Had not stopped for about ten years but this time I again found the park a nice stop. Roadways are dirt, the pool is not heated, but the staff are very helpful and friendly. Most of the back in spots are 30 amp as they are part of the original park. They have added 7 new drive thru sites with 50 amp and water. No sewer hookup but there is a dump station. The restrooms and showers are old but spotlessly maintained and very clean! Lots of hot water for your shower. This park accepts Passport America so it makes a great discount on the already very fair rates. Easy access to either SR 58 or SR 14. The property looked in better shape than it did the last visit. Grass around a number of sites and the sites clean and level.

My camper doesn't have a shower so I use the facilities and they are always clean and orderly. They handled the pandemic so far very well and didn't even run out of TP! The spots are spacious and the tenants that are there for long periods of time are all very nice other then 1 or 2. I have 5 cameras on the trailer and I have never had crime issues or any issues with the management like one other guest did. Gets crowded on the weekends but never loud or disorderly. Barbra is very nice at the desk and always greets you with a smiling face. I will stay here again!

Barbara met us on the porch with a smile and gave us the low down on the place. Because this was our first time she offered to lead us to our "behind the gate" spots 6&7. (Take the lead in..... Its a good distance). As we went thru the gate we soon came to the dirt road and left the world behind. We entered into the gorgeous rolling hills of Tehachapi with Brite lake behind us and the backside of Tehachapi Mtn park in front of you. The road winds around a few bends and you then see the large bathroom / shower house and now see just how HUGE the sites are. We got to site 6 & 7 and were very happy. 6 was all dirt, level, and lake side. 7 has a huge concrete pad, small structure, level, and lake side. Our guide left and we set up. Bring an extension cord and extra water hose as the power and water hook ups are not ideally located but considering the remote nature of the spot its amazing to have the amenities at all. Great water pressure and no electricity issues at all. We loved the resort and were surprised when they delivered firewood for free ( free wood ) to our spot. They don't want bark beetles so they give you local wood to burn. Bathrooms were cleaned every day and well kept. Cold water in the showers but oh well. Dump station at the bathrooms for the rigs is nice. Just watch you angle as i had to go in against the arrows and point up hill to het the fun out. Love this place and will return!!!

We had originally booked the high tower spot for our large group, which was not ideal. It was right off the main road and not behind the gate like the rest of the campground. After expressing our need to change locations, we were accommodated and it was no problem. We booked spot 19 which was close to the bathrooms and beautiful! Several of our campers opted to RV camp and took other surrounding spots. We are avid tent campers. This campground was pristine! The bathrooms were so clean! Showers had great water pressure and hot water immediately. The best part, there was a golf cart checking in at each campground for extra firewood and ice. They'd deliver it to you and charge your card on file. You could also text the camp host for ice or firewood. The camp store was great. Had everything you could need! We can't wait to come back!!!

It is nice and clean and has full hook ups. There is no pool or anything recreational like that, though I do believe there is a game room and gym. Like I said we weren't there for that so I didn't check them out to even tell you what was in them or how they are. The restrooms were clean and have showers, we use the restroom and shower in our rig but did have to use the park restrooms a couple of times. It is a clean and quiet place where a lot of people are long term or residential guests. Please, if you are looking for a place to "rage", do not come here, it is not the place.

The washer/dryers are convenient and inexpensive (compared to every other laundromat I've used). The airport is behind the RV park and I was staying in the back row. Some days the airport was busier than others but it was never so noisy that it was distracting. There are a few great restaurants walking distance from the park. The park is very conveniently located to a lot of things and very easy interstate access. I have been away from Hollywood RV park for about a month now and I actually miss living there, but driving on the 405 every day for work became too much. If you are looking for a home to park your RV...Hollywood RV park is the place to go!

There are plenty of places nearby to dry camp & park overnight for free. But $42/night ($37 Passport America price in Oct) for full hookups, near our route, is worth it to us. The place is rustic & worn, especially the 'restroom' - single working shower & single toilet - bring your own TP & hand towel. There's a cell tower nearby so reception is good. Highway 58 is close but far enough the freeway noise isn't too bad; frequent train noise so keep your windows closed esp at night. Highway 395 is ~6mi east. Gravel sites are level & clean, we didn't bother leveling for one night. Not fancy for sure, no Wi-Fi or pool, but we'll stay here again if traveling this way. Love's Travel Stop gas/diesel is 1/2mi away.

But still feel like they have room for some customer service improvement. We arrived at 12:15... they close for 1hr for lunch at noon , and the door is not opened until 1:00. That was unexpected, but fine. Then they arrive and not over welcoming... no "welcome", "sorry for the wait", just an "how can I help you?" No longer do the offer orange picking sticks , and clearly state all rules in big bold letters. Just wish it was more like early visits we enjoyed at this park. Simply more welcoming . The groves are wonderful, the landscaping and plants are over the top beautiful. Sadly the vibe is not "welcome to our park"

Our site (65ft) was clean, spacious, well equipped, and provided us a great view of the orange grove nearby. Noise from hwy58 and occasional train was not an issue for us. The restroom-shower facilities were exceptionally clean and well kept! I had to compliment the caretaker gentleman directly for this. Our pet also enjoyed the pet area. Walking, biking path provided us great way to include a little exercise. This will definitely be our location stay for future visits with our son.
