My first visit was in August with my husband. We chose Dr Reeves based on recommendations in the community. The facility is very clean on arrival. Our visit was for skin cancer screening and a consult to discuss the mole over my eye. Dr Reeves and her team of ladies explained my options clearly, scheduled my return visit to have my mole removed and the procedure went very well. I chose Calladerm Dermatology because of my first glance at their website. I found it to be beautiful, calming and I knew that was where I wanted to go. Upon arriving at the office, I was greeted and treated like they knew me. I was seen by Millie Henderson and her examination was full and complete and I felt quite confident in her diagnosis. I met Dr. Reaves at my scheduled MOHS surgery. She made me feel very comfortable and explained everything fully. The nursing staff is efficient, helpful and friendly. Extremely unprofessional office Who will gauge you for every cent they possibly can. I remember when this practice opened up while essentially begging for patients to see this new dermatologist ( who has the personality of a stick ) She was not interested in looking at a growth that was in a particularly private place, instead she wanted to pawn this off onto her NP so the office could charge me another $150.00 for a separate visit. On the day of this additional visit, the check in person asked me for the money upfront and I panicked. I realized I could go to any other Dermatopathology office in Kingsport and pay so much less, so I asked her to cancel the appointment and I left. The office was nice enough to send me a 50.00 no show bill. Calladerm will try to squeeze juice out of a turnip. Can you imagine what they are able to squeeze from some of our elderly population. The last part of this silly review surrounds the office manager. A sorry excuse for a company representative. If I've ever experienced speaking with a robot, this would be the moment. Zero feelings or empathy. No discussion. A flat " this is our policy for same day cancellations." She was right. It was. I will stick with the local Dermatology practices who put a little more value into their patients. read more

Had an appointment here for my daughter while she was in town from college. Realized at last minute that I had my times wrong and we were going to be a few minutes late. So I called and was told the appointment had been cancelled and that I should have received a call. I confirmed they had the correct number. When I questioned them about this she got rude. I was told system works well for other people. In the past when seeing Dr Reaves I have been happy. But her staff leaves much to be desired in professionalism. If in need of dermatology care I would highly recommend going to other more established groups. At the end of the day, a doctor is only as good as their staff. While I like her, I will not go back. read more
