    Pipe Dreams Sewer & Drain

Tyler of Pipe Dreams Sewer & Drain is *fantastic*. I've lived in my townhouse condo for nearly 12…read moreyears, and the kitchen sink has never drained marvelously well. I had understood that it was due at least in part to a shallow grade of the outlet pipe...whatever. A couple of years ago, it had gradually become clogged enough that it was draining painfully slowly. I had RotoRooter out to clear it, and when the work was done, it was much better. It drained just fine, like before. Over two or three months this past fall, it gradually slowed down again, and I waited because I remembered how expensive it was the last time. Finally, there was no more waiting. It had become gross, it was so *disgustingly* slow, and I was even wondering whether it would require major work of some kind. I am so happy to have seen the glowing reviews here of Pipe Dreams. I called them & they were able to get me in in two days. Tyler was here for about an hour, and the tools he used were very different from the long, manual snake that RotoRooter had used. It/they were motorized things that had a reach far down the pipes. Tyler explained that he was staying mindful of the neighbors' pipes and not disturbing those. When he was done, he filled the sink with water & then released it. Since we bought this place all those years ago, I had NEVER seen it empty so fast, and I didn't even think it was possible. The water began to spin and make the most beautiful whirlpool and then was gone. The whole time he was here, Tyler could not have been more considerate, clear in his communication, and helpful. He also gave me tips on how to keep the drain clear. I kept meaning to write this review soon after he was here, but it's now been three months - oops! Here is the bright side to the delay: I can report that the sink has been draining wonderfully ever since, and it makes me soooo happy every time I use the sink. Call Pipe Dreams! You will be glad you did.

They were reliable, open and honest about the entire process even when the items on the blueprint didn't match the actual equipment that had been installed 20 years prior, along with outdated instalment features. They had to find a different pump, and electrical replacement solutions. They were great and did it with positive attitudes and friendly hardworking ethics. We enjoyed getting to know them and were very impressed with how much they care. They made the job change work with the price they had quoted us as well, which was very reasonable. Thank you both for being a great team. Louisa and Dean

We had work performed by Alliance Mechanical at G&G Market in September 2025, including a…read morecompressor replacement. At the time of the project, we were verbally given expectations regarding pricing, warranty coverage, and workmanship guarantees, including that compressors typically carry a 3-5 year warranty and that labor is generally covered for about one year. However, after the installation, we experienced issues with the compressor again within a short period of time. We reached out multiple times--both by phone and email--to request written warranty documentation and clarification on coverage. Unfortunately, despite follow-ups and prior discussions with their team, we did not receive a clear written response or resolution. Most recently, when the same compressor issue occurred again in April 2026, we contacted the company for service support and warranty assistance, but were told they would not be able to work with us. Given the short time since installation and the lack of follow-up regarding warranty documentation and service support, we are disappointed with how this situation has been handled. We expected better communication and acc

I have a signed maintenance contract with these clowns and not one time in any estimate did they follow it. They still tried overcharging me for absolutely everything. Here is the last email i sent to one of the managers. \ THIS COMPANY WILL RIP YOU OFF. No way to verify the part with the part number I sent you? Ok, ***** I have had an absolutely horrible experience when dealing with your company. I was surprised to hear that Alliance has a heater that would temp work for our building yet no one said anything until yesterday and the people in my building have been cold for weeks. The heater is still not here and it's supposed to be -9 every night between now and next week. If my building ensures any damages as a result of the alliance's late pm inspection (clearly stated on the signed contract) I will be reaching back out to your company. The late inspection has had a direct impact on the timeline for us identifying issues as well as being able to get the parts that we need to fix our heating problem and now we are so far behind in being able to get the parts we need. I have spent most of my day trying to find a portable heater without any luck. The estimate that I received from you for the RTU has zero transpearcey, just a $25,000 bottom line. How much is the crane rental, how much is the RTU? Is our discount included? How many many hours is your estimate based on and what is the labor rate we are being charged? Is our discount included? All I get for $25,000 is a bland estimate. This was the same with all the other estimates I received from your company even after I asked for the information above, I still got back the basic zero transparency. The trusted vendor your estimators use seems to have the market highest prices available for your markup. Any property manager that does not check the prices on estimates to make sure they are getting a fair price on parts I feel is not doing his or her job. Every major part pricing i received from alliance was almost 2x what i could find the parts for when i researched it out. The hours on the estimates that I have received from alliance have been heavily padded as well. It does not take 26 man hours to change a hot water tank with screw on fittings. The estimate that I received for changing the heat exchanger said that it was for 8 men. Were 8 techs going to show up to work on that heat exchanger? You could not even fit 8 men around the unit at same time for work on it, heavily padded. All of these issues make me  feel as though the alliance just wanted an open door in order to get to our checking account. I will not be using Alliance's service now or in the future. I need a company that is more transparent and fair with their estimating and willing to help out when the business hits the fan which is not what I feel when doing business with Alliance. Fully disappointed
