*This is NO Resort* We planned to stay here a year due to working in the AV (home is in Alabama), we didn't make it 6 weeks. It was as if we were living back at home with strict parents; the unnecessary nit-picking, numerous calls to our place of employment to notify us that we were seen speeding through the park on numerous occasions (completely untrue), telling us that we need to make sure that we notify shippers of our site number because they don't want the drivers coming in and asking where sites are - which we did immediately upon moving in (I looked on the package as soon as I arrived home and it clearly had our site number on the package) - the management was borderline harassing us. I came through the gate one afternoon "slowly" making my way around the corner (the entrance is on somewhat of a hill, so you need to accelerate to move the truck up), the assistant manager coming down the opposite side of the road in her cart with her dog waving for me to slow down, I quickly (and in shock) looked at the speedometer which showed I was going 6 mph (an idle roll in a large diesel truck, a slow walking pace). Once we passed each other she did a quick u-turn and started following me to try and intimidate me, so I stopped - she drove up to my window to tell me that I was going 7 mph and speeding through the park and needed to slow it down. I didn't know how to respond to her it was so ridiculous and unnecessary. This is one of many times we were spoken to. I have seen the assistant manager several times going up and down each row looking/inspecting each and every site, front and back of each rig looking for something to call out. It wasn't until the calls started at my place of employment that we began looking for other options for the year that we found several nearby RV parks that were half the cost, twice the space size, clean grounds, offering much more with bike and walk paths, pools, and a much friendlier staff; just a happier place to be. We are good people, we drive safe, we respect others, we are quiet, we follow rules, work long hours all week and just want to come home and relax. It wasn't just us, several people in the 6 weeks we stayed voiced their frustration as well. We paid $1350/month for a very small site (all sites are on top of each other), you have freeway noise, and we had harassment from the management - this is no "Resort". Our reason for leaving was solely due to the unnecessary management nit-picking - the size of the sites, the closeness of the sites, the freeway noise we would have tolerated, and the admin girls that work in the office were pleasant and helpful. We only received a portion of our refund owed to us - so my suggestion is look around and do your research before committing. There are other parks nearby that offer more and half the cost, and you'll look forward to going home at the end of the day. read more

This place has a Nazi in a golf cart chasing you down for doing 6 mph. That same person will harass you tirelessly at your work with phone calls for the same thing in addition to other things like packages allegedly not being addressed correctly when they were. The first night we were there something was stolen from our truck. When walking around there was dog poop not picked up. The sites were so tiny you couldn't park a vehicle and comfortably set up a table and chairs outside. For 1300+ a month, I would expect more. How bout chasing thieves down in carts and leave the 6mph folks alone? Anyway, for half the price, go down the road a couple miles to thousand trails for a real camping experience. There is plenty of room to spread out and plenty of wilderness to enjoy. This place is nothing but an overpriced unruly glorified trailer park. read more

California Rv Resort Acton California I was going to write a good review but after talking to the manager things went south. I stayed at the resort for 2 months, December and January and before my second month started, I went to talk to the manager on the 27th in the am to explain that I may not stay for the entire 2nd month. So I ask her what would be best since I was not sure when my company was asking me to report to my new location, she was very helpful and said the best is to pay for a whole month through the 27th of January and any difference she said she would just prorate back to my credit card. Well to my SUPRISE when I called @ 9.55 am on the 24th she explained that I would only get back $50.00 after charging me $1175.00 for the 30 days. I'm sure she will say she explained that to me but she did not! Just for the math 30 days divided by $1175.00 is $39.16 per day. they owe me for a minimum of $39.16 per day for 4 days as she explained this = 156.64 NOT $50.00 They are trying to short me out of $106.64. Best RV park I've been in from East Coast to West Coast! It's clean, staff is very friendly, gated with security and the laundry rooms are clean with new washer and dryers. Safe location! I stream movies using the park Wi-Fi, but I have my own wireless connection as well. The park has done everything they can to provide Wi-Fi due to the area (rural area between mountains). My wife works from home and has NO issues using the park Wi-Fi. I would definitely recommend this park if you want the best RV park within a 75 mile radius. read more

