Lately I've really been enjoying their spa pedicures but I've had dip and shellac done on my fingernails multiple times and everyone I've seen does a good job. Pro tip: they just bought Stanwood Nails over by Ace Hardware and are running it under the same name. If you can't get an appointment here in the time you're looking for you can call over there and expect the same service. Went last August and got a pedicure. My big toes both got infected from cutting off the cuticle and pushing bacteria under the remaining tissue. Three courses of antibiotics and almost a year later still dealing with an ongoing infection. Podiatrist stated it was because of taking off all the cuticle and lack of sterile protocol. Can't wear most of my shoes anymore as they press on the inflamed area. You've been warned. read more

They did my daughter's nails and toes perfectly. She got gel nails and toes as well as a design on her ring fingers and big toes. They seemed to do gel nails well. If that's what you're looking for go ahead and try them out, however the look and overall quality of my acrylic nails and my toes are one of the lowest that I have received. My toes are shellac French tipped and they look rushed, the white is so thick and the placement of the heart design was put in the middle of my big toe but slightly off to the side, I wanted them on the corner of my nail in the nude color that are on my nails. I showed them an example picture of my own nails that I had gotten done before for my acrylics. It was ombre with a heart on each nail. I opted to only get a heart on the ring fingers and thumb. When they were making the ombré effect they painted my nail nude and then used an air brush to spray on the white instead of using 2 different acrylic powders to get the ombré look and it looks like it was sprayed on for sure. I get ombré as my go to and I have never had them sprayed on before. Theyre all different shapes, lumpy on certain nails, different length, you can see the streaks from the nail polish and parts where they were sprayed. My middle finger is also getting infected from being cut with a dirty pair of clippers and I just got them today not even 4 hours ago. they did not use clean tools or even switch them out. I have never in my life received an infection from a nail salon until I tried this one and I am actually really upset, angry, and scared about this infection getting worst. I didn't realize how unfinished they really were until I got a better look and noticed my finger starting to hurt when I got home. I paid almost $200 for mine and my daughter's nails as well as pedicures. Save your money and don't risk getting an infection, go somewhere else like a nail masters. Unless you're getting just gel or shellac done I would recommend going to a better quality nail salon. I now have to spend more to go get them fixed. read more

These folks need to clean up their act. Arrived a few minutes before my appointment to choose colors for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. As I walked in, the staff were on their phones and were surprised as they had me down only for a pedicure. Felt rushed as they wanted to do my nails while I getting a pedicure. They put a manky bed pillow with a stained pillowcase with a stained towel on the chair rest (and half on my lap). The woman stood while doing the world's fasted gel manicure - wasn't the worst gel manicure but there were two cured bubbles in the polish and the tips were rough. The pedicure was done by a young man. The nails look good but the hot stones he used were way too hot, I shrieked, and the stone went flying. Accidents happen but this was preventable. On another note, they have over 1,000 bottles of polish tacked up on the walls and on every ledge - felt like I was in a hoarder house. Wish the employees would do a massive spring cleaning, dump 75% of the polish bottles, and never do manicures and pedicures at the same. I will not be going back. read more

My usual gal was out and I really needed to get my nails done. I called Tina's based on the reviews I read and gave it a try. They got me in fast. (Wednesday Afternoon) At first I was a bit nervous as it seemed the first gal was shoving me off on another in a haste. I landed in Kim's chair. She was very gentle and did a great job. I have the hardest time getting techs to do very short acrylics, she had no problem. I am so far very happy with her work and if they last as long as my other techs I will be back. I was a walk-in at Tina's. I got a basic pedicure which was amazing. And I cannot wait to go in for their deluxe! I had my 8yo daughter & 4yo son with me, Tina & her staff were so accommodating & sweet. They let my son pick 2 colors for my toes & determine the pattern they were painted As far as my manicure, I had a not great ombré already on, my middle finger on my right hand had been ripped almost completely ripped of & hurt badly. Tina herself took the time to gently remove it after it soaked while I had my pedicure. While in her shop my index finger & thumb nail both broke. Tina was so sweet, she did a new color fill & repaired my 3 nails. She only charged me for a fill & made my nails so gorgeous! I've been receiving complaints everywhere! Really on the fence about whether or not to give this place another shot. I enjoyed it the first time I went. The second however wasn't great. I'd say you probably are best served having an appointment and choosing your technician if you like one. I came as a walk in (as I've always done for nails) and was given this older lady. She was fine, about what you'd expect as far as conversation and politeness goes. However, when she went to file my pinky she did it so aggressively with the nail file side edge that she cut me. With a nail file. I didn't even know that was possible. Then she tried to blame it on my nails saying they are too short. She then preceded to spray alcohol on my fingers to clean them off which stung like a mother-- in the cut. I had a french shellac done on my fingers and just a gel polish change on my feet. The shellac manicure was only 1 layer of each-base, color, topcoat, no capping of the tips...so of course it chipped the next couple of days. For the feet, she asked me after painting the last toe if I liked the color. Of course I'm not going to say anything that late in the game. It was too light, but these are nails- talk about 1st world problems, so I just let it go. Speaking of 1st world problems, she never did the hand/arm massage. I finally asked for some hand cream or oil when she was scooting me out the chair with my bill, because my alcohol sprayed hands were super dry and flaky looking at that point. She slapped some on, and rang me up. All in all, it cost me $74 for a really subpar experience. read more

My first time here. I made the appointment two days ago And was told when I got there only two techs did white tips and the tech I was with has only been there two weeks. There is no music and the salon seemed very drab. Their color selection was very good however. I had to put on my headphones because a customer behind me lacked manners and was having some loud cell phone conversations that the whole room could hear. They should not let customers behave that way on their phones. I think my nails did turn out good however and I will probably try a few more places around where I actually live. read more

These guys were awful they have a menu that says they offer a kids manicure and pedicure for 12yrs and younger when I told them my tall 12yr old was 12 they refused to honor their kids rate for my daughter and as a group laughed and the guy flat out said to me "nobody believes it" I literally pulled up my Facebook page last year wishing my daughter a 12th birthday which is something I shouldn't have had to do. I think when you offer a service to the public you should be aware of the fact that various races of people come in a variety of shapes and sizes. When I scheduled my appointment I did not know about their lower kids rate I didn't mind paying full price so it was not about a discount. Kids have enough to worry about and don't need the rude public telling her she's abnormal. They were also incredibly rude and rushed through the service. Everytime I asked for something additional they said "that'll be an additional $15" I would say that's ok and with wide eyes the response was "that's ok?" I don't know what they expected from us but this service was a sad reminder that this country has a long way to go when it comes to racial prejudice. I literally feel like crying because of how they made us feel just sad we're not any further along in our love, respect, and care of each other. I got eyebrow and lip wax, full set with shellac, and pedicure with shellac, daughter had manicure and pedicure both with shellac and I paid more then I've ever paid for these services at $215 read more

I understand she wants more clients but she is failing the customers she has. I agree with the other review she does not practice good hygiene between and during clients.
