I've used the professional services of Kitty Meow Meow for pet sitting and pet walking for my dogs and cat since 2006. Before the first pet sit, Heidi came over to meet me and my pets. She interacted very easily with my old dog and cat right from the start and was very thorough in asking questions about every aspect of their care and personalities. My old dog had issues with arthritis. Heidi was able to adapt to her ever-changing needs, including medicating her, assisting her to walk, and dealing with her separation anxiety. Heidi currently is making it possible for me to raise two rather energetic pups on my busy schedule by giving them mid-day walks. Imagine trying to walk two dogs who want to go in two different directions. Heidi is very patient with them. I've never experienced any problems or concerns when my animals are under her care. She provides as many updates as you like. She sends an email confirmation prior to her visits, checks with me when I forget to let her know that I arrived home, and texts me if any questions arise. I look forward to reading her creative descriptions of her time with the pets. Makes you feel like you were there. One of her other unique qualities, in my opinion, is that she never leaves me in a bind. If she can't take care of the requested visit, she finds a substitute for me and makes sure that I and my pets are comfortable with the new person. I have been a client of Heidi's (Kitty Meow Meow) for several years and use her pet sitting service many times in a year. I highly recommend Heidi if you want quality pet care and peace of mind while you are away! We have two cats, one very old who recently passed away. The older cat needed several medications, sub-cutaneous fluids, and a special diet for the past couple of years. It would have been extremely difficult for my family to leave home for more than half a day had Heidi's wonderful service not been available. Our other option would have been to board our old cat at a vet, in a cage all day, away from her other cat companion and her comfortable home. Heidi always kept in contact with us by phone or email, whichever we preferred, to let us know that things were going well, or if she had the slightest concern such as our older cat not eating well, etc. And as has been said, she always leaves detailed notes with every visit. This past summer our family was able to travel to Ireland and we had the peace of mind knowing that Heidi would be taking care of our cats while we were away. We felt as comfortable with Heidi as we would a family member in our home and considering the tender care she's given our pets we feel like she is a part of our family. She also did extra duties such as bringing in mail, taking garbage out to the curb, and feeding our reptiles and fish! Heidi is thorough and professional through and through. We have been using Kitty Meow Meow since 2006. She has watched our animals on trips ranging in length from 24 hours up to two weeks. Each time we go away, we have 100% confidence that our animals are safe, fed and most importantly, well loved by Heidi. We have had many pets over these years and it astounds me each time how Heidi is able to bond so quickly with each new critter we acquire. She has an innate sense of all things 4-legged. The insightful notes she leaves for us to read when we arrive home always make me smile and remind us why it is we love to hire Kitty Meow Meow. These notes include details on their moods, activities and their interactions with one another. There was a period of time when Heidi returned home to southern Oregon and we were forced into using another pet sitter. It was not the same experience. Yeah, our pets were fed and walked, but we did not sense the intangibles that Heidi brings with her. Before trips, there is always a reminder email to both me and my wife, confirming what we discussed in terms of timing and amount of visits. I have used this business now for several years for my two elderly cats, one of whom passed away recently after suffering from cancer. Heidi and her associates have been twice-a-day pet sitters for my two kitties in their "elderly" years when both have needed twice-daily medication. One of my kitties has required 2 insulin injections per day as part of that regimen. I have used Kitty Meow Meow for both weekends and extended vacations of up to two weeks. I have always returned to healthy, happy kitties and excellent daily notes left by Heidi or one of her associates. Given the health of my two cats, I know that they would not be as healthy and happy as they have always appeared if they had not received the excellent care that Heidi conscientiously reports upon in her notes and/or checks in with me for further direction In addition to excellent love and care for my cats, Heidi cleans up any necessary parts of my house that might be amiss as a result of my cats, she keeps water bowls fresh and always combs my cat as part of her nurture and attention. She is a most conscientious and loving care-giver and I hope that she will always be here to provide care for my elderly cat and whatever new little kitty soul may join our family eventually. read more

