Now, we have the ability and flexibility to create really impactful collateral, and Roxanne is more than responsive. I've emailed her questions before where she'll respond in less than a minute! Not only that, Roxanne helped us obtain a new license for our Fiery system at the last minute to complete a project. We should have kept the license, and it was our fault, but Roxanne went out of her way and was able to get us back up and running. Matt Blevins was our sales rep and his responsiveness to questions and requests was amazing! He is very friendly and never trying to over/upsell the situation. He did a great job of asking us questions to find out what our business needs were and made recommendations accordingly. He was also diligent in making sure that everything was handled seamlessly, from the demo all the way through installation, training, and returning our previous lease for us. Caltronics is the best copier companies in Sacramento! As a chiropractor who is fairly progressive in marketing, I found myself spending a lot of money at kinkos paying for full color printing. I bought an expensive printer only to have to pay for ink every few weeks. That was expensive and a waste of time. Finally, a friend at Caltronics showed me the numbers on what it would cost to lease a copier/printer/fax machine that would do so much more. Now, I am saving money and I can print high quality marketing materials any time I need them. Since that fateful day that a Caltronics rep showed me the light, I have had the good fortune of working with Mike Murdoch. Mike is great. He gives me plenty of options but pretty much knows what I want and needs. He gets me the best price and I really do not have any proplems with the machines which is remarkable for a printer/copier. Caltronic's support is great, too. If I ever need something, they are on it fast. I have Mike's cell phone number so I know I could call him and he could get something done fast but I have never had to do that. Quick Review: AWESOME! Sales team listens and not pushy. Customer Service is excellent. Wait time is short and they have remote access ability so a tech can help you right away. Training for everyone and everything. My Story: Our lease was coming to an end and months before I began looking for a new and affordable company that can meet our needs. I was fortunate to go to an Open House and got a tour of the Caltronics facility. They were very open about everything. I watched how they refurbished machines, how they are packed and shipped. I also learned they have in house printing and binding that is available to the public for specialty jobs. ie: binder dividers with special tabs, business cards, banners ... I also got some training on the machines they had there which help identify my needs for the office. This place was pretty awesome, I wanted to work there. The sales rep I dealt with was Shane. He was attentive to my needs in pricing and goals. He was also not pushy, unlike other companies I was seeking quotes from. He answered emails very quickly. He gave me information that the other companies didn't offer. For example: there's a time frame the lease ending process needs to begin to be done on time or the other company will charge extra. There's a letter of intent to be sent out which Shane provided me a template. When the machine arrived a tech team member set up our computers and other features we needed the printer to do, ie: restrict color printing. A trainer came a couple days later to go over the entire machine. Zach is a very knowledgeable trainer! He not only shows you what to do but has simple tutorials for later use. The training is free and can be schedule anytime and as many times as needed. Zach is also excellent at answering questions via email or phone very quickly. The transition to a new machine and their company could not have gone any smoother. For a growing company they give a small business feel. I would highly recommend them!! read more

We were in the market for a new copy machine, and Mason Magleby and Matt Blevins from CalTronics happen to stop by one day. I told them our needs, our budget, and what we currently were paying for our machine. They took the information, and within a few days had a proposal for me to take to our board for approval. Although I had researched many other providers, including the one we currently were using, no one could match the deal they gave us. We decided to go with them. I don't usually enjoy dealing with "sales people", but Mason and Matt, they were the best! Let me say that so far, from the delivery and installation and set up, to the trainer, Julie Kohart, that came and trained me on the machine I have been extremely pleased. Their professionalism, the fact they were professionally dressed, and that they were more than knowledgeable of the machine helped me feel confident we had made the right decision in going with CalTronics! Julie's patience and knowledge and ability to call and get what help we needed right away to make it all work, was surprising and yet very refreshing! I have been able to successfully make the transition from our old machine to our new Konica/Minolta machine with all transparency. Not only is the machine all I need it to be, all employees that have been a part of getting it to us and getting it up and running have been amazing! I highly recommend this company! read more

