I received a text stating that my prescription was ready and wishing me a nice day. I was discharged without anyone explaining my X-ray results or discussing the next steps for removing the needle from my foot. I understand that emergency departments are busy but patients still deserve clear communication and to know the results of their tests before being discharged. This experience left me feeling frustrated, dismissed, and very concerned about the quality of communication regarding my care.
