I knew this little shy girl was meant for our family. We brought her home and within a few days she really blossomed! Now, after only 3 weeks she is the biggest love bug and lap kitty! I am so thankful that we saved this beautiful kitten. Please, when you visit a shelter be sure to pay attention to the shy and timid cats as well as the outgoing ones! They deserve a chance at a loving home as well! I want to thank Maddie for helping me with Talia's adoption. You were so wonderful! She is the most loving, playful and adorable little kitten! Meaning you CANNOT come and look at the animals UNLESS you have been "blessed" with a call back and then maybe an appt will be scheduled. Another note. They start "feeding" BEFORE they close (4pm). That is another excuse/reason you will also be rejected in looking . To recap. Their procedure is: 1.fill out an online application. 2.Wait to be called back by "Michelle". 3. No call back = not qualified 4. No viewing during odd feeding hours. Like most agencies and rescue groups THEY determine if YOU can meet an animal. No matter your qualifications.

It's only open to the public on Saturday mornings, but it's worth the visit…read more This is definitely a must-see place (especially if you have kids), but you do need advance reservations that can be made on their website. The whole setup is totally cool - the Dr. Seuss wonky walkway and overhead paths for the goats, the aviary made with old batting cages, the ice cream truck as housing for their pig that keeps getting out, the creative uses for old electric cable spools, a rocking chair on the front porch of a pig house, a chandelier in the chicken coop - plus all the bright colors everything is painted! Wind chimes, scratching posts, slides - even a huge "boat". The ducks have above-ground pools to swim in. Talk about pampered animals!! I can't believe the variety of animals they have!! Pigs, a cow, horses, goats, a sheep, chickens, ducks, peacocks, and now a burro! Looking at the videos on social media really makes it fun to know what the animals' names are when you come. Can't wait to go back!