Heidi was amazing from start to finish. I was gone for one whole month this Christmas and when I got home my cat didn't even seem to realize I was gone. Usually when I get home after a long trip my cat seems like she missed me so much and is freaking out. Not this time though. My cat was in good hands. Throughout my trip, I never once had to worry about my cat. I got emails with pictures of my cat every other day while I was gone and with a description of exactly how she was doing. I couldn't be happier with Kitty Meow Meow. She came over on the interview visit with a clipboard and wrote down every detail about how best to take care of my cat. She was organized, thoughtful, nice, and I felt good about her being in my house. She even watered my plants. I couldn't ask for more from a cat sitter. Most importantly, I feel that the price is worth it. Sure, I could pay a friend less, but I know my friend won't be there for 30 minutes, playing and cuddling with my cat every other day. Also, Heidi bought my cat a laser pointer to play with her and she left it with us as a Christmas present from Santa Paws. When I found myself with a four-month-old puppy while I was on crutches, I was truly in a bind. I needed someone who could take this fuzzy ball of energy and walk her when I could not. Heidi spent time with me, asking detailed questions about commands I was trying to teach the dog despite her usual policy of only walking dogs that are leash trained. She came highly recommended from a friend who needed her dog walking services during her 12 hour long nursing shifts. We both have found Heidi to be the most professional and caring dog walker. She has a deep and obvious love of animals, and goes to extra effort to share details of her daily walks. I have recommended Heidi to other friends, especially friends with animals who need special care. I would highly recommend Heidi again without any reservations. My nurse friend has since moved out of state, but I know she missing Kitty Meow Meow and wishes she could find someone as dedicated, caring and professional as Heidi in her new home. read more

I cannot rate Heidi and her team highly enough. I found her service last summer when we first moved to Corvallis and needed a pet sitter. We were impressed with her thoroughness and attention to detail with regard to our beagle's routines, likes, dislikes, etc. Any worry vanished with Heidi's daily texts. We were very impressed. Just recently our beagle has had some health issues (he's almost 14!), but we knew Heidi would take good care of him (and his new feline sister). She and her team went above and beyond the call of duty, giving extra TLC and making sure we were informed daily (often more than once a day) as to his state of health and well being. Heidi is incredible and professional! I am new to Corvallis and have traveled very frequently for work. Heidi is always able to accommodate my travel schedule and I come home to happy, well-taken care of cats. She is incredibly attentive and has amazing attention to detail (once even noticing that my cat had lost weight since she saw her last - prior to going in for a dental to fix her teeth - and making sure I knew so I could watch out for my pet's health). Heidi shows genuine concern for the well-being of my animals. Even though I have plenty of friends in Corvallis now who would be happy to cat-sit, I keep having Heidi come check on them because of how much of an amazing job she does and the peace of mind I have while traveling when I know Heidi is caring for my kitties! Heidi and her assistants are literally the BEST pet sitters ever. I've always had pets, and I've had a lot of experience with sitters, and frankly it can be nerve-wracking. But Heidi really makes me feel like my pets are safe and comfortable, much more so than other sitters whose services I've used before living in Corvallis. With Heidi, who is the only sitter I've used long-term, I know for sure that my pets are getting the best care from someone who loves them!! This is an update of an earlier 5-star review. Heidi already has our highest recommendation for pet sitting. On our last trip our male cat sustained an injury and Heidi was very conscientious in taking him to the vet twice and watching over his recovery. The vet was very impressed too, and told me so twice! Heidi and her staff are both conscientious and very loving, and Heidi approaches her business as a calling. She is also careful to communicate with us about all the details of daily cat life. Nettie Day, the expert pet groomer for Kitty Meow Meow, has come to our home to groom Barney three times. Each time she had done a very complete job of brushing him out, plus trimming his hair and nails as needed, Nettie's vet office experience and pride in her work really shows. Not only did she give wonderful and attentive care to my cat Peppermint, she also took in my mail, watered my plants, and checked my water pipes during a cold snap last winter--She really was thorough! My cat is shy around strangers, but she came out for Heidi during the visits, so I know that Peppermint felt really comfortable with Heidi being there.
