But much worse, their service. This is the worst place for any sort of mechanical knowledge, skill, and service. I would not classify these individuals as professional by any standard. After flushing out the fuel system the car now will not start. There is only 80k miles on the vehicle. It is not a "coincidence " that my car no longer runs after "Dave's Worthless Auto." How I believe they should be known throughout the community. If this shop had the slightest bit of integrity they would have upheld the guarantee and at a minimum ran a diagnostic free of charge to ensure whether or not it was in fact their poor work. We made it to a mechanic in Battle Mountain who ran diagnostics but didn't get any codes. They found that my truck ( w/28,000 miles) has dark trans fluid. We called our home Jeep dealership (Walnut Creek Jeep) who had us make our way into Fernley. Our Walnut Creek guy called ahead letting them know that we were coming and explained our problem. When we got to Fernley the service advisor (a large gentleman) acted like he had no idea why we were there. We presented him with the paperwork from the BM mechanic and his response was literally "Well, there wasn't anything recorded so what do you want us to do?". When we told him that the BM mechanic had noted dark transmission fluid, we got an education about how our truck has a closed system and the previous guy "didn't know what he was talking about". Thankfully another advisor came over and he and my husband started talking about something MY HUSBAND read about on the web about updating a module. We paid to have the module updated and moved on. We won't be back to Fernley Jeep!

Mark Shadi and the finance manager was great to work with. No pressure to up sell us on vehicle warranty or under carriage spray. Clean little dealership that is welcoming and easy to do business with. Total transparency and low DOC fees compared to Reno/Carson dealerships.
