short, stop on the scale and go into the office, door is at the building to the left, you will have to enter another door once inside also to the left. The person working will ask you what you have and direct you to the drop area, start your receipt, and take a deposit. Go to the area and empty your load then return to the scale face the opposite direction. Go back into the office and complete the transaction - get your receipt and go out the same way you came in. If you get confused or need direction, flag any of the guys working, they will help direct you. Bring cash - no credit cards read more