I've been residing in the park going on 5 years. I've witnessed a huge positive change in the past year plus. The new owners have introduced a new staff and first of all Heather is amazing always willing to help. Kudos to Pam I believe she too has turned the corner as has adapted well to the new owners. I feel safe and I feel this team has migrated and adapted into a force of understanding for us minion. I AM going to step out of all the great changes and give a warning to anyone having their RV washed by Tony's mobile wash. I understand they are insured and that the park staff is watching after our expensive RV's but Tony himself washed my RV after having to reschedule my wash as he explained he had messed up another RV claimed he spent the afternoon repairing it which meant he called in a repair guy, so I wasted an afternoon of work at no pay. I stayed here once in 2015 and also over the past week, and I had a nice experience both times. The office said they were full but they did some shuffling to squeeze me in for a week, which I really appreciated. The park is pretty quiet compared with some others I've been in, and it's clean. Most spots have full hookups and the wireless was fine for me (I didn't attempt to use Netflix of YouTube or anything). The surrounding mountains and fresh air are lovely. read more

Took our MH here for our first trip as we needed to be close to home. All in all it was a good experience. Most people just minding their own business. The pull-throughs are pretty easy to maneuver but on the small side. I will say there are neighbors on the left side (100's) that are kind of weird and would just stand by their fence and stare at us. Will likely return but request another location. read more

This place is extremely clean and nice.. but be sure if you are unsure how long you're going to stay, book a month right away. 2 weeks we paid $740 or something along that amount and asked to extend for an extra two weeks and they charged us the same amount, but if you book a month right away you only pay around $1000... called in to ask for a military discount or good Sam and they said their weeks are already discounted. So instead of paying $1000, we are paying $1400 because we were unsure how long we would be here. Not willing to work with their guests.. only good thing they've done so far is not charge for the gate key unless you loose it. Before you had to pay for it upfront and they'd reimburse you once your stay is up. If it wasn't for all the lineman working in the area, I'm not sure they'd have as much business as they do. read more

Very tight packed spots, not recommend if you have children, neighbors are literally 5 feet from your door step. We're paying $$$$ for horrible WiFi, a horrible spot, neighbors that are always in your business, way to many RVs in this area. Sadly one of the worst RV parks we've been to. The air is clean and fresh. I can breath, for real I'm from Huntington Beach California. (The air is thick there this time of year) marine layer and smog I think. We checked in at around 8:30 PM, it's a bit late for these folks. Make sure you ask for a grass patch RV spot for your dogs. Don't forget your card and WiFi password. I could be watching something cool instead of writing this review. The security guy that checked us in, has the cutest little 3 lb Chihuahua, named Belle, she greeted me like she knew me such a cute dog. One of the worst experiences I've had at an RV park. The park itself looks fine, but the management is HORRIBLE. I received a call from the manager, where she proceeded to yell and scream at me because of a piece of homemade lawn furniture I had in my yard (which is allowed, as per the written rules). When I asked where in our signed paperwork/rules it says I cannot have it, she looked and could not find it. She then said, "well it's my park, I can do whatever I want." Her final reasoning was that we could not have it on her property since "it wasn't bought in a store." Completely silly. Beyond that, there are a couple of other red flags to be aware of. We had to pay $25 a week to reserve our spot BEFORE we moved in. This isn't credited to your account balance or anything like a security deposit, it's simply money to hold your spot that you'll never see again. That's a bit scammy. We were also told we had the ability to use a wired internet connection; we were even told providers to contact. This was all a lie. When we contacted said providers, they were not able to provide any service to this location. If you stay here, you'll be fighting with the terrible wifi (like most RV parks). If you're just staying here for a night or two and have nothing but a camper, you'll probably be fine. But if you ever have to deal with the dishonest, rude management, you'll regret your stay. read more

