These are among the best outlets with superb prices. there is plenty of parking and the stores open early. January is the slowest month here. There are lot of great dining places around and most of the shops have cost effective deals. Pants were on sale for $19, shoes from $59, men trousers for $19 . Is this a full fledged outlet, or is this a regular mall with SOME outlet stores? I'm very confused. I'd been shopping here before, so it wasn't exactly a new experience, but I guess I never really paid attention before, because today, I was really really confused. The place is pretty much divided into four different sections (as far as I can tell), with a movie theater smack dab in the middle of everything. Everything was so spread out that, to get from one store to another, it felt like I was out on a hiking mission more than anything. Luckily, this *mall* wasn't busy at all on a Wednesday, so we just drove from one section to another... But as we were passing the stores, we just had to ask ourselves.. "Is that a Hurley OUTLET store, or a regular Hurley store?" and so on and so forth. The clothes didn't seem any cheaper than at the retail stores back home, at any rate. The food court was an absolute joke. There are maybe five different choices (chinese, other asian, hot dogs, cheesesteaks, pizza) and a cafe of sorts. Granted, the samples that they all gave out were pretty damn tasty, but still. Don't we all like choices? Whatever the case, I'm just glad it wasn't crowded. Sure, there were plenty of shoppers, but it definitely wasn't swarming with people. We got to browse in peace without having to bump elbows with every last person in the store. On the bright side, they have a pretty good assortment of stores, from higher end to lower end. I personally don't think that the prices at most of the stores were all that great (supposedly outlet prices, right?), but then again, prices weren't atrocious, either. read more

Pretty good stores! There's AG, Joe's, Seven, Rock & Republic, BCBG, Giorgio Armani, Michael Kors, Theory, Cole Haan, Coach, Kenneth Cole, Calvin Klein, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Banana Republic, Betsy Johnson, etc. Stop by the management office to get coupons with a triple A card. I bought seven items, great deals too. The food court is pretty parse, we had lunch and then came back during a break for iced coffee and churros. Best to arrive early, park in the center and make the rounds, so you can drop bags off in the middle. We were here all day, left at 9 am and got home after 4 pm. I would definitely recommend it. 4.5 rounded down, due to the food court should be premium too. read more

If you had a choice between Desert Hills Premium Outlets and Camarillo Premium Outlets, which would you pick? 1. Camarillo has the only Off Fifth Saks Ave outlet in Southern California that carries high-end products such as Marc Jacobs, Gucci, Dior, and Louboutin. The location at Desert Hills does not. 2. Camarillo also has the nearest Neiman Marcus' Last Call outlet from Los Angeles. Deserts Hills does not. 3. Camarillo also just opened a huge ass Forever 21. Desert Hills did not. THIS PLACE IS AN ABSOLUTE GOLDMINE! I was beyond impressed when we pulled into one of THREE parking lots (free!) for these outlets... Because there are SO MANY STORES... Which means, so many sales! With my phenomenal willpower though, I can easily walk by tons of sales... However, at one point, I said to my fiancé: "now if there were a Lululemon Outlet here, GAME OVER." Well I think the ECONOMY ANGELS heard me because... BAM, a Lululemon Outlet popped up right in front of my face! The discounts at Lululemon were HUGE!!!!! Up to 75% off on some items for sure. However, I have to emphasize HUGE once again because a lot of the sizes were 8s, 10s, & 12s... That being said, I did manage to walk out with two SEXY bras that were 50% off! As for the other sales... A lot of it was "50% off the second pair" or "50% off the lowest ticket price on the item" = WHICH KICKS BUTT!!!! Oh and if you're a GOLF FREAK like my fiancé... There is a Taylor Made store here that even sells discounted CLUBS (and has a mini putty green... Perhaps something the men can play on as the women blow their savings?). Any who... This place was SO WORTH DRIVING TO (it took about an hour or so to get there from Hollywood) and we drove back at 5pm rush hour traffic, which took maybe an hour and fifteen minute... My wife and I love walking around outlet malls because of all the fresh air. The selection of stores at the Camarillo outlet isn't bad at all. On our last visit we hit up Disney, Northface, Tory Burch, Aldo, Under Armour and Wetzel Pretzels. I'm glad they have plenty of parking and the day we went it wasn't too busy even though it's so close to Christmas. Also the abundant selection of places to eat at nearby when you get hungry from all the shopping are awesome! read more

