They do not sell Walmart gift cards, so much for saving time huh?! They do have snack options and cigarettes if that's your thing. Usually these types of gas stations just have a kiosk not a store you can actually walk into. It is a pretty tight squeeze when other people are in the store. I was surprised how weird it is when there is a line of people. But hey, if you are ok to wait super close to strangers you will be just fine.

I have passed by this old Convenient Food Mart store many times but finally made this stop after a recommendation by a close friend who is a big "foodie!" I knew a Meatloaf sandwich was going to be on the list so I went directly to the counter to pick one up, I also picked up a country ham sandwich and bottled water to eat in the front seat of my truck (there were no open seats available inside due to the local crowd occupying all the tables and seating), they were very busy. There was plenty of help, everybody was very helpful and friendly. The steam table had plenty of options for lunch or you can choose to have a deli sandwich made but the Meatloaf is piled high in a bun and it packs all the flavor you expect from a farmhouse kitchen table! I will be back soon and make this a regular lunch stop to try some of there other menu items when I am working in Shelbyville again!
