I called Robert last week to give me a quote to hang a pre-hung door I purchased at Lowes. Robert came to my home and gave me a quote, I agreed on the price and we set the appointment for Friday 12-6-19 at 10 am. Robert arrived with his truck and trailer at 9:55 am. Robert explained the process from start to finish. Robert worked quickly and cleaned as he worked. While Robert was here I asked him if he could take a look at the bathroom sink, I put in a new faucet but it leaked! Robert said sure he would take a look at it when he was finished with the door. Robert finished the door and took a look at the bathroom faucet. It turns out I but the plastic washer upside down, and did not apply the plumbers putty correctly. Robert cleaned my mess up and fixed the leak. I paid Robert the agreed price for the door and asked him how much do I owe you for the faucet? Robert smiled and said don't worry its on him. We had a few things that needed some repair that I was not physically able to take care. I called Robert and he answered his phone quickly. He indicated he was working another job but could come by that afternoon and see what we needed done and give an estimate. He also stated that he would not be able to do the repairs until next week, which was fine. He showed up on time and we went over each item and he stated he could take care of it immediately which was great. I even asked him to replace a few smoke detectors. One of the ones I bought he found to be defective. He told me what to buy and stated to call and he would come back and install at no charge. Prices were fair and he was great. I cannot believe some of the bad reviews that I read on this site. This must not be the same Robert that helped me. I had Robert come out and mount my Samsung 55 inch curved tv on the living room wall. He did an excellent job!! He showed up on time and had all the necessary tools. At my request, he ran the wires/cords behind the wall. He had to cut through the drywall to do this. When he was all done, including patching and painting the drywall, you could not even tell that he had cut the drywall. It looked fantastic. He did an excellent job!! Every closet that I have utilized i have had to have the hardware reinforced. Yesterday I called Robert for closet repairs on very short notice at the end of his work day and he arrived to my house in less than 20 minutes and he fixed my closet in less than 30 minutes I am so pleased. He assured me if there were any problems that I could call him and he would remedy the situation. He guarantees his work, was very professional, and even pointed me in the right direction for services that he could not provide. I was able to put all my clothes among other things back on my closet fixture yesterday evening and i am glad to say so far so good. it is showing no signs of pulling. I highly recommend Robert. He is the best handyman that we have found. Many of them wouldn't return our phone phone calls and if they did they wouldn't show up fot their appointments. I found Robert on Yelp and contacted him through his Facebook page. He responded right away. He came for the estimate right on time and was able to do the work the very next day. He was able to do drywall repair perfectly, install a mantle and TV above the fireplace, and fix electrical switches. He even threw in some exterior drilling that we weren't able to do. He is also friendly and down to earth so that the interaction didn't feel awkward, which is important to me. The work I needed done was well priced as well. Robert was hired by our property management company to come take care of a few service requests. Being renters, we've seen quite a parade of handymen come and go and all I need to say is Robert is a keeper!!! I would hire him back in a heartbeat as long as I'm still living in his service area. Though I don't know first hand what he charges, it must be fair or my property manager wouldn't be hiring him. I called Robert this morning and he came out right away to connect my clothes dryer in my new home. My husband spent many hours and multiple trips to the home improvement store in an attempt to hook up the dryer. Robert knew right away that the valve should be replaced. He was fast, friendly and reliable. After Robert fixed the dryer, I found that the washer was not getting any water. Robert came back and assured that the water supply was functioning and gave me a referral to an appliance report company; they will be here this afternoon. As agreed Robert showed up on Monday and had the home improvement project done that day for a very reasonable price. He came back the next day and helped with a small electrical problem. Robert was great. He installed two Ring devices and set them up on my phone. He also changed 3 light fixtures in my oddly put together house. He problem solved all the issues with good humor. Very professional; did a wonderful job on replacing a section of our ceiling. not only was the repair thorough, we will not have to paint as he matched the texture to the paint. He re-caulked an area above the kitchen sink that looks great, and he replaced a sprung hinge on a cabinet door. We havd another appointment to replace a pet door.
