Another major issue is the lack of consistency with doctors. Whenever there is a good doctor who actually listens and provides quality care, they don't stay long and end up leaving. This constant turnover makes it difficult to build trust or maintain continuity of care.

I went to the desk had to cancel my appt because I had to pick up my granddaughter from school. The gal at the desk said I should make my appointments first thing in the morning because by 10 she is running behind. I made an appt for 8:15 and was out within a hour. I can't always make early appointments. She is over booked so any appointments around 10 and later will have to wait hours to be seen? This is ridiculous. No complaints on the office staff.

Waited about 20 minutes and called back. All vitals taken and brought to a room for the PA to come in. Thankfully, the PA Jessica was kind, easy to talk to and wants me to get updated blood work at Quest. See her in a month. It's only the first experience, but, so far, she seems really good! Dr. Nanra over saw my care while I was there and said if anything comes up come and see us. I decided to take him up on his offer today when I woke up to some questionable symptoms. They had me in and out within an hour (unheard of for urgent care as busy as them, especially with them also being a primary care clinic.) the clinic is clean, the staff is friendly and they are very on top of it. The doctor listened to my history and what led up to today and took all of that into consideration with his treatment options. I will definitely be returning here for my urgent care needs. I'm happy that I have the option to go here if anything urgent arises and know that they care about their patients. Thank you golden state!!!

They also did an X-ray and found that I had pneumonia. The doctor was very helpful and did his very best to treat me. He gave me antibiotics, and I am forever grateful. The medical assistant and doctor were both easy to talk to and I really appreciated the doctor's calm and knowledgeable demeanor. One of my visits was for a moderately embarrassing issue and the doctor and MA helped me feel comfortable and I didn't feel any sort of judgement from either of them. My concerns were addressed both times I visited this urgent care and my issues were resolved. This isn't the closest UC to my house at all (I don't even live in this city!), but if time allows, I would absolutely choose this office again. I was the only one at the office on a Friday evening, so I saw the doctor pretty quickly. She was very thorough, knowledgeable, kind, and caring. My mom was an RN who taught in a school of nursing, my dad was a conscientious objector in WW Ii. He wound up serving as a medic. In the years of early. childhood there I was, in several rehab type facilities! Learning to walk with long leg braces and crutches. And in those years as I grew into adolescence I met scores of them. It felt like platoons of doctor soldiers marching in on me. To say such things as, "We'll. be seeing you in surgery tomorrow at 7 a.m." After that I interacted with countless physicians, and possibly scarred a bunch of doctorly egos. I was an awful patient because I so much wanted to be back home, exploring the field, the stream, the small forest on the hill behind our house. For a couple of years it was nothing but swarms of white jackets, PTs and exercise gear. With the occasional visit to the OR again. Hardly ever more outdoors other than getting from one building to another. Now I think of myself as a capable doctor critic. So to me Dr. Samrao is an ok physician. I didn't get a warm sense of caring from him, and maybe that's just him pulling away from his practice as he retires. That will be quite a change for him, in which I wish him well.