Camarillo is a pretty large outlet - one of the bigger outlets I have been too. They have plenty of stores to fit whatever your shopping needs might be. It has 3 different section which you will have to drub between but that is a minor inconvenience. They have plenty of bathrooms so that is a plus. The one letdown is the food court which is a letdown. As it is an outdoor outlet the summertime shopping can be pretty tough. I prefer the fall and winter time shopping. Overall a great stop along the 101 on your way to LA and heading up to Santa Barbara. read more

Maybe because this place is only 15 minutes from me and I've been over this place since it opened, but it's nothing that special to me. The prices aren't all that great compared to a regular sale. The parking (which this place has a HUGE lot) is still crazy. It's mostly crowded during the weekend (almost a ghost town during the week). There are some nice stores that I like out here, like the Kenneth Cole outlet, Nike outlet, and the Hugo Boss. I haven't gone here to personally shop as of late, because I don't like the crowds and haven't had a chance to go during the week. SHOP TIL YOU DROP! This Simon mall has pretty much everything you can imagine here in Camarillo. Pretty busy. Clean. Feels like a safe environment. Security visible (and has a 'checks' system I observed - where they appear to scan stores as they go by - to prove they have been on patrol (or reporting purposes)) I don't worry about my car getting broke into or anything here (Though I hope a news report does not come up invalidating that statement!) Got some screaming deals this weekend. I'd always show caution however with up-prices and 'outlet only' items. Up to you to know if it's a featured item, older style, really a deal or serious discount. The outlets aren't the game as they were when the concept was introduced, but still a good value depending upon what your after. read more

We drove into the parking lot and thought it was our lucky day because it was absolutely empty and there was no traffic on the way there. We didn't have to fight with anyone for a parking spot. I've never been to Camarillo so I looked up what they had here and they seemed to have a good selection of stores. After about an hour of shopping reality hit us--I guess we didn't get the memo that there was nothing exciting worth buying here-that's why the place was empty. Don't get me wrong they do have stores that I love, but everything looked picked over and it's not even Black Friday yet! WTF. Camarillo why can't you be like your sister outlet Cabazon?? Ciara G and I had a fun shopping day at Camarillo Premium Outlets today! After a fast stop at the food court to get some nourishment at Pyro's (teriyaki chicken, veggies, rice) we were off and running through the stores. Before I knew it, several hours had gone by and we had gone through: Aeropostale Fossil The Gap Ugg Aldo Calvin Klein Kenneth Cole Esprit Banana Republic Le Creuset Bass Lucky Brand Carter's OshKosh Restoration Hardware I've never been in a Restoration Hardware outlet store, so that in particular was fascinating. But the most productive shop for me today was the Fossil store - where I got an awesome deal on a new purse and coordinating coin purse! Some of the stores definitely needed a lesson in outlet store pricing. But others had good sale racks, and extra percentages off. It takes some digging, and some dedication for sure, but it was a lot of fun during the process. Oh, and Wetzels Pretzels are always a nice little reward after a lot of shopping : P. read more

Of all the outlets I've been to, I like this one the best. It's so spacious yet isn't packed with an egregious amount of ppl for the entire duration of opening hours. Same stores as Cabazon here with sales in so many stores with extra vouchers/coupons. Plenty of spaces in the lots for parking. Be prepared to walk if you wanna do some real shopping, just remember where you parked. read more

Is this place really worth the 1 hour drive from SGV to Camarillo?? Definitely. The place is spaced out spaciously (unlike the cramped layout like Citadel) and the people are friendly as there is plenty of elbow room to walk around and remain comfortable in your social bubble (unlike the rude people like Cabazon). There are plenty of shops to tickle many interests and they are nicely spaced out to allow ample parking. The only thing this place lacks is a Volcom store. Oh, and if you're lucky, you might see a quick dispute of vulgarity over parking spaces (much like Cabazon)! Grab your car-friendly snack and sit idly and have a gander. read more

