Although those days are long gone, and many of the stores that made it "premium" are no longer here, it's better than most. There are still some good deals. It's also fairly large so you'll spend a decent amount of time walking through every section. We're usually shopping for something specific -- today it's jeans for the husband. But we always end up with more than planned. :) We browsed through many of the stores, spending much of our time at Lucky Brand, Levi's, Lululemon, adidas, The North Face and Ralph Lauren. We got the best deal on jeans at Levi's and surprisingly found a nice lightweight sweater for him at Lululemon. We like to grab a light snack or drink treat while we shop. Wetzel's Pretzels is a favorite but today we discovered that Boba Time has joined the outlets! Overall, it was a really nice day. I realized when we left that I missed going to Pottery Barn! We'll need to start on that side next time.

JOE'S JEANS & SEVEN FOR ALL MANKIND ARE GONE!…read more I'm really disappointed because I drove down to Camarillo from Santa Barbara to go to Joes jeans and Seven jeans specifically. And yes, I checked the outlet website before I left for hours and it appeared that both stores were active and open. When I arrived, Joes was simply gone. I went over to the kiosk map to check and it was still listed in its usual location. But it had been replaced by another store, Reformation, I believe. An employee of the outlets walked by and said I looked confused and told me the map hadn't been updated in a minute. Disappointed, I then went over to Seven, which was also gone! Replaced by Fabletics, I think. The point is that Joes and Seven are still listed on the outlet website and they are still listed in the on-site kiosks as active stores. Not only am I disappointed that a few of my favorite stores are just gone like that, but I'm especially disappointed at the glaring lack of communication that lead to an entire afternoon being wasted. The outlets otherwise appear to be going down hill. I don't think I'll be back after this.

Toy Depot is filled with all kinds of toys, which is great. But, the employee working there wasn't very nice. After picking out a product I wanted to purchase, I couldn't locate where the checkout stand was and realized once I did, some guy was sitting there asleep! I had to make some noise for him to wake up so he could ring me up. What the heck?! I get the place was empty, but sleeping on the job??? To make matters worse, his attitude towards me was unacceptable. Seems like he was grumpy from me waking him up from his power nap. I gave this place 2-stars instead of 1-star because I found what I wanted there.

It's free ... less convenient .. yes! I am at The collection multiple times a week and it's a great addition to Oxnard. So many things to do and I love how clean it's kept. There are different happy hours at different shops. I think you can find affordable or more fine dining options as well. There's something for everyone! Oh and so many events. Not sure I'd be back for The Christmas tree lighting though because it was a madhouse.. it was cool to see though. There's just way too many people. I haven't had a bad experience. Staff at the multiple establishments are nice. There's plenty of charging stations for those with electric vehicles too.

With nothing really planned today, we took the scenic drive from SCV to Oxnard to finally explore this outdoor mall and have lunch. Very well-maintained and thoughtfully designed, it turned out to be a great experience! There's a good number of stores of different sizes to shop and browse, Target, Century Theaters, Bowlero, park/playground, community areas with games, restaurants and food court. After our lunch we decided to sit at the park area to enjoy the cool cloudy day while watching kids roll around in the grass, people with their dogs and families engaging with each other. After that and some shopping, we ended up spending more time that we expected to. There's more than enough parking all around the mall and in the Target structure. We plan on visiting more often.

The exterior facades were designed with a mix of architecture to give the effect of a village, not a monolithic samey-samey feel. We stopped by two weekends ago while hunting for decor supplies for our daughter's baby shower. My destination that day was Michael's. Dear Hubby headed for B&N to enjoy the periodicals section while I did my thing. That day I didn't have extra time, but I have shopped the Ventura Kohl's previously. There's also a Pet Smart and Sprouts in the plaza. Noted that StoneFire Grill took over for Macaroni Grill. Lots of palm trees grace the parking lot to remind you that you're in Southern California and near the beach.

And, once again, you know because these are Pottery Barn, they are very high quality so you are going to get a great lifespan out of what you are purchasing. This store has a little bit of everything. Home goods - like candles, blankets and pillows. Clothing primarily for women. Also jewelry, bags and hats. The store is bigger then it looks from the outside. I really enjoyed looking around and seeing all of the cute little treasures they have. The owners informed me that they will soon be moving just across the street so make sure to keep a lookout for that. Sounded like they could be moving in a month? Right now they are located in the shopping center in Camarillo by Yolanda's. They will hop right across to the center with the Ralph's. They loved looking at all the items in the store and were smitten by the wonderful scents as well. After we ate, we came back and they picked some rings they absolutely adored and some other kid's items. The employees, Karen and Liz were super sweet and gave each of my nieces a free heart balloon and offered them some sweet treats as well. It was refreshing to meet some kind and down-to-earth people working in an adorable shop who took some time to get to know and talk with their customers. I will be back soon!