All the staff members are amazing at customer service, always are smiling and are creating such a great atmosphere. We came to this Resort for a family emergency. We arrived late, after dark. The gentleman who came down to help us get into our spot was so kind and helpful. We had an awful stay. They apparently let any breed of dog in, especially if they are friends with the manager. We walked out of our RV door and were nearly attacked by a pit bull mix. It was left unattended on a piece of string that reached to our side. We notified staff. The staff in the office said that they can't do anything but just talk to the owner. If you read the RV parks rules, it clearly states aggressive dogs are not permitted and owners will be asked to leave immediately. Nothing was done! Later that day we were about to get in the truck and the dog owner opened his window and threatened us that we better go back inside because his dog will attack us. He then followed us to our truck in the parking lot. Once again, we notified staff. Their lack of concern forced us to have to call the police. The manager of the park was apologetic during the day and offered us a refund, but quickly became quite the opposite in the evening. We spoke to her using the after hours number and she was at a loud location using very slurred words. She told us that we should leave the RV park because we are the ones with the problem. The dog owners left the next day and continued to harass us until they pulled away. Disgustingly enough, they parked their RV a few doors down (blocking half the exit) and got in their last drinks before actually departing. Upon our own departure, we contacted a higher up management company that runs the place. She had many excuses of why the manager behaved the way she did. We sent all the pictures and videos of the incident and never heard anything back. We have yet to receive a refund as promised. We urge you not to stay here. The park is 90% full timers. The manager has been there 13 years and is very complacent and picks which rules she wants to uphold. read more

We are parked at the Californian RV Resort while my husband works at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills. There aren't many RV parks/resorts in the LA metro area, especially those that can accommodate our 40.5' rig so we consider ourselves lucky to have found this lovely RV resort. The staff have all been helpful and courteous. The views at sunset are breath-taking. Yes, the sites might be close and tight for a large rig but not more so than in many other RV resorts and parks. Although we don't have young children, I can see that children might have a tough time finding places to play that don't infringe upon other RV's spaces, which is not permitted per park rules. The park's rules are fair and not unusual for a well kept, clean, and safe RV resort that accommodates daily, weekly, and monthly guests. These rules are evenly and respectfully enforced. The resort has excellent security with keycard access for guests, which is comforting. Unfortunately, like the rest of California, Acton is suffering from a long term and extreme drought and the resort's grass has suffered from it. The resort waters the greenery per the current limitations imposed by the state and, presumably, the county. The pool is clean and available during the warmer months. Recommendation: during warm/hot months, bring anti-ant products (eg, sprays, powders) as it is in the nature of the area to have copious numbers of ant colonies. 12/2016: The park has recently changed its daily/weekly sites to conserve in water consumption. Hopefully, the drought that plagues this area will soon abate. read more

I've been staying here long term. I'm very happy with this park. Park is well manicured and great staff.

I made a reservation for 3 rigs months ago for Friday. April 12, 2019. Once we arrived we did not have sites together. One of our rigs was in site #300, which was on the end with a nice little grassy area. Big enough for all six adults and 2 dogs to have a nice dinner location. One of our rigs was 2 streets away and the 3rd rig was 4 streets away from site #300. We were having a great evening, bbq dinner. As we were eating in our individual chairs (no tables) around 7:15pm, The sprinklers came on for the grassy area we were sitting at. We all got soaked, clothes, chairs, shoes etc. Our dinner was ruined, our evening was ruined. I personally went to the office knocked on the office door very loud. Someone finally came out, I explained what happened as I was dripping wet from the knees down. There only response was that it never happened before and it was on a timer. (What RV Park waters at 7:00pm)? I was so so angry. Never received any apology or discount. Horrible management. They didn't seem in any hurry to turn the sprinklers off. My friend also went to the office and they wouldn't come out until he banged on the door harder. Go anywhere but this RV park. See pictures alot of water for the grassy area. read more

Wifi is barely usable, cable tv does not work and the pool and hot tub are locked up. The place is well kept and facilities are clean.