I don't know why I keep coming here. I spend a good 45 minutes to drive here and I rarely find anything I like. Oh that's right, this place has high end fashion for a "bargain". I tend to come here with people shopping for purses and they can never get enough of Coach bags. It's like a new one every month for them. /sigh I usually do walk away with atleast a couple things when I go but truth to be told it's not worth the hassle if you're driving in from LA. Just go to the mall and walk the clearance aisle for the stores you're shopping for. It's probably all for the best that I didn't get to this outlet mall until 7pm: there's only so much damage I can do to my Visa card in two hours. We spent most of that in the Nike store, which is pretty much like every other Nike outlet store. Then we squeaked in a visit to the New Balance outlet, which was fabulous, and those are harder to find than the Nike stores that seem to be in every outlet mall these days. But that barely scratched the surface of what this mall has going on, because it is is MASSIVE. It is basically three entire outlet malls side-by-side, with a big movie theatre in the middle. I saw a bunch of different stores I would love to go into, but I didn't have a chance. Even if you're an outlet connoisseur (are outlet malls something you can be a connoisseur of?) you will probably find stores here you haven't seen elsewhere. But then again, you may also find them and lose your car, because this place is so big I can't imagine how anyone could navigate it without getting in and out of the car constantly. read more

We stopped by here on our way home from camping out at Point Mugu and I am so glad we did! There's a Papaya store, Forever 21, Zumies, Coach, Vans, Charlotte Russe, and the list goes on (girls, I'm sure you can appreciate all these stores!). No matter who you're with, there is something at these outlets for everyone! I definitely wanna come here again because we didn't even get to hit all the shops we wanted to. Outlets used to be super cheap places where stores could send their left overs to get something for them. It was like a little secret that you only knew if you drove by Gilroy a lot. Then everyone caught on and outlets started blowing up. Then stores realized they could use this to their advantage. Now outlets are just stores. Just like any other store. They sell normally priced things and slap an "Outlet" label on the sign out front. If I go to Gap, a polo is $25. If I go to a Gap Outlet a polo is still $25. The difference is the psychological effect of the "Outlet" tag. It FEELS like I'm getting a greater deal because of the association with the word outlet. If you put a bunch of diamond rings in a bin, they'll sell even if the price on the bin is $2000 because we associate bins with deals. That's the concept at work here. Now, do the outlets have sales? Oh heck yes they do. For some reason they have a big Columbus day weekend sale. The discounts are almost as big as the discounts North American settlers got on land. Does this mean that the outlets are always a good deal? No, what it means is the outlets are becoming what Black Friday has become. The rummage sale of retail advertising. Lots and lots of crappy prices to sort through to find some gold. If you really want a great deal, pick your time and know when the outlets want to clear out merchandise. Otherwise, you're falling into a brilliant marketing trap. read more

It's nice to know that you can go to this outlet and find the premium brands that will offer value for your money. The outlet shops closest to Las Posas have the added benefit of some decent restaurants like Johnny Rocket, Panera, and Chipotles near the Cinema. Loads of clothing and shoe shops, like the large Forever 21, Vans, and Skechers stores stretch along in an arc with plenty of parking in this area which doesn't feel as hemmed in as the original outlet stores which have inadequate parking on weekends and Christmas shopping mayhem time. My out of town frineds love shopping here, and I can usually find a good deal at Forever 21 or Charlotte Russe. read more

Yes, it's crowded. Yes, you have to try hard to find true bargains. But to me, it's worth it to score stuff they don't have at my neighborhood Banana or Kate Spade store. My tip: go to the customer service center (in the same little hallway as the bathrooms near Le Gourmet Chef), show your AAA card, and get a VIP discount book. An extra 15% off Banana purchases over $100, extra 10% off at American Apparel, etc. Some new additions when I went last weekend were Restoration Hardware, J. Crew, and Kate Spade. I will say that compared to the Vacaville J. Crew outlet, this one SUCKS. No dresses or really any of the nicer stuff they have left from last season's catalogues (however, they did have a lot of cashmere). And the Restoration Hardware outlet doesn't allow returns. I despise stores that do that. In any case, I love stopping in for a quick trip through my half-dozen favorite stores. I can usually find a parking spot in the little part of the lot behind the Banana Republic outlet, and it makes for a quick and easy in and out, too. Happy shopping! read more

