The coupons I had were not working and the sweetest and cutes cashier named Luis was so pleasant, friendly and patient. He did not make me feel bad that their coupons were not working and that a line was forming because of it. He took care of it and made sure my receipt was correct! Very appreciated! Also, shout out to the nice lady in the meat department who packed up the last 4 strip steaks so I could get the sale price of a max pack! She graciously offered to do it even though I did not ask. So nice! The store was busy and yet these two served me as a valued customer and I very much appreciated it!

One human being to check a person out with more than 15 items is beyond cruel. Surprisingly, Bel Air wine prices are less expensive than the Rancho Cordova Costco's wine selection! Moreover, the Clos De Bois wine collection is on sale, i.e., I stocked the wine pantry for at least, six months. Finally, I finished shopping for six months: I'm absolutely relieved the arduous task completely stocking my pantry has now been completed.

The employees are super friendly, there are enough…read moreemployees there that you're not waiting around for anything, there's always someone bagging while the checker works, there are NO self checkout lines (I can't stand self checkout), and you don't have to enter your phone number into anything in order to get the sale prices. In the rare occasions when I'm not able to find something I wanted, it's because it's something so obscure I wind up having to either ordering it online or making a trip to some hidden specialty store in the Bay Area to get it. I've been shopping here for a couple of years. There's another grocery store that's five minutes from my house, but I drive the 20 minutes to shop here because the overall experience is so much better. Today's trip really stood out to me because of a couple things... while I was at the deli waiting for the clerk to work on my order, at least three other employees came up to me and asked if I was being helped. I've been to other stores where I've stood at a counter for literally 5 minutes, watching employees going out of their way to not acknowledge me. That never happens here. Then I was really taken aback by how the peppers and mushrooms were displayed. The fact that whoever stocked these mushrooms took the time to turn every mushroom cap side up and arranged all the portobellos the way they are speaks to a dedication to quality work. You can tell that in this store, nobody half-asses anything, and the employees take pride in what they do.

Nugget Markets is basically the bougiest grocery store chain in the greater Sacramento area…read more All of the packaged deli foods perpetually look like they were chopped within the past thirty minutes, the bakery section looks like an actual high end European bakery, the floors are clean enough to eat off of, and the associates all seem happy with their jobs. This particular Nugget has a fairly large upstairs patio area with tables, chairs, restrooms, water bottle refilling station, microwave, etc. Lots of grocery stores in this area have a downstairs lounge area, but being upstairs (but still accessible via a ramp and elevators) gives it an extra edge. Plus you can't beat that view of the Mercedes dealership. The salad selection is some of the best I've seen anywhere, although they are very pricey at about $10/8oz (which is why I haven't actually tried one). I came here in search of some tampons that I couldn't find at Target, and was thrilled that this store carried small boxes of single sizes, versus the huge multipacks they had at Target. Thank you Nugget for doing a better job at procuring feminine health items than Target. As a bonus this store (like many others) is within walking distance of the wetland preserve.

Staff, including management, rarely acknowledge customers. No greeting, no eye contact, and no interaction at checkout. It's not about going above and beyond, it's about basic courtesy. A simple "hello" should be standard, especially from management. Really unfortunate for a neighborhood store.

I came in to return some cough drops that I bought at another Safeway, no receipt or Safeway account. Danielle helped me out and exchanged them for another type of cough drop with no trouble. Minus a star because the gas station seems to have many pumps out frequently and also runs out of gas completely about once a month. This Safeway also is missing many goods and amenities others have. Coinstar is non functional as of today 12/13/23

The crunchiness mixed with the sauce perfectly. It had a sweet and sour flavor that I loved. There were a lot of different options to choose from too sushi, poke bowls, dumplings, salads, hot food, and more. Everything looked fresh and well put together. The deli area was clean, well-organized, and easy to browse. I was originally thinking about getting a poke bowl, but Roderick from the deli was telling me some of his favorite items and I ended up trying the sushi instead. Glad I did because it was delicious. The employees were all really nice and welcoming. Shout out to Roderick and Mary for making the experience enjoyable, and Teresa the supervisor was really kind as well. Only thing I noticed was I didn't see any soy sauce packets or wasabi out when I grabbed my sushi. Usually I see those available, so maybe they just ran out for the day. But they seem to listen to the constructive feedback and brought back certain good brands and items which are popular and price competitive though not necessarily "nutritional". So fast forward to present day, it seems like an average grocery store versus a health food version of the Raley's chain grocery store. The grocery store is clean, modern, and well organized. Staff are approachable and helpful. Points of interest: they have a pharmacy, floral counter, sandwich counter (you can order custom made sandwiches) , deli counter (order deli food or sliced cheese and deli meats), self serve salad and soup bar, coffee and smoothie bar, wine counter (which is open certain hours), and an indoor lounge area where you can sit a spell and eat your purchased food and drink items. The parking lot has two brands of EV chargers. Tesla and EV Go. The Tesla chargers are at the north end of the lot under shade trees.
