Best darn breakfast I've had in a long time. The first bite of my 3 eggs omelet told me I died and went to heaven. It only got better from there. The three egg omelet comes with a list of ingredients you can choose from. Make it huge. Then the biscuits and gravy. Pure love in your mouth. Huge chuncks of sausage and the Gravy is thick and greasy, just like it should be. I could not finish my meal. I was stuffed after halfway. The service is excellent. I met the owner/chef, Ruth, and talked with her. Such a sweetheart. The server is a doll. Such a good attitude and extremely nice. Wow! Amazing little spot for lunch. They had lots of great items on the menu. It is not inexpensive but certainly an awesome value. I had the Reuben and it was the seriously the best I have ever had and that is my go to sandwich at a real deli. I lived in Chicago for several years and have eaten at some really good ones. Large portion so I only ate half and brought the rest home for lunch today! Their lasagne was the special and it looked really great and an enormous portion as well, but way too much for me for lunch. The other patrons that had it were raving about it and it included a salad and garlic bread. Their desserts were very good. Red velvet cake is not a favorite of mine but I brought it home for my husband and it was excellent as well. Service was wonderful. Family owned local deli. The location is very convenient to downtown. Small but plenty of seating. I like the counter seating for a quick in and out. Family operation, friendly with good service. Don't let the price point on the sandwich's put you off. These are high quality, big, fresh, artisan deli sandwiches. I recommend you spring for the up-charge for the Zapp's Kettle chips. The New Orleans style Voodoo chips are amazing! So much I want to go back and try from the menu. Update: We've been back a couple times and still enjoy Knobby's. This last visit we waited what seemed like a long time to place our order. Also had to get up to get for our own refills. They ran out of coffee at breakfast time but they recognize problem and are addressing it. None of which is a big deal. Good place to try! read more

I love this place and think it's a great addition for Campbellsville. I have had a philly cheese steak and on a second and third visit created my own sandwich. I love that they use Boar's Head meat-it's delicious. The desserts are phenomenal! The service is quick and friendly. This is definitely my go to spot for lunch. My first time visiting this charming deli was today for brunch. I selected the breakfast burrito with bacon, (sausage is also an option). It was stuffed with fluffy eggs, crispy hash browns and bacon. It was fresh from the kitchen served with a dish of salsa and garnished with orange slices. I was so full after the first half of the burrito that I took the rest home with me for later! I also purchased, for later, a monster homemade cinnamon bun slathered with cream cheese frosting because it was calling my name. The coffee served here is reason enough to stop in as it is a special blend made for Knobby's! I savored two mugs as it is THE BEST CUP of JOE I have had since moving to Campbellsville from New York over a year ago. I look forward to future meals prepared here. The sandwich menu is huge and tantalizing. The women working here are welcoming, personable, and gifted in the restaurant trade. read more

We discovered Knobby's through Yelp, then followed Google maps to its location in Campbellsville on a side street slightly away from downtown Campbellsville. The menu was varied, I could have gotten a Reuben but opted for the Philly cheese steak which was good along with the potato salad. Natalie had the soup and it was good too. This is a family restaurant run by the daughter's and spouse of the founder. The atmosphere is quirky and down-home. There was a varied group of customers coming in. Nice place to grab some lunch. Their breakfast menu looks tasty but I haven't tried yet. As far as atmosphere, it's a small and quaint place, somewhere I'd prefer to get take-out instead of dining in. The workers seemed very friendly and happy. My only complaint is price. I'll happily pay for what I get, especially for the homemade sides that you get to chose from, but I think the prices are slightly high for what you get. read more