LOVE these outlets! Here are some of the stores they have: BCBG Brooks Brothers Coach Juicy Couture Michael Kors Sak's Fifth - Off Fifth Betsey Johnson Sunglass Hut GAP Banana Kate Spade Vans Cole Haan Max Studio Lacoste (to name a few) A lot to chose from. The only negative things I can point out are that during holiday weekends and weekends, this place is INSANE. Expect to circle the parking lots for a while before stepping foot in any of the stores. Also, things pretty much fly off the shelves and there seems to always be new stuff coming in, which is good, but the only problem is that you need to go in every so often to see what the store is carrying, because you don't always find great buys, so it definitely helps to live nearby so that you can stop in and check it out every now and then. read more

You better like to walk. To do a circle of all the stores at the Outlets is about two or more miles. But dang they have product! And at competitive prices. My faves are Skechers and Calvin Klein for my bff. If nothing else, it's a people-watching haven. People drive for miles to get here - and busloads of Japanese tourists are shuttled in from LAX to just go shopping. The prices are a steal compared to Tokyo. Can you blame them?! - And on the middle is a huge deluxe cinema center and the de riguer dining spots. You can even watch the private jets fly low overhead as they land next door at "the longest private runway" in Southern California. read more

I am not a huge outlet fan to begin with, but I do have a few stores I like. I don't like the fact that the most of the stores I frequented have, one by one, dropped from the face of the earth, so that I can't even benefit from them anymore (in an outlet setting)....... the most upsetting right now for me would be Harry & David, but there are others. Another aspect of outlet shopping that I don't care for is that the prices, while better, are not that much improved than regular department store prices. However, when I came here a couple of weeks ago, one of the store clerks told me about this VIP booklet where another 10-20% off might be considered (depending on the individual store terms). To qualify for the VIP booklet, you need to flash your AAA (Auto Club) card at one of the Customer Service desks. Last but not least, I also don't like some of the merchandise. While some of it may just be last year's trendy fashions, other items may be the total rejects or things they would never ever put on the racks......or just poorly made. That's always been the way these outlets work, but whatever......everyone comes here knowing what to expect........so we all sift through the junk to get the great deals. That's the problem for me....... I'm not a good sifter..... don't like the search. I want what I want right there in front of me, and well, it just isn't part of the outlet scene. Ehh, so I don't go very often. For me, I don't live all that far from the Camarillo Outlets, so if I go, I never feel like I spent a lot in gas to get here..... my only objection is how crowded it is and how difficult the parking can be. This is a large outlet mall - It spans across two lots and there were a ton of stores. We made a "quick" stop to the Camarillo outlets on our way back home from a visit to Los Angeles. Even though it was a bit out of the way (had to take 'the' 101 north instead of staying on 'the' 5), they had a couple of stores we don't have up north and it made it worth the extra few minutes drive (instead of the Citadel outlets right off of 'the' 405 that has stores we already have up here) - specifically, I wanted to hit up the 'theory' outlet and the lacoste outlet. A whole store filled with theory. I was in heaven. the outlet prices were decent, but i wouldn't say there were any STEALS. I got a 1/2 sleeve cashmere cardigan for $49. Pretty good deal.... Actually, in general, I didn't come across any SUPER HUGE deals, but all-in-all, there were some decent sales going on... The BCBG outlet sale did not compare to my experience at Folsom (the jacket my friend got for $25 was still $75 on sale in Camarillo)... The Lacoste outlet had their normally priced $80 polos for $59. Their sizes were limited and for the most part, the colors were hideous. I do not want to dress up my husband in hot pink or hot pink and yellow horizontal stripes... or fluorescent green.... nor would he ever allow it....some people can pull that off, but I would say the majority of the population cannot. The outlet itself was a zoo. I would equate the parking situation with holiday shopping season --- Every man/woman/teenager for him/herself ...ruthless parking (oh were you waiting for that spot? that's too bad, I'd rather ram into the front of your car while backing up to take the space from you that I technically already passed up... or .... let me just come screaming around the corner and not stop at the intersection because i saw a space in the next aisle over and I'm going to run everybody down (cars and humans) to get to it....) Some new stores are on the horizon and I would love to go back to visit them -- Michael Kors and Giorgio Armani (and others, but I can't think of them at the moment).... ooohhhh...aaaaahhhh They also had Coach, Aerosoles, Puma, Adidas, Clarks, Barneys, Banana Republic, Betsey Johnson, Zales, BCBG Girls, Calvin Klein, Ann Taylor Loft, Sony, Ugg (this was their outlet, but I scoffed when I picked up a pair of kids size classic shorts and the price tag on the bottom read 'Retail Price - $79.95, Outlet Price - $79.95' -- that was disappointing....and I also noticed there were a fair number of 'non-Ugg' brand shoes being sold in the store...) and there were a ton more, but you can go to their website and see the entire list.... Not a bad place to come once a year (I'm talking to you LA people). And not during holiday season! There are 3 major sections so you'll need to use your car for a more efficient shopping experience. The food court has a drab selection but there are places a few blocks away that are better. In n Out is close by for a high-caloric intake needed since you'll surely burn out at the outlets. Meh. Outlet shopping in general was semi-ruined for me when I was alerted to the disconcerting fact that most brands manufacture lesser quality clothes for their outlets stores. I checked the tags at BR and, lo and behold, they are specifically outlet-made. Lame. So as a rule, I only buy clearance rack with extra 40-50% off so regardless of quality level, I know I'm getting a deal dammit! I always start out at BR, and this one was a disappointment. The staff was awful (not even eye contact), and the deals were not so great. I didn't have loads of time, and after being soured on BR, I breezed through BCBG (nice stuff, still too expensive) and Barney's (total joke, even their clearance rack). I really wanted to check out Juicy Couture, but I decided to save my cash for the Nordstrom Rack and Loehmann's back in LA. Sigh! read more

