    Renee with the fur babies

Renee has been a blessing to myself and my two Golden Doodles - Love and Faith We recently moved to Cambria and they have gone through a lot of life changes with me these last few months and I wanted to find somebody that could help them adjust to this new life. Renee has helped all three of us.... my girls now have play time with other fur babies twice a week.... they LOVE her so so much I plan on Renee being part of our lives for a long time and I would recommend her and her services highly.

I can't say enough nice things about Renee! We came up to the area to tour the Hearst Castle and Renee took our Lola for the day. She kept us informed on how Lola was doing and sent pictures and videos. We picked up a happy and tired dog from all the walks and playing. Renee even gave us some good advice on how to get Lola to not pull when on her leash as she is a dog trainer. Thank you Renee!!

My husband and I unequivocally recommend Renee (Urban Cats & Dogs). Like others have mentioned, Renee first came to the house to meet Buster and make sure there was a good fit - for him and for the other dogs. Buster was an extremely nervous 2-year old rescue who needed lots of patience and reassurance. Renee sat down on the floor and waited for Buster to approach her. It didn't take long before he was comfortable enough to not just approach her, but he even started licking her tattoo as if he wanted to make sure she was OK. From that point forward, Buster was hooked. We're pretty sure Buster was convinced that HE was her favorite. From our perspective, Renee always made us feel like Buster was her favorite. In all seriousness, Renee is great with all the dogs in her care. She keeps a close eye on them, and if she noticed any changes in behavior or anything else, she immediately called to discuss. And she was available for all our our calls and questions. Buster has a very sensitive tummy. She helped us work to find a diet that works for him. When Buster tore his dew claw on a couple of occasions, Renee took it upon herself to keep his nails trimmed, then taught us to do it ourselves. The photos and videos Renee sends to her pet parents confirm how amazing she is with all the dogs. They adore her and they have a great time socializing with each other. Last, but not least, Renee's commitment to her own on-going training and knowledge is further reason to recommend her. Her vet-tech background, CPR and first aid certification means that you can trust her implicitly with your pet's care and well-being. We are so sad that she had to leave the Bay Area. She helped us find a great replacement, but we and Buster miss her so much.

Renee rules. She is very helpful and knowledgable with doggy care and is an excellent trainer/walker. Her ability to connect with each dog breed is incredible and rare to find. Her past experience in vet technician work definitely shows as her services really contain the full package. You want someone to trust with your pooch? She's your woman.

I tell people she just needs patience, and someone with dog experience. I had an out of town meeting for 5 days and I didn't want to leave her at home because if something went wrong I was an 8 hour drive away. I needed to board her for 2 nights because I was able to keep her at the resort the remaining days. I looked online and Vineyard was near town but definitely "in the country" if that makes sense. I had to drive up a one lane dirt road yet it was about 5 miles from my event. I scheduled a tour, and we showed up early with tennis balls. You see, my pup is crazy about fetch and about tug. If you throw a tennis ball, she'll be your friend. The owner was definitely a dog person, and my dog was definitely being particular, but we did the tour and then one of the woman followed us back and tried to get to know my Maisy and Maisy wasn't having it, that is until I gave the woman a tennis ball. Then Maisy was her bestie :) They don't have indoor outdoor kennels where dogs can relieve themselves outside - they do need to be taken out - there are alot of yards, and alot of dogs. They had a bone shaped swimming pool, toddler beds for the dogs to sleep in (if they aren't destructive. You can order a kong, play time, pool time on top of the walks and other outdoor time. If your dog is daycare ok, I think that is part of the boarding experience. Mine isn't so she had 1-1 time with one of the guys who wore her out playing catch. She also got to go swimming. The price was really reasonable and 100% recommend this boarding kennel because my Maisy was happy to see me when I picked her up, but from the pictures they sent, she also had a great time at the kennels.

The staff at Vineyard are phenomenal with obvious love and care for all animals. communication is a breeze via a variety of means with a willingness to accommodate any special needs your pup(s) may have. This past Halloween Leo and Blossom were Miss Piggy and Kermit so as Kermit would say "with good friends, you can't lose" or as we would say "with Vineyard Kennels, you can't lose".
