The dogs are very loved and well cared for. My experience with my dad adopting a Maltese Angel Baby made me decide I needed a baby of my own! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy breeder and gorgeous, healthy pup!

They are careful who they select and they interview you for a reason. They love their dogs. I reached out to Sally in 2020 after losing our Yorkie Rikey..I placed a $500.00 deposit with her for a puppy, but ultimately decided to adopt another Yorkie. Sally actually offered and gave the non-refundable deposit back, when she did not have to. Ultimately it was a huge mistake going with the Yorkie and other breeder, she sent us home with a puppy with giardia and a very unhealthy dog that had to have surgery and then became vicous with us because of something wrong with his brain. The breeder offer us no support or help. Ultimately we had to have him put down. Heartbreaking. I called Sally backand got on her list and we brought home our precious Lillian Grace in Feb 2022. She has beeneverything Sally promised and more! Sally's home is clean and she provides excellent care and communication from conception. You get pics of x-ray with your baby and pics of birth, videos amd pics every week until you pick your baby up. She is the best breeder we have ever worked with. You can call her anytime you need advice or have questions. We are already on the waitlist to bring another baby home! DO NOT BUY FROM THESE "BREEDERS"…read more I purchased a Siberian husky puppy from PhiChase Siberians/Samantha & Charles Dickason in June, 2019. After a 7 week wait, I drove 2 1/2 hours and picked my puppy up from their Philomath, OR home. Once home, I noticed a sizeable mass on her back right leg about 1/2 golf ball in size and extremely hard. I immediately notified the "breeders" as they had outlined in the "contract" I had signed. They told me it was likely swelling from wrestling with her litter mates that morning, and to ice the swollen area. I got her into the vet as soon as I was able. After X-rays, a board-certified radiologist diagnosed it as Calcinosis Circumscripta, NOT swelling. This condition is rare and can be from a trauma or it could be hereditary. At this time, the cause was unknown. Over the next month, I went to multiple vets for more opinions, all coming back the same diagnosis. I sent the X-rays to the "breeders" who then sent them to the vet of their choice, also confirming the diagnosis. Unfortunately, the mass kept growing, ultimately locking her rear leg straight. She had zero range of motion in that joint and could not sit properly. This caused severe muscle tremors in her leg that would cause her to scream in pain. I was referred to a vet orthopedic surgeon for treatment, as the condition is so rare, no general vet would consider it. The mass continued to grow and cause pain. In December 2019, when puppy was only 6 months old, she had surgery. The orthopedic surgeon was INCREDIBLE and was able to remove every trace of the calcification. However, it immediately grew back and within six weeks was its original size, pushing through the surgery incision. By the first week of February 2020, she had to have her leg amputated. Before the first surgery, I reached out to these "breeders" asking if they would assist in the cost of the surgery. I received no help from them, only an offer to take the puppy back and swap for another one, where they would "treat and rehome her to another family" or $650 of my $850 money paid back and I could either return the dog, or keep her and the contract would be void. I reached out to an animal law attorney in Oregon who told me I had a solid case, so I rejected both offers. I never understood why they would treat and rehome her to another family but would not treat her and return her to me. I offered to settle with them or to sue. They kicked me out of their Facebook group and blocked me, and my e-mail and settlement letter went unanswered. They hired an attorney and ignored and my attorney finally got involved, increasing my overall costs, which I was hoping to avoid for both of our benefits. I sued them for the cost of all her vet bills plus attorney fees only and won at arbitration. They didn't bother attending arbitration after battling this for more than 10 months. The arbitration decision was appealed by their attorney, and costs continued to rise to over $25K. As of May 28, 2020 they had NEVER been a REGISTERED BUSINESS in the state of Oregon, even though they are operating as one (two if you consider their other business Jekota, who I did not conduct business with, but with whom routinely shares dogs and is based out of the same location, as they are married). They guaranteed me an AKC registered puppy, with AKC paperwork to be provided after I spayed my puppy. I never received the AKC paperwork. I was provided a health guarantee that ended up being erroneous. My Siberian husky's growth is stunted from the calcium condition. This condition has now repeated on her other back leg and has been found to be hereditary in her case. The puppy's Dam and Sire (Trulee and Taz) are now both "retired" luckily. This is my first and last time I get a dog from a breeder. I am hoping you all learn from my mistake and DO NOT make the same one I did. ADOPT FROM A SHELTER or some other organization that is legally registered. See another person's similar experience here: https://www.searchbreeders.com/breeders/8117

Between the tests for diagnosis and the surgery to repair, I've spent over 10K on him. I've alerted them to the issue, so hopefully they'll do some research on the dogs used in breeding my boy - so far, the response has been "hope the surgery is successful."

We were blessed with our adorable Labrador Bourbon a couple of years ago. He was purchased as a…read morepuppy from Sunnyview and is now 5 years old. He has had every recommended/required vaccination at the appropriate time, kept on a heathy diet, given plenty of exercise, and very well loved and cared for. My daughter went through a rough time with anxiety/depression a few years back and our dog "Bourbon "was and continues to be a huge source of comfort to her. Bourbon developed a small lump on his shoulder a couple of months ago. We took him to our vet and had him checked out. It appeared to the vet he strained his shoulder, which made perfect sense. He had been playing with several other dogs at a park that still had some snow and ice. We followed the recommended treatment, kept Bourbon on "bed rest" and the lump started to go down. The vet told us at his follow-up appointment he looked to be on the mend. About three weeks after his follow up appointment the lump started getting large again. We took him back to the vet and got the devastating news Bourbon had cancer. We immediately got a second opinion as it did not seem possible that could be correct. They confirmed the cancer diagnosis. We then went to a Veterinary Oncologist that confirmed Bourbon had cancer, and our only options were to euthanize him, or we could run further tests and depending on those results we could amputate his leg. We of course opted to run the tests, as we hoped by some miracle the first three diagnosis were wrong. Sadly, they were correct. Bourbon being the amazing dog he is, and the incredible support he is for my daughter the choice was obvious. It was suggested by all three of the vets involved we contact the breeder and make him aware of the situation as breeders like to be informed of life shortening/threatening issues that arise in their dogs. The Sunnyview web page claims to have breed the cancer out of their dogs. The following is copied from their website: "We practice selective breeding for field trial, hunting, conformation, and unquestionable temperament. Through selective breeding we have basically zero instances of hip dysplasia and PRA (progressive retinal atrophy) in our dogs. All breeding stock are certified with OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) and CERF (Canine Eye Registration Foundation). Additionally, cancer, also genetic, has all but been eliminated in our bloodlines, excluding idiopathic forms." Dick Weiner's response "it's environmental, food, water, care". The only thing it was not, was anything to do with breeding. Never once did he ask about any of the extensive lab work we had done to determine the type of cancer he has, vet reports, x-rays, or for that matter what he is fed, or his environment. I am appalled at such lack of concern and pure disinterest in one of "HIS" dogs. Blaming our care (when clearly, we have no limits to loving and caring for Bourbon) and refusing to have a conversation about one of his dogs having cancer, while advertising "it's all but been eliminated from their blood lines". Our vet bills are currently well over the $5,000.00 mark to save our amazing Bourbon. We promised when we were given this incredible, beautiful dog we would love him and give him the best home possible, which we are very much doing. I caution anyone considering purchasing from Sunnyview, to consider this man's response to this situation, and consider the fact this blood line is advertised to "all but have cancer eliminated" possibly not be entirely correct.