I love how most people who come here complain about the enormity of this place and how much walking they need to do. Get it together Southern California. Camarillo outlets are doing us a favor by giving us a space place to walk around all day without the treachery of LA drivers. There are people in other cities that walk all the time. Calm yourselves and walk on. I love this place people it has almost every relevant brand in one area. There are 150 stores so you get anywhere from the cheaper brands to really high end stuff. There's really something for everyone. The deals are always better during holidays and Black Friday but beware that it gets cray cray with waiting in line to get into the lot, waiting to find parking, waiting to get into the store, and waiting to pay. You get the waiting point. Other than that the deals usually fall between 20-30% and 40% + if you're lucky. It's usually still a good enough deal to come to the outlets than shop at the malls. It's fun checking out so many stores at once, but you definitely have the be in the mood. I personally like going when it's not to crazy. I have space and time to parooze. Usually all the employees in all the stores are super helpful and cheerful. Why aren't the employees in LA like that? Unpretentious people who actually want to help. Parking is extremely easy when you don't go on busy weekend. I love the time before the holiday rush and right after Black Friday because you have time to shop and think about what purchase you want to make instead of tricking yourself that because you waited in line for so long you have to buy a large amount. I don't get the appeal of outlet malls. I walk in to these stores and I don't see many deals. This one is fairly nice. There is a large variety of stores to choose from and this outlet center is rather spread out into three very large sections. Parking is plenty, but it gets super busy on the weekends and during the holidays. As a matter of fact, try to stay away during the holidays. It gets way too crowded and there are lots of pushy people, and again, I don't think the deals are all that great. read more

This isn't my most favorite outlet in CA, but it's definitely got a few stores that you usually don't see elsewhere. Juicy Couture, Saks Fifth, and Barney's have outlets here. Pretty expensive outlets here, especially in the Main Court. Fashion Court does have a lot of cool outlets that I can usually hit up -- Guess, Gap, Nike, Kenneth Cole, DKNY, Adidas, Polo, etc. It seems to also be the more popular side. Oh and their Wetzel Pretzel. Always a stop for me when shopping here. Parking is horrendous on the weekends when they're at their busiest. You won't have any luck reparking, so make sure you're bringing comfortable shoes. read more

