Bad service. Asian Receptionist was very rude toward patients. Very very disrespectful toward elderly women with little English.

Terrible Billing Practices & Unprofessional Behavior -- BEWARE!…read more I had an extremely disappointing experience with Women's Imaging Center and Dr. Morris-Chong's office. We were charged $250 up front for a screening that our insurance, Blue Shield, confirmed was covered 100%. Blue Shield was shocked that this facility charged us the way they did. While billing mistakes can happen, the real problem was how the office handled (or rather, mishandled) the situation. Even after we sent them the official Explanation of Benefits clearly showing full coverage with no copay, they continued to deny the facts, gaslight us, and insist that our insurance required payment. We had to get Blue Shield directly involved, and they confirmed not only that the visit should have cost $0, but that they had already paid the center -- meaning the office attempted to double-dip from both us and the insurance. To make matters worse, trying to get a refund was a nightmare. Front desk staff like Barbara C. dodged calls and gave the runaround, claiming she didn't handle billing and would "talk to the doctor " and that "the person that does billing hasn't been in the office at all". Really? How is that possible? After a few calls someone did eventually email us but that person did not seem knowledgeable with billing practices. After weeks of back-and-forth emails (where we were nothing but professional and polite), they agreed to refund only $160 (they confirmed they were mailing it out July 7th) -- not the full $250. Weeks passed with no check, and when it finally arrived at the end of July, it was for only $90. After that? Total silence. They completely ghosted us. Blue Shield has contacted me to encourage me to file a grievance against this practice as they feel cheated as well since they already paid them long ago and are shocked by the mishandling of their billing with our case. We have full documentation -- emails, call logs, and letters from Blue Shield confirming our position -- and are happy to share them with anyone considering this practice. This isn't about the money; it's about the principle. No patient should be treated like this, especially when already dealing with the stress of a suspicious medical finding. Absolutely unacceptable and unethical behavior from a healthcare provider. Avoid this place at all costs.

She had the best bedside manner and explained everything to us to the point where we hardly had any questions. Whatever questions we did have were answered thoroughly. After the appointment, our nerves were calmed as we knew what to expect and were no longer in the dark about what the next steps were. I worked in the medical field for 12 years. I have never encountered a doctor like Dr. Morris. She is what every doctor should strive to be. Absolutely the best experience! I can't forget her office manager, Barbara! She is absolutely amazing--very professional and caring. Made the whole process simple and streamlined.

There are some hand sanitizers available for patients to use. This place is open and available with limited capacity. They are sanitizing in between patients. I mention these things in my reviews for the sake of protecting immunocompromised people like the elderly and people sick with cancer and other illnesses. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was here in this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is pretty big, but the lot does get full very quickly since they share the lot with a lot of medical offices. Some parking spots are smaller than others, so watch out! Establishment: The establishment itself is very clean, neat, tidy, and organized. Staff: The staff here are very friendly, welcoming, informative, and funny. Seriously, from the receptionists to the MRI techs, everyone was phenomenal. I like how the MRI techs walk you through what you'll experience before the exam starts. They also have a changing room / locker room for you to change and leave your stuff in. They have a nice mini waiting room inside with a bathroom and water dispenser once you exit the main waiting room. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum, but they charge 3% if you use your credit card.

Office management: The front staff/receptionist needs major training on how to treat and speak to patients. They do not have any compassion, courtesy or respect for their elderly patients. They are dismissive and condescending. Staff: I'm sure you would not be too happy if your parents were treated the way you treat the patients that come into this facility. I do not recommend this place. Advocate for your parents. Be very selective, there are choices out there, be diligent and do your homework. Don't settle for this kind of service. Our parents deserve better. Being disrespected and spoken poorly by this front desk staff is never an option. I DO NOT recommend!

Between an annual a mammogram and the Sono imaging, I feel as confident as I can. The imagining is done efficiently and takes only about 25 minutes. The staff is welcoming and will explain things along the way. The process itself involves the patient on their back and an ultrasound unit guided manually by the technician over a comprehensive area of the chest (including armpits and down to the upper ribcage). The cost has risen over the years but they often offer a discount which I try to take advantage of. Unfortunately they don't work with insurance, but if you have an HSA account you can use those funds to cover the cost.

I came here a few years ago for a breast ultrasound and had a wonderful experience…read more Since then, I went to The Huntington Hospital in Pasadena (Eleonor and Randall Breast Center) and was anxious about the mammogram results they gave me. They requested an ultrasound in addition to my mammogram. They made it sooo difficult for me to even book an ultrasound with them as I needed an approval from my OB (who is M.I.A). It's like: Why?! They're the ones asking me for an ultrasound and they have the ability to take said ultrasound- why do I need to get approval (aka another written referral) from my OB?! Insane! I'm not sure that Huntington even reads the patient's medical history as I had stated that I'd had a breast reduction (which creates scar tissue). I decided to come here for a second opinion. They were able to get my records from The Eleonor Breast Center. It was so much easier and smoother to book an appointment here. The radiologist that sent me the report here at Sono Center obviously took my medical history into consideration. They suggested a follow up ultrasound in a few months, which I appreciate. Their prices definitely went up but you get what you pay for in convenience, friendliness and just the fact that it's really hassle-free. They have a large validated parking lot and they're located on the first floor of the building. The place is very clean and cozy. I got my results the next day - which I appreciate very much as I was really stressed out over my results!

Terrible experience and poor service…read more I went to my orthopedic doctor appointment today and brought the MRI CD from this DMG location with me. My orthopedic doctor told me the CD was empty and that there was no report on the disc at all. He suggested that I go back to DMG to either ask for a refund of the $15 fee or at least get a printed copy of the report. I arrived at DMG around 2 PM. Unfortunately, the staff members were not very helpful or friendly. They simply told me to sit and wait while they checked the issue. I had another appointment at 3:30 PM, so after waiting for about 30 minutes with no update, I had to go back and ask what was going on because I didn't want to miss my next appointment. They told me they were making a new CD and that I needed to give them time. I explained again that I had another appointment at 3:30 PM, but they just kept telling me to wait. Eventually, they gave me a new CD, but honestly, I didn't want to risk another problem. So I asked if I could also get a printed copy of the MRI report in case the CD still didn't work. The staff member initially told me they don't provide paper copies. I was confused because clearly they are able to send the report to my family doctor, so why can't I, as the patient, get a copy of my own report? After going to the back office, they finally gave me both a new CD and a printed copy of the report. But honestly, why is asking for my own MRI report treated like I did something wrong? I was sitting there waiting for over an hour for the CD after the MRI screening in March 2026, and ended up they gave me an empty CD? Does it make any sense?
