Local neighborhood pub vibe. Small space, but has pool table, electronic dart board and a proper bristle board (darts provided are basic. best to bring your own). Good selection of beers on tap, bottled beers and spirits. Don't expect table service, just belly up to the bar to order from the friendly bar keep. Plenty of TVs for sports viewing. Playlist on a Thursday late afternoon was 70's-80's. No food, but you can bring in. They do have snacks. Old school fun. read more

Great spot to just chill, watch sports, play darts and drink beer. Always reliable. Virtually the only proper pub in Edmond. They have TouchTunes. This one is slightly larger than the one downtown but is very reminiscent of the original. We shall be back. read more

My husband and I went yesterday and we were very disappointed. There were 3 customers inside so the place was not busy at all. The bartender was rude and he never asked if we wanted another beer when ours was empty (which we already decided we didn't with his rudeness) My husband had to call him to get us our ticket and there wasn't hardly anyone in there. Just about my favorite place. It's getting where so many places in town have sour tap lines, and mediocre beer selections. The beer is always great here! Great selection and knowledgeable staff. They're always able to make recommendations. The food menu is limited, but good. The only thing that keeps it from being a 5 star is the beer prices. This place is cool. I'm not gonna lie. But. There is a group of "regulars" that go there when the Englander is working and causes a ruckus. I've been coming to this bar for years. First time back in 6 months, and I had the worst experience with the lady bartender with an accent (maybe Australian?). She was rude, had been drinking on the job, and threatened to fight my girlfriend. When we left, she actually followed us into the parking lot looking for a fight. Great bar. Pros: Small, relaxed environment most nights. Great staff, I've shared several shots with the owner and he regularly shows up to see how things are going and help out. Play the dice game. It feels like a bit of a staple here. I think I spent nearly $120 on shots after losing several times in a big party once. The owner is a fan and will often join in when he sees people playing. Regular live music. Cons: It's a bit small, so when it is packed it can be rough getting drinks and moving around.. Avoid the curry. This was actually the first food I tried there and it did not sit well with me at all, and I eat much more spicy food regularly. The rest of the food is decent for a bar. read more

Skinny Slims is a great neighborhood bar for Edmond. The name fits the location too because I can't see there being more than about 20 people in there comfortably. They have a nice selection of beers, particularly seasonals. I can't speak to their food, but their dart board is pretty legit. There is also a nice patio and plenty of TVs to show all of the sports. I'm not typically in this area, but can see myself being a regular if I were nearby more often! read more

This is truly my favourite place in Edmond. Fantastic beer selection, great pub food and awesome Barmen. Could not get any service at this place. It's small enough I know the staff noticed us at the bar but we could not get anyone to take our order. It might be ok if you get there early and claim your territory but it was a very uncomfortable, small place with no where to sit. We left without even getting a drink. Went a few times when it was fairly new and really enjoyed myself. Great service, food, and beer selection. Went a couple more times recently and had a different experience. It seemed the staff gave a lot of attention to a group of regulars with conversation, attentiveness, and service, but barely paid attention to us when were right at the bar next to them. I understand taking care of your most loyal patrons, but having to flag the bar tender down just to get a refill or our bill when he's giving free shots, taking orders, and carrying on with the group next to us was a little off putting. I don't need to be part of the club, just a new beer. Almost the exact same scenario played out the second time. It's a locally owned business that I want to do well, but everyone walking in should always feel welcome. read more

This is a great little bar in Edmond.. And I LOVE their live music. I've heard they have an open mic night, which is also refreshing being an artist myself (I don't think there are any other open mic nights around here). It brings in a good crowd, and the guy that sang when we were there was really interactive. Although the bar is small, it makes it more of a homey feel. It's one of those bars where you feel like you could be a "regular" at. I haven't tried to food yet, but overall, I will be coming here more. So I will update on the food once it's tasted! read more

It's about time that Edmond got a decent bar. It's in a good location, clean, friendly staff, and most importantly a nice drink selection. I've really only got a few complaints; the first is that there are no prices posted anywhere and asking makes you look like a cheap bastard. The second complaint is that they play music from the overhead PA system and it sounds like shit (I guess I'm not the only cheap ass in this place). My last complaint is the bathroom situation, it's a maze of doors and hallways to a shared bathroom for the building; not ideal for a bar. I just left skinny slims in Edmond. Seemed like a pretty kewl place, but I couldn't get served a drink. I went in with my husband, we are both over 40. I am actually 46 and my birthdate was on my license, but I didn't realize it was expired by a month. The bartender served my husband a drink and we left. It just seemed kinda ridiculous. Finally a friendly neighborhood bar in Edmond! Great selection of draft beer, bottles and cans. Also hard liquor drinks. Food surprisingly good and very unique take on bar food. Owners work there all the time and Kiely is the best. Try it once and you will love it. read more