You know those disaster or alien invasion movies (i.e. Independence Day, War of the Worlds, Armageddon), where the roads and freeways are filled with bumper-to-bumper traffic because everyone is scared and running away? Well, this place was the exact opposite on Black Friday. Everyone was trying to get in! It was an absolute mess. That being said, I'm glad we parked further away where there were plenty of parking spaces available. Yeah, the layout is whack. Everyone was trying to squeeze into the "main" section where the more popular stores are located. It doesn't hurt to walk, people. Burn some calories. I guess people are too lazy after a 5k calorie-filled prior night of gobble gobble gluttony. I dislike shopping, and I loathe crowds. But in this case, shopping on Black Friday was inevitable. This was my first visit here, and I actually give this place the edge over Cabazon and Carlsbad. There were some brands that I hadn't seen anywhere else. Of course, it's all about your personal shopping preference. Overall, it's a nice stop if you're in the credit card sliding mode, especially going to or from Santa Barbara. read more

You have to shop around for the bargains. It's not like you go and every store has a bargain. I was there about four weeks ago. Now that I'm a better bargain shopper, i can tell when it's a good deal and a bad deal. Pretty much you have to go to the clearance rack to still look for a good deal. I found things at Ross that are better priced than the actual "outlet" store. I had to hunt and go through all the clearance racks on Gap Outlet just two find a good bargain like $3.00 and $6.00 blouses. To me that's what an outlet should be. Some of these places are ridiculous because the prices are more expensive or just as expensive as their retail stores. Not worth my gas nor my time. I will only go when I want to get distracted and feel like shopping to a huge brand name mall. That's all it is. When I need to impress someone who is into the ghetto coach crap then I will go there, because coach actually does have the bargains. So girls if you feel like spending your welfare check on coach purses go there and save yourself some extra bucks to buy your children something. Buy coach because you like it not to impress your ghetto fabulous friends that you can afford one. EWw I'm getting off the subject.. Outlet? Please. They shouldn't even call it that. I love shopping and I love outlets. We took that hour drive to Camarillo from L.A. to check this place out and wow 3 different sections! Downside is you can't walk to all of them. From the first one to the second one you have to drive and from the second to third you can walk. There's a great selection of stores, from Forever 21 (just a regular store, not outlet) to Michael Kors to Tory Burch. We got lucky and the weather was a beautiful high 70s. Which made it a great better place to browse around and check out new stores you've never been too. Tory Burch was like a shoe box, extremely busy and cramped. I walked in and immediately back out. Michael Kors was better, I got a nice one shoulder sweater and the fitting room associate was friendly. Our favorite store ended up being Watch Station, which we spent almost over an hour in because we couldn't make up our mind on which watch to buy since they had their Buy 1, Get 1 50% off. That always gets me. Thanks to my brother and his girlfriend I ended up with a new watch for my ever growing collection. We ended up going to Forever 21 even though it wasn't an outlet, but how can F21 be one when their prices are relatively low already? I honestly believe that even if it's the same store depending on their location the clothing is different, but I could be wrong. I did snatch a pair of ankle slacks ($10.99) and red blazer ($13.99) from here and they've become part of some of my favorite pieces. Great deal for the price! I don't know why outlets have to be in the middle of NO WHERE, but I'm willing to make the drive it seems. I have to compare this outlet to the one in Palm Springs since they are owned by the same company and have similar distances. First, I guess I should explain the type of shopper I am. I don't go to outlets to go crazy on GAP, Old Navy, Guess, DKNY, etc. These are brands that I think I can find cheap enough in malls and don't require a 2 hour driving time to find a good deal. The reason I go to outlets is to buy higher end brands at affordable (for me, anyway) prices. It seems like Asian tourists have the same concept as me as they like to buy Coach purses by the dozens. There's a LOT of overlap between the Camarillo and Palm Springs stores. In my opinion, the Palm Springs outlet has more high-end designer stores (i.e. Marni, Prada, Dior, etc.) I don't particularly buy from those stores, so I don't mind their absence as much. The weather is far more cooler in Camarillo than Palm Springs, so it does have that edge. If you are looking to score REALLY high end stuff, than Palm Springs is the place to be. If not, then Camarillo is a much easier trip. There's plenty of parking and a good deal of restaurants nearby. read more

I called the outlet phone number and automated system said they were open so we drove over an hour and when we got there not one of the stores my family wanted to go into were open , I think 4 stores were open out of all of them we were really disappointed, the system should have said to check individual stores . I wasn't to happy read more