We purchased a Konica Minolta Biz Hub 362 from Caltronics. The service that we received from their entire staff was, and still is, outstanding. They had the machine hooked up and dialed into our system with all users printing within a couple hours. To my knowledge, we've had one issue with the machine. We made a phone call to the service department. They were here within an hour and had the Biz Hub up and going again. It's so hard to find good companies to do business with. Thank you, Caltronics, for the great customer service. We had been staying with our existing supplier and maintenance company for years, even though the service was declining, for fear of winding up with something worse, and because of the commotion associated with making the change. Once we got Matt Blevins at Caltronics involved in our transition, it was smooth sailing. I am demanding of our service providers and expect the best customer service, so I put Matt through the ringer a little bit. I asked for quote information, backup information, and then more information. Then I stopped the process due to time constraints. I'd frequently start the process back up again, asking that he answer more questions and what-if scenarios, only to put it back on hold again. I did this for months, and the whole time, Matt answered every question, and on my timeline. He followed up without aggressively pushing. He basically did the opposite of every poor thing our previous supplier did. Bottom line is that the way Matt handled these initial communications had a big impact on my final decision to pull the trigger and switch to Caltronics. Once we were ready to go through the transition, it could not have been any smoother. From the paperwork to get out of the other company's deal, to new setup with Caltronics, to the BizHub install and follow up to training on the new machine. Richard and the Caltronics team is amazing!! Richard has assisted me in person, via email, and over the phone too with inquiries. This was after his visit to my office which surprised me with a new BizHub that was delivered to my employer. The previous machine we had was very outdated. With Richard's assistance I have been able to use all 3 trays without needing to leave my desk to switch from plain paper to letterhead paper. I know how to add employees to the email service and I can create personal settings for documents that saves me more time at work so I can get more done at work in 1 day. Caltronics became our provider of copier service when the people we actually contracted with, Docuware, sold to them. We had to discover this sale by accident when we called Docuware to complain that one of thier technicians was bad mouthing my company to a client that Docuware and my company shared for years. Very poor and unexpected professionalism, they should have come to me if they had a complaint. That client is still ours but not thiers by the way so you figure out which was right. Anyway Caltronics didn't care. I can't even begin to go into all the details of bad service, heavy handed tactics to get us to resign up and other problems we had with Caltronics but the final straw was when I purchased a copier from someone else and unplugged the Caltronics copier for the last 2 months of the contract. They sent me an invoice for an unplugged copier with OVERAGE charges for excessive copies. This calls into question every invoice we ever received from them. My advice, stay away, they are at best unprofessional, at worst....well you decide. read more

Was a client for 7 years, through 2 leases - only to find out that my company was being taken advantage of all along. I did not post earlier because I know we'll get a call and they'll try to say something was misunderstood or something, we'll - I am posting so that the public can make their own decision. This is my story. So, I am at the end of my second lease and the sales person (whom I will not mention by name) came and offered us a renewal at basically the same costs. I also got a quote for a used printer from Andy Scott and A&E Repro in Rancho Cordova, and in a few words, I got a 2 year newer printer than the one I had for approximately $2400, and the one that I had Caltronics would sell to me for ~$3500, after I paid them for over 3 years...let that sink in. BTW, the printer on my second lease wasn't new, it was used. The kicker was my full maintenance contract with A&E Repro is now $200/quarter, and I was paying Caltronics over $300/month in a lease. The second kicker, I had to pay $500 to have their printer returned! Salt in the wound. Full disclosure, the $500 was charged by the leasing company, but let's also not forget that it was Caltronic who put us in the lease to begin with and shame on us for thinking they were looking out for our best interest. Glad this is over and we're now saving a ton of money. My recommendation is to shop around and don't get stuck in leases like I did that appear to take advantage of businesses like ours. read more

I can not tell you how disappointed I am with Caltronics. We switched to them a few years ago and I thought they were the best. We had two copiers and quite a few printers they provided and serviced. At first they were attentive, but within a year of winning our business they disappeared. Never saw or heard from anyone. No maintenance on brand new copiers. No follow up at all. Now I have ended the relationship with them and have to argue over a cancellation fee. So I need to cancel or they auto renew and when I do cancel I have to pay. Poor business practices, start to finish. So disappointing. There are plenty of choices out there, so find someone other than Caltronics. read more

Just wanted to take the time to say I recently upgraded my Bizhub223 with Caltronics every single part of the process from the sales person, Mike Murdoch to the IT tech Tommy and the driver not sure of his name, but they were all unbelievably professional and made the entire process so easy. I cannot say enough about this company and the people they employ honestly the best service I have ever received from a company. When the delivery person Jason Stewart came to my business he was so caring and professional made sure not to scratch floors doorways and moved my other machine taking care not to harm it as well. He was beyond what the standard is and I can just say I appreciate how thoughtful he was. The next person was Tommy the IT person who showed up after to program the machine just amazing and also equally as caring doing everything he needed to above and beyond the scope of his job. The sales person Mike Murdoch is probably the best sales person ever so efficient and professional and caring and I could go on and on.