Decent RV Park. Only stayed one night. It poured rain on us and was cold. The park seemed good enough. There seems to be a lot of full timers here which isn't a bad thing just an observation. read more

This is a really nice RV resort! We love it here! The sites are are level concrete pads (there are a few gravel ones). The amenities are nice. The laundry room has lots of washers and dryers, they have a small exercise room, and a nice pool area. The staff that works in the office are very friendly and helpful. The park is gated and they have security, so it feels like a very safe place! Nice location with easy access into LA but far enough away to have some peace and quiet. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here at any time! read more

Stayed here about 5 years ago (hopefully this info is still relevant) I remember the park being clean, well kept. The front office staff was friendly, I also liked that you had your own individual gate code entry to get thru the front. Parking was tight with a large Dodge Ram 2500 and a small Mazda 3 but we were able to rent a parking spot right next to our site (which I believe was another RV spot) for a small monthly price. I also remember liking the Wifi which you were given access too after you paid rent, it required a new code each month (smart!) would definitely stay here again. read more

This is the WORST RV resort we have ever stayed at. The entire staff with the exception of Denise are rude and have no customer service skills what so ever... The so called night watchman is a joke as well. More of a peeping Tom from what I saw. There is nothing about this place that would bring me back except for new management! This resort is very close to our home. My wife and I both have hectic work schedules. WE LOVE coming here because it is so quiet. It's nice to spend a few days just reading,watching movies and lying by the never crowded pool.I called around lunchtime inquiring as to when they closed for lunch as I was about half hour away. The nice lady said they would be closed for lunch when I got there but to knock on the door and she would check me in. The grounds,bathrooms and large gated pool, hot tub and patio are meticulous! They like to stagger the RV's so we are not on top of each other. The guests appear to appreciate the care management takes and clean up after themselves. Friends think we're nuts to camp so close to home, But we would travel 100 miles to stay at a resort of this caliber. Lucky we don't have too! read more

If you are more than 37 ft with your vehicle or longer get one of the larger spots. Some of the spots are very narrow and may be difficult to get onto. 10 out of 10 for me. read more

The place was alright when we first moved in. Then within a couple days we saw there true colors. Sandy was very rude and abrasive. The manager acted like she didn't care about what the staff did. The night security guard would fallow me and my girls around on his golf cart or his truck and make us feel really uncomfortable. They would yell at my kids when we were not around. And then when asked about it they would deny doing it. Me and my husband would sit out at night and have a beer and a smoke just the 2 of us, and they came buy right after 10 and told us we had to be in our camper after 10. We were not even talking we were just sitting out enjoying the nice night. Then when we were leaving because we were done with the staff. We tried to go in and talk to the manager about some of the staff and she said "it is what it is!" And we informed her that if we leave at least 8-10 others would be pulling out as well and she said "o'well". And they all did pull out with us! Worst place ever and we live on the road and have been to many places in the last 8 years. read more

What's not to like? This is a very well kept RV Resort, level sites, free WiFi, pool, exercise room, laundry and a great front office staff (where they will accept mai and packages for you - saves on a PO box) Free unmetered electric, which is very cool. The wifi allows you to steam from Amazon, YouTube , Netflix etc, etc. Not a big loud boisterous crowd. Everything in all inclusive. it gets very hot here during the nights and even during days - If I could give this place 6 stars, I would!!! read more

I thought this place was great! VERY clean, very quiet beautiful views from the top. I agree with a previous reviewer, a playground would be excellent but the staff makes this place as it is. There is not a lot of "yard" area in most spaces but there is nice grass. read more

They have a pet problem ! I've stayed here several times and never had an issue, I rescue small pets and since I acquired more than 3 & they have an issue with it. Well my pets I do not walk outside of my rv I put a pet gate up for them and clean up after them and take it down when I leave. I 'm sorry to say you've lost a good customer. read more

