I had him install 2 vent, heater, light units for 2 of our bathrooms.Yes, we do have attic access. He seemed nice enough over the phone and thought the price was reasonable. I also thought he would complete the job in 1 day. Wrong. Day 1, he "installed" 1 unit after arriving at about 9am and then at 11 or 12 said he had another job to go to and left. Uh, what could I say. I wanted the job done. I had to take another day off of work the next day. After "installing" the second unit he then came down at noon and said he was done and had to leave for a "meeting" He was also leaving us to finish going up into the attic and attaching a 4 inch vent hose from each unit to the holes in the roof. He said it would be so easy. I though ok, I'll give it a try. Wrong again. I should have said STOP and finish the job, but I thought I could do as he suggested. Before leaving he upped his price too. The task was extremely difficult with the limited space to attach the hose and bend it upward to the roof which is probably why he didn't want to do it. I never dreamed I would end up doing what I did when employing an electrician. I did feel like a fool and was obviously being taken advantage of. I guess being female and over 50 put a target on my back. Well, my only satisfaction will be if you heed my warning about using Roger (Home Owner's Electric). Consumer beware.
