We live on a busy street in San Jose which sees a lot of foot traffic. We had many instances where homeless people would practically clean themselves using our front yard hose bib. So I wanted to bring our fence line forward to not only enclose the hose bib, but to also gain more private space. We opted to get premium knot-less wood with horizontal board placement and a custom-cut lattice. We also paid a little extra to get it stained. What a great experience! Visiting my mother-in-law's in San Jose, I noticed her fence was in disrepair. I decided to get it taken care of so she didn't have to worry about it. I went to my favorite app...(Yelp of course) and I did a search for fence repair. I found quite a few companies. When I clicked on 'request a quote' yelp gave me a choice of different companies as well as the ability to download a picture. Alejandro fencing responded within 30 minutes and gave a written estimate. After talking with Alejandro Fencing, they were at my house within the hour. The bid came in at $570 for approximately 20 feet. The other bids were about $35 per foot and Alejandro was it $30 per foot so it was the lowest bid. I made appointment for the next morning between 9 and 10 AM. They showed up promptly at 9 AM and by 10:30 AM the fence was complete. Alejandro was very friendly and knowledgeable. The job was professionally done at fraction of the cost from the big guys. Can't ask for more: fast, friendly. inexpensive and professional. I would highly recommend them. read more

I guess they're getting good business now and don't need small jobs anymore. However ignoring customers without even replying is a terrible way of doing business. A section of our fence started leaning badly due to a storm. I contacted several companies through the yelp messaging service. Alejandro responded promptly and visited to take a look. His quote was very reasonable, and I appreciated his friendly, professional attitude. I had to work with the neighbor's landlord, which added some challenges, but all communications with Alenjandro were courteous and friendly. Both times I've been very impressed by not only the high quality work they do, but also the stellar customer service by Alejandro, the owner. He's always been very responsive in answering all of my questions. I can't say the same for other companies where I'm often ignored, playing phone tag and just dealing with stupid bs. Who has time for that nonsense? They offer a 5 year warranty as well but inquire with the owner on that if any policy has changed.
