Stop by today and was told that if we applied for a credit card i would get a 35% discount. Because of the weekend they claim that it wasn't approved so could not get the 35% discount yet I could charge the items I was buying on this supposedly not approve credit card. Both the cashier and the site manager refused to honor the 35% discount and only offer 15%. What absolute false advertisement. They probably get a commission. For every credit card application they turn in. To sum it all up y they could not cancel the credit application and now stuck with a credit card I would never use. There was a time that Gap had some of the best sweat shirts/hoodies you could ever find yourself in. They were so comfy - relatively trendy - and prices, well a little on the high side, but not out of reason compared to other brand names. Fast forward several years and what would have probably been a solid four star review is now a pretty solid three star review. Not that their stuff isn't good, the quality is pretty good overall. It's just their stuff really doesn't provide any kind of wow factor. Could be that they are now linked with several other places (I think Old Navy and Athleta). Staff here, I haven't had any interactions, since there were no purchases so I can't comment on how they treat the customers. Haven't heard any complaints so probably at least average. I'd come in here again, but wouldn't go out of my way to check them out. read more

The Gap Factory Outlet in Camarillo is one of those few outlet stores that really has outlet prices. You can pick up clothes for everyone in the family at this one location since they have sections for men, women, boys, girls, and babies. I love the selection, quality, and prices of the women's clothing staples like jeans, pants, shorts, sweaters, t-shirts, tank tops, workout clothes, and pjs. They always offer sales and sometimes discount coupons. Today, I grabbed women's super soft tank tops for $6.49 each and workout pants for $16. My toddler got a romper for $8.99. It wasn't a big haul day but those are hit and miss here. Some days, I can buy a small wardrobe for less than $150. Overall, this place is worth a drive. We also like the Citadel Gap Factory Outlet too. Seems like the stock is similar in both locations. Returns only can go back to an outlet so I suggest trying everything on before you buy. Don't forget to ask about discounts. Ask about buying a reusable bag and save 10% every time you use it. Oh and parking is plentiful here. You do not have to walk far since there are always open spots only yards away from the store. Today we noticed front row parking at 1pm. read more

This is one of my favorite Gap Outlets! They always have a large number of items in stock and have things that are sometimes cuter than even the regular Gap store. The location itself is pretty big. Hit or miss on if is messy or clean in there. Usually clean, but can get pretty messy. The employees can be difficult to find, but maybe that's just my problem. Parking can also be really tough, but if you're willing to walk then it's totally fine. read more

This place always has the best sales. I never leave empty handed. I'm not a big fan of their jeans, although their kids jeans are really nice and fit my daughter well. I like their tops and their workout clothes. I especially like their cropped foldover pants. I'm short so their regular pants would be way too long, but their crops fit perfectly. They are good quality and affordable. read more

This place is a mad house. It is much larger than the Gap Outlet at Cabazon. There are sections for men, women and children. The items are basically the same as at other outlets, but there is a bit more space to shop here. The store gets packed with people and everyone seems to be running around like chickens with their heads cut off trying to find some good deals. Gap is the middle of the road brand between Old Navy (cheap made, cheap looking clothes) and Banana Republic (the higher end brand). Gap is a standard brand, but the outlets sell specially made merchandise just for the outlets. read more

I ordered something for a Christmas gift on Black Friday, they never delivered it than gave me attitude when I called about it saying there is a chance it can arrive a month later, like uhm I just explained to them more than once it was a Christmas gift! I've been a few times and it looks like a regular Gap and has decent prices, I guess -- I don't comparison shop. Plus, there's a Baby Gap attached. I've gotten a lot of clothes and spent a lot of money, but they've got me fooled into thinking I'm saving so I must be! Will definitely drive 51 miles again for this Gap Factory! This location lives up to the good quality&cute styles while maintaining awesome deals! Staff is very helpful and kind! I came over at 1pm on a holiday weekday and the store was impeccable;everything was very organized and neat. Not like other chatoic outlet stores. Long lines go by SO fast!! Don't be intimidated. This bitch ass manager named Amy is so unhelpful and super rude to her staff and customers, makes me not want to shop here. She made it a very unwelcoming environment for me as a customer, i can't imagine how her staff feels. She's definitely not cut out for retail... in other news the rest of the staff was very helpful! Comfortable sweatshirts and decent pricing. I purchased most of my sweaters here and a variety of my daughters clothes. The only bother is the long lines and two people on the register and all the associates on the sales floor folding clothes for some reason if you pay card they take you right away with cash I waited and had 3 people pass me up to pay with card. While shopping for back to school clothes, my daughter saw a cute pair of overalls in the window. They didn't have her size on the rack and can't tell us if they will get more in. Ironically there are two that are her size in the window but they won't sell them from the display. They didn't offer to locate them elsewhere so I have to hunt them down and drive to another city if I want them. Why display a product you don't have in stock? Marketing 101, promote what you have in abundance and don't drive your customer away. I made three request to buy what you have in stock. One to the sales associate and two to the manager. As far as a back to school grade, you get an F for failing to meet the needs of the customer. read more

Not sure if I'm a fan of the Gap Outlet anymore...I bought a vest there not too long ago and it was the same price as online and in the other Gap stores...I was confused...completely. I went to the sales rack and found clothes that had holes in them or had dark spots. I showed it to the clerk and they said "thats why it's on sale" and walked away...I laughed a little...but left still. If I'm going to pay full price for Gap things I'd rather go to the Oaks and buy it there where I get better quality (no holes are marks) and better service. read more

Hit the clearance sales and you'll end up buying everything in the store. They are practically giving the clothes away. Don't forget to look in the piles all around on the floor because there is good stuff in them piles, cause nobody goes through them. I love Gap clothing. But, giving an "A-OK" rating because of my Gap credit card experience. During my last visit, the cashier told me about their Gap card promotion. I asked if it was a regular Gap card or a VISA. He said it was a regular Gap card. When I signed the receipt, I noticed that the receipt said Gap VISA and I asked the cashier about it. He said not to worry, that he's not sure why, but sometimes the receipts say VISA even though it's a regular Gap card. What arrived in the mail today? A Gap VISA card. So, I paid the balance and cancelled the card. If he would have been honest in the first place, I wouldn't have opened this account. I didn't want a VISA card. read more

This place is an absolute madhouse right now. Staff is flowing like water all around, and the customers are fitting clothes in the aisles. For the number of people here, though, the store looks pretty good. They'd have five stars if it wasn't for the leak in the ceiling and tubs for water on the floor. All in all, great experience, helpful staff. I'd come back if I needed something more, but I think we're about to drop about $600, so it won't be soon. read more

Standard Gap Outlet but very non-standard Camarillo Outlet store. This store, they are consistent with the brand and the employees are friendly, even during weekends and holidays. Granted you go on the weekends later in the day and they can't fold fast enough and things look out of sorts but no different than other stores. read more

Be prepared to pay more than you would at Gap online. Gap factory clothes aren't as good of quality it seems as gap. I'll never go back.

Best Gap outlet I have been to so far. This is my go-to place for a yearly shopping trip to stock up on basics. It isn't as crazy crowded as Cabazon, there is a lot more to choose from and this time around, there were actually SALES on almost everything. I got some really nice V-neck T-'s for $6 and some really nice bootcut jeans for $27 (50% off), along with other really cute things that averaged 30% off. In total, I saved about $100 and didn't have to wait in a 20 minute line, which is what Cabazon averages. Nice, helpful staff too :) read more
