Very rude woman behind the counter. Will not return again. The place has stuff on the shelves that look like they may predate my birth.

The parking lot is small but I was able to find parking on a Saturday. I went in looking for some queso Fresca and some tacos. I was able to find a couple different cheeses to try. I also got some produce and ordered some tacos to go. The store has a good selection of cheese, drinks, tortillas, tostada shells, canned good and other basics. They also have pharmacy items. The tacos were lovely. I got some carne asada and chorizo and pastor. All were very good. I also got a Jamaica which is one of my favorite drinks. In the restaurant area there are also fresh baked latin pastries and baked goods. The service was great, easy to get in and out and the employees were friendly. I would return!

They don't grade printed menus that I saw but just the overhead digital display menus. They mostly serve tacos, tortas, burritos and have just a few plates dinners. I tried to order the Milanese de pollo but they were out, so I ended up getting the carnitas burrito, he ordered 3 lengua tacos also 3 chicharrones. . We did have maybe a 10 minute or less wait for our food. His tacos were served in corn tortillas, which he prefers. They were served with the meat, onions, and cilantro. My burrito had the meat, lettuce, tomato and rice. The chicharrones also came with limes We both thoroughly enjoyed our food, the meat was flavorful and juicy, although there was some Cartlidge still in my meat. Which I've heard is common for especially the way it's cooked. Definitely would come back for some tacos, burritos or tortas, maybe get it to go. Not very comfortable seating.

My go-to is the Hoss burger, because I love the onion rings and special sauce, but their steaks (ribeye and tenderloin) are also perfectly aged and fresh off the butcher block. This is a small deli with seating tucked away on a neighborhood street where you're guaranteed to be greeted with a friendly smile by someone willing to answer any questions you may have. It's an older building but they're serving up bistro quality food. The menu is written on the wall to the right of the register, but they also have a printout. If you're prone to decision overwhelm and don't want to order 14 things, you can also look at the menu on their website! If I lived in walking distance, I'd come here twice a week. They also sell beer, wine, salads, sandwiches, and chicken tenders and fried fish! Can you tell I'm obsessed with this place?!

I went to Pinegrove Deli with very little idea of what to expect and was happy with my choice. After intensely studying the menu I finally decided on the Ortega. I love chicken salad so jazz it up with some tabouli and put it in a pita and I'm sold! I also ordered a side of onion rings which were also good. There was a pretty long wait to order, I'm not sure if the kitchen was backed up or they were short staffed but it was drastic enough that some people left before ordering and regulars were mentioning the wait time was getting worse. I have nothing to compare it to but it was 12:30 on a Saturday so it might have also just been a rush.

Our new favorite…read more Coming from a larger international city with a huge selection of asian mega-grocery stores, we've been pretty disappointed by the options in this area. We've tried a couple of the local shops over the years and were mostly turned off. But recently, when we got a hankering for some homemade curries, marinades, stir fries, and such, we went on the hunt for something better and finally stumbled on Dinosaur. They aren't really "supermarket" huge, but far larger then the shops we've tried in the area. Plenty of shelf staples from a variety of cuisines, at decent prices. And a good selection of meats and produce that you won't find in the Winn-Dixies, Publixes, or Whole Foods in the area, and you can't simply order shipped from Amazon. As a "foody tourist" in a shop like this, I'm not entirely self sufficient. I can tell my galangal from my ginger, and my choy sum from my bok choy, but I still get lost trying to find or identify some things. The shopkeeper there keeps busy managing her store, and I don't expect her to play "tour guide," but she does try to be helpful and work past the language barrier when I come up with questions. The place is clean and pretty well organized considering the wide variety of foods and countries that are represented. A gold mine of exotic foods we can't find anywhere else.
