I've been coming to Camano Nails for at least five years and always have a great experience. Their mani/pedi is superb, so good my friend from Seattle gets hers done here too. It's better than those I've gotten in big cities! The pedicure lasts a good month without chipping. Best ever! I should add that I started coming when an ingrown toenail crippled me. Abby fixed it so I could walk again! I've been to four podiatrists about it and Camano Nails it the only place I get relief. Love this place! read more

Pedicure was done very poorly. Nail technician talked to coworker the whole time and even cut my cuticle to close to my skin and it's been red for four days. Polish was all over the place. After job was done I asked to have the big toes repainted since they were so bad. Could have done a better job at home. read more

I went to the Camano Nail & spa to get my nails done today. I received a full set with gel polish, manicure, and pedicure. It took approximately two hours to complete. I prefer to be at a salon for a few hours to receive excellent service, rather than it quick and rushed. I am INCREDIBLY picky with my nails, and I have been known to drive 1.5 hours to salons, knowing they provide high-quality service. I was very impressed with the service that was provided by the Camano Nail & Spa. Not only did my technician take her time, but she did an EXCELLENT job on my nails! If you are worried about going out due to COVID, I can assure you the salon was immaculate and followed the strict COVID19 protocol. Before you receive any service, your temperature is taken, and you sign a form stating you do not have any COVID19 symptoms. During my service, everyone wore masks, and there were barriers between you and the technician and between each guest. Camano Island Nail & Spa need to restructure the way they operate. I was there for 3 hours. I believe this is why no one acknowledges you when walking in because you sin in. This way they don't have to tell you there is a long wait. I waited about 15 minutes then they started on my mani. After the prep, the gal got up and left without telling me anything. I waited about 20 minutes and another gal informed me to go to the pedi room. I informed her my nails weren't finished but she spoke her language of which I had no clue of what she said and kept pointing to the pedi room. I was informed to sit at the open pedi station. No water in the bowl. I waited there about 30 minutes before they started the water. A young gal began attending to me and when she got to the color she applied a deep purple color. I informed you I didn't select that color. She said in broken English hard to understand I needed the dark background to bring out the light blue color I picked and proceeded. The lighting wasn't that great so I took it as she knew what she was doing until after she finished the first coat. It was a deep purple color. After I informed her again I didn't pick that color her tone and demeanor changed and she began removing all the color on my toes and continued with her in appropriate behavior while talking her language and another worker showed up and started telling me the same thing. She then applied a small amount of blue on my fingernail and kept repeating this was the color I picked. I agreed but informed her the color that was on my toes was a deep purple. She again said I need a dark base color because the blue I picked was to light. I said ok then put a little darker blue color not a purple. She finally after she kept repeating herself over and over grabbed a darker blue and when finished with the lighter blue application I had blue color not purple. The way I was treated was extremely rude and loud so all could hear and stare. They definitely were not going to admit fault, of which I wasn't looking for just wanted the color I selected and it was ok just get the correct color so we can keep this moving along. Finally finished and she said for me to keep switching my feet into the nail drying/curing unit and left. About 20 minutes later finally was moved back to the front of which I waited another 15 minutes to get my fingernails painted. This place is obviously understaffed and should have been transparent that they didn't have room for me at that time and to come back at a later time.l of which I would have gone and grabbed some groceries to fill in that time. The business was not clean and just looked junky. I do not recommend this place and would suggest new management or owner in order to turn it around to a better functional business. read more

I've been a customer for several years. Didn't go often but when I did, service was great. I always felt like I was getting spa treatment with great massages. Went today for pedicure, poor service. The operator rushed through. I had wanted a deluxe massage, put it down on sign in sheet. Apparently no one read it. Must have been very short staffed, but didn't say so. Very little massage, water lukewarm, pretty rough clipping cuticles & nails. Operator was handling 4 customers at same time. I've always had operator let me know when polish was set & hekp me put my sandals on. Not today. I could have clipped my own nails & put the polish on. Very disappointing. read more

My nails look crooked, every single one of them. When I said something I was told it's just my hands and they were not filed to adjust. I'm a bit annoyed at my overall experience. I called the night before and asked for a noon or 1230 appointment. I was told no, and asked to come in at 1130am. I gladly accepted and showed up on time. I was then shifted from chair to chair (poorly planned/executed covid policies) and not even sat in front of the nail tech until 12:15 meaning EITHER of my requested appointments would have better. read more

Camano Nails is the best salon I have worked with in the past 20 years. They provide all types of manicures and pedicures. I have been working with Tina for 3 years; she previously owned MV Nails in Mount Vernon. I followed Tina to Camano Nails because she is truly one of the best in her field. I went in for a pedi with shellac and an acyrlic fill with shellac. The place is large, comfortable and clean. However, I went with a friend. I waited 25 minutes for service and she waited 45! The tech did a very nice job and was very friendly but I won't go back. read more

This salon looks unassuming, but it provides the best nail service I've had in a long time -- and I have had my nails done for decades, in dozens of places in the country. First, the quality of work is superb and efficient. The nail techs know what they are doing, and steer you toward good suggestions. They adhere to my wishes and ideas, while providing good information. Their work lasts and looks good for a long time as the nails grow out -- I do a pink and white French. Second, they have been very gracious about fitting me in, even on a Saturday, without an appointment. Third, they remember me and what they did last time. Last, the prices are incredibly reasonable. I went to a different place ten days ago (because I was there and stuck for time), and the nails began to lift within a few days. I have worked with Abby and Anna, among others; Abby fixed the lifting nails in nothing flat. They are tops. I won't go anywhere else. read more

If you make an appointment don't count on it starting on time. They have a really hard time starting appointments anywhere near when you booked. Very clean environment, and private setting for pedicures compared to other places who line you up like an assembly line. I will drive from Marysville to go here because I like it that much. I've been going to a Stanwood nail salon and paying big $$$. The problem was I couldn't get an appointment every three weeks. They were always booked. Some friends told me to give Tina a try at Camano Nails. I did and am thrilled. The cost is much less. It is easy to get an appointment within a reasonable time. The quality of the work was excellent and I am thrilled to finally find a place where I can easily get an appointment. I was comfortable and it was obviously a very clean environment. My sister in law was getting married at nearby Cama Beach, in preparation I made appointments for her, my MIL and myself for pedicures and manicures. I confirmed it was OK to bring in champagne. Salon is clean, I loved that the polish is organized by color. It's quite large inside with 8 pedicure stations and 4 manicure stations. They were anxious to get us in the water for the pedicures but the actual service did not start for about 20 minutes after that. No problem, we had champagne and time :) I had a french manicure on my natural short nails. I am so impressed with how well they turned out. They made us stay at the drying table for what felt like forever, but it was worth it as my nails stayed pristine for over 10 days, a feat for someone like myself. It took 3 hours from start to finish so be prepared to be there for awhile, they do have snacks in the front by the coffee. Very reasonably priced, nice ladies and happy customers! read more

Service was incredibly slow the 2 times I have gone. 2.5 hours for a mani/ pedi is ridiculous, both times!! No gel or anything fancy either, just run of the mill old- fashioned clean them up and paint them. I don't have time in my life for a simple service like this to take all afternoon. They are great at their job,,, however, my only complaint is that the staff carry on their private conversations between themselves. They don't interact with the customer. Who knows, maybe they are talking behind our backs and saying bad things. It's not a good business practice to carry on with the staff and not pay more attention to the customer.