So far, so Great! I am full timing for my work and was relocated out here to Palmdale area. I was in search for monthly rates upon short notice and this spot was one of the available options that could accommodate me. I had the pleasure of meeting their main security guy and another resident as I strolled in late at about 11pm and they both helped me park my rig. :) I read reviews as I got settled in for the first few days. I immediately became discouraged upon some of the "racist & rude" complaints. But as I am coming up to my 3rd month here, the staff up front have been nothing but polite and helpful with any questions I had. I feel extremely safe here with my belongings as well, due to the constant security patrolling and gated access. At first I felt a little constricted with some of the rules regarding what is allowed to be placed outside the RV's, but as I looked around the park, I just copy cat a few things here and there and I am blending in just fine without breaking any rules. This place is very well kept and probably the cleanest spot I have ever parked! The only negative thing I can post about is the internet is extremely choppy or kicks you off. I logged in a few times my first week, but after I kept losing connection, I just hop on my hotspot from now on. I would say that if free internet is a Huge Must for your stay, you may want to call and inquire with the front desk about that. read more

I previously posted a review on another site giving this place a high rating. We were staying here long-term and didn't have any problems at the beginning. Later on we realized it if you get on their bad side they will do anything and everything to get you out of the park. You better be ready to kiss some butt when staying here. You have to sign a contract when staying here long term, which we have no problem with. Unfortunately the office doesn't hold everyone to the same rules. The park itself is nice enough but there are no areas for kids or dogs. Laundry room is decent when the machines are working. They do have an exercise room but it is small and they equipment is very out of date. It is next to someone's horse ranch so there is a smell of horses if that bothers you. My biggest warning of this park is the management. If you're only staying at night or two you're probably fine but if you're considering this place for long-term be careful. read more

I followed my Passport America app to find this place and arrived late at night, the security let me in. The first thing I've noticed the whole park smells like cow manure. In the morning, it was already hot, the flies didn't leave me alone. There was no shade. Then I saw I was charged the full amount for the one night. I went in the office and told her that I wanted the PA discount but she said it needs to be reserved 24hr advance. It's very strict. Even though I wouldn't even be there without PA, she didn't care. There was no shade, smells, flies are bothering you, and charges like a motel in the area. Won't ever return. read more

Stayed here 4 nights. Was a good experience. Staff is super friendly and helpful. We were pretty high up and was very windy. Recommend a lower site for large RVS. Only thing we didn't like there was not enough room for our one ton truck to park in our site with the trailer. I noticed some others with the same problem. However, being first-timers, it may have been we pulled in a little too far and didn't allow enough room. There were a lot of dogs, which was fine with us because we have two. Wifi wasn't the greatest, that's why I gave it 4 stars. read more

This place is immaculate! Pool and spa are sparkling clean. Fresh mountain air. Wifi strong enough to stream with very little buffering. They were closed when we arrived and after a phone call we only had to wait a couple minutes for someone to come check us in. We will be back! read more

This place does have a nice view. the pool area is cozy. pricing is only good with a discount club otherwise $50 is way to much for this place. spaces are on concrete which is a plus but there's not even a bush to look at on the small site. BEWARE u will be held hostage if u do not put a $50 deposit for a gate key. They do not have security to let u in and out after office hours so if your hungry or need to get to store forget it or even desire to have family come visit. they make you park on a steep hill for check in make sure someone stays with brake on pedal in addition to parking brake. we have new brakes and it still wanted to roll back. and all the hundreds of questions they ask you during reservation will be asked all over again and you have to write all over again which is annoying after traveling for several hours on the roads and you already provided the same info. I really have no desire to stay here again. read more

We had a delightful stay. The ladies at the front desk were pleasant and very accommodating. The park was clean and well groomed. They were fixing some cement pads and trimming trees while we were here, so they do take care of the place. We used the laundry facilities and everything was in very good condition. Easy access to either Antelope Valley or Santa Clarita, as the exit and off ramps are literally 50 yds away from the entrance to park. We will be back !! read more
