The staff was fantastic with their scheduling, reminders and follow up. The insurance processing was made easy and we were told the amount due (after insurance) at the consultation. We had an update from our insurance and they quickly emailed us a new estimate. They were always friendly, efficient and professional. Given the great staff I was surprised by the less than stellar reviews. They mostly seem to be about the doctor's "bedside manner." ....He did seem to come across with an unusually high air of self confidence. It was noticeable. But he was nothing but pleasant, kind and patient explaining the procedure and answering any question during all of our appointments. The whole office seems to run very smooth and efficiently, but when I had questions/concerns or my kid kids were anything less than comfortable they slowed everything down and gave us as much time and attention as we needed.

His assistant was very nice, and answered all of my questions very well. Additionally, I let the assistant and Dr. Dohman know that I just had blood drawn at my doctor's office in my right arm the day before, so I'd prefer the IV needle go in my left arm. The assistant says that Dr. Dohman "does the arm closest to him". I'm already feeling on the edge because of this procedure, and then he immediately does exactly what I DON'T want him to do, which is PUTTING THE IV IN MY RIGHT ARM. Granted, he did end up putting the IV in my right hand, but he still ripped off my bandaid where I had blood drawn the day before, and puts on the rubber band tightly to look for spots to inject after I said I wanted it done in my left arm, and then starts telling me that getting injected by a needle in my arm is an "irrational fear", which isn't something you should be telling a patient who's a paying customer. I have always been afraid of getting needles put in my arm and he belittled me and made me feel like my fears don't matter, which, again, is terrible bedside manner. Then I talk to my dad about this situation and turns out he's seen Dr. Dohman too, and he was very arrogant and again, no bedside manners to be seen. Don't go to this doctor if you want to feel belittled by him. His assistants were very sweet, but he isn't. Also, I'd like to add on that he is experienced and knows what he's doing, and so far I'm healing pretty well from my wisdom teeth extractions. I just don't like being belittled by a grown man.

The staff is beyond wonderful. I cannot say enough about them. So kind and reassuring. The absolute best. Dr. Niemann himself is so dang comforting, responsive and competent. He put this phobic completely at ease and let me tell you, that's hard to do. He told me jokes and was quite entertaining. They gave me a soft blanket and there was a tv overhead to distract me. This was such a positive experience for such a stressful procedure. You cannot go wrong with this doctor and the office in general. 100 golden stars.

She gives you good advice on keeping your gums and teeth clean and healthy I even got a Dental bag for flossing so well. Not just poor custOmer service but dangerous. when I called as a courtesy to cancel an upcoming cleaning I was told rudely and gruffly no I didn't have an appointment and was not a patient there. Not, thank you and we are sorry for what happened. The good news is the Lexington Park staff is fabulous. they took ownership and I am receiving excellent care!

I didn't want to goto the ER/ED unless it got worse because it cost so much money to goto the their, I can got the Dr for $25 get a CT scan for $65 and about $20 for blood work. The hospital would cost me about $1250+, you get a bill from the hospital for blood work, the room, facility charges and miscellaneous items. Then a bill from radiology and another bill from the ER/ED Dr, so that like 3-4 different bills to do the same thing. Now back to the Dr visit, I arrived at 11:35 checked in for my 12:00 appt. paid then waited in the waiting area until 12:20 Nurse called me we were walking to the room and she said the Dr. is backed up.... She was extremely friendly did her stuff and then say its going to be a while before he gets to you.. It was like 12:45 when Dr, Berg came in, now they want you to be there 20 min early but its ok to make you wait before they get to youth and if your 6 min late may as well stay home they wont see you and they will charge you. Dr Berg asked me what was wrong and I explained, he then asks me some questions. Do you need a rectal exam today? No I came in for my abdomen pain. Does it burn a little when you pee, sometime not a lot? Oh then we need to do a STD test, NO we don't I don't have a STD doc. Then a bunch of other questions about me hurting, he says well let me write up some paperwork for you. He's looking on the computer and asked me what do you want me to do, you can just go over to the hospital. I didn't want that I said because it cost to much money to goto the ED/ER, oh ya I agree he said let do some bloodwork and you can go get a CT scan. He asked if I have had contrast before yes I said the one they shoot in you while doing the scan. He got pissed because he was talking about the one you drink and now he has to write the script over, I said just leave it.. Then I asked if Dr. Lowenthal retired, he says I don't know he's not my dr. Im just trying to have a conversation.. Im going to steer clear of him everyone should, but all of the staff were friendly and helpful.

She comes off very ditzy and just horrible bedside manner. No compassion at all. If you have a complicated health history don't even bother seeing her. She's a joke. I have since found another practice in the county that is much better and is actually equipped to handle the complexity of my health issues. I'm on disability and I should have never agreed to see her and should've requested an MD instead. Lesson learned. Do not go to her if you value your health, go elsewhere! I am seeing Parul Jani MD in Prince Frederick and she is vey thorough and wonderful bedside manner.
