Dr. Nanra over saw my care while I was there and said if anything comes up come and see us. I decided to take him up on his offer today when I woke up to some questionable symptoms. They had me in and out within an hour (unheard of for urgent care as busy as them, especially with them also being a primary care clinic.) the clinic is clean, the staff is friendly and they are very on top of it. The doctor listened to my history and what led up to today and took all of that into consideration with his treatment options. I will definitely be returning here for my urgent care needs. I'm happy that I have the option to go here if anything urgent arises and know that they care about their patients. Thank you golden state!!!

The scheduling system is very unorganized, appointments get mixed up, rescheduled, or handled inefficiently, which creates unnecessary stress. Another major issue is the lack of consistency with doctors. Whenever there is a good doctor who actually listens and provides quality care, they don't stay long and end up leaving. This constant turnover makes it difficult to build trust or maintain continuity of care.

Which is violation of insurance provider contract. Today I get an explanation of benefits for treatment I did not rendered and PUC charged my insurance $500.00 and received a payment from my insurance for $200.65. Despite the provider stating their weak explanation for their actions this only proves my point they put business before patient care. This was no accident, despite being denied treatment, they turn around and bill my health insurance company for services NEVER rendered . That is bad billing practice. I am taking my complaints to the Better Business Bureau and my insurance company. I would seriously think about taking your business to Premium Urgent Care. And Sonya L business manager here is my personal message to you. Return your payment of $200.65 back to my insurance company. They also did an X-ray and found that I had pneumonia. The doctor was very helpful and did his very best to treat me. He gave me antibiotics, and I am forever grateful. The medical assistant and doctor were both easy to talk to and I really appreciated the doctor's calm and knowledgeable demeanor. One of my visits was for a moderately embarrassing issue and the doctor and MA helped me feel comfortable and I didn't feel any sort of judgement from either of them. My concerns were addressed both times I visited this urgent care and my issues were resolved. This isn't the closest UC to my house at all (I don't even live in this city!), but if time allows, I would absolutely choose this office again. First the good... the wait was only about an hour between the time I walked in until the time I…read moresaw a doctor. For most urgent cares thats pretty good. Now the not so good.... The receptionist was not friendly, welcoming, or minimally kind. I could see that I had interrupted her from doing her homework at her desk and I felt like I was treated as a bother to her. Actually the biggest issue I I had with my visit was privacy and confidentiality. The exam rooms are not rooms at all. They are just curtains. I didnt see any exam rooms with doors and four walls. You expect that in an ER at a hospital not a doctor's office. After I sat in the exam room waiting to be seen for 30 minutes. I could hear the doctor with another patient - someone who had come in to the waiting room and was filling out paper work when I was called to the exam room. I know that in a medical environment some patients need to be seen sooner than others. Its not neccesarily a first come first serve environment. Problem is that I know this patient's complaint was not pressing because I could hear the doctor tell her, "this is the most common thing we see in here". I pulled back my curtain because I thought maybe the staff forgot about me. When I did, the medical assistant sitting about 50 feet away admonished me for not keeping my mask on. I saw the doctor a short time later and was careful to keep my voice down as I spoke to him about my personal medical issue. He didn't do the same. This urgent care is as bare bones as you can get. Smiles, common courtesy, and privacy are scarce at Willow Urgent Care.
