We have lived here at Camden for 4 years now, it has been as pleasant as when we moved in. Thais helped us pick out the most beautiful apartment she is amazing but everyone else is amazing too. The staff is now family, our neighbors are close friends and with all the elegant events our leasing office puts together it's the perfect way to know everyone new and old in the building. There has never been any issues while living here, from the things you hear at other places like theft, trash, poor management etc. The team here is always on it, the construction in the Post Oak area and in the building have been completed, which just makes this building even more Beautiful !!!! The dog park is big an spacious half for large dogs and half for small. Residents are pretty good about picking up after their pups, parking is always easy as you get a free assigned spot on move in. Mail, laundry is always accepted into concierge. If you are expecting a package you can get it at anytime, which trust me comes in handy. Upon move in they treat you really special and it lasts until move out. We are so so sad to be leaving Camden but we spend more weeks in Austin than at home, therefore it's time for a move. If I could pick up this building and everyone in it, set it in downtown Austin, I WOULD in a heartbeat. Luckily I have met some of the best uptown ladies that I now call my best, so I'll definitely be in and out as if I have never left. Camden Post Oak Apartments is a great option because of Fazii. She's an example of how an agent can play such a huge role in your decision when choosing where to call home. I came in for a tour with my sister around 5pm and Fazii was still very upbeat, engaging and ready to give us a tour despite it being the end of the day. She showed us all the amenities then brought us into the apartments for the viewing. The one bedrooms are pretty huge with ample space for anyone who may work from home. The bathrooms were decently sized, as well as the closets. The hallways were quiet, which was nice because who wants to live in noise and chaos. She really took her time to explain why Camden would be a good choice for me. While I did go with another apartment (I'm afraid of heights and didn't want to live in a high rise anymore), Fazii followed up with me via text and email and even after I told her I chose another location, she was still very personable. That exemplified how much she was willing to help me and wasn't solely focused on just signing a new tenant. Camden Oaks is a good choice for anyone who is ok with living in a high rise and wants a large space with quiet neighbors and an amazing view. Plus, they have valet and 24hr concierge and trust me, you can't beat that. read more

First visit favorable. Second visit zero. I left several messages and emails that were not returned. I went to a unit I was interested in, but the tenant next to the unit had a shopping cart outside the door. This leasing agent said it was acceptable. I was not impressed with her at all on my second visit, bad attitude, not professional. She also recorded my conversation, but she did not record when I told her it took 2 weeks for her to respond. I totally disagreed with any tenants leaving their personal items outside their unit. All personal items should be placed inside your unit, with no exceptions. read more

If you're looking to live in the Post Oak area make sure to swing by and check out their 2 bedrooms with the study that faces the entire city. Four words to describe this property...Best. Balcony. View. Ever. We've seen quite a few apartments and townhomes in the area and for sure this property has the best views starting from the 20th floor up. Got actually kinda woozy when I first walked in as we were on the 24th floor but got over it pretty quickly when I saw the view. The view overlooks Post Oak and you can see the city from the nicely sized balcony big enough (for two). You'll understand what this means if you check out the smaller units. Manage your expectations for the cost of this unit as it maybe a bit steep for the square footage for a 2 bedroom/2 bath/study, but ask if there are any specials, like it's posted on their website, and you might be able to reduce your lease payment by two months. Just remember, there's a view involved so you'll probably get over the rent pretty quickly. As far as service from beginning to end from the call center rep you make an appointment with, to the smiling and friendly gentleman concierge on duty that greets you when you walk in and the women that run the front leasing office, everyone is professional and friendly. If you're looking for walkable city living and a great location near all the finest the Galleria has to offer, def check this out. It looks to be a nice place to live. read more

Lived at this property for about a year. As I lived in Houston for 11 years and all of them in various apartments, I can comfortably declare Camden Post Oak to be the best property in Houston! First of all it is a high rise with all the perks and benefits that go with that: concierge, complementary valet, pool, gym, happy hours, great views. Building is very solidly built and you will have quiet and privacy as walls are concrete! Building was also recently renovated with new carpets, painted inside and out and completely redone lobby area. Parking is plentiful and there are even garages available. I used one for few months to restore a project car as a hobby. Dogs are welcome and dog park has been rebuilt recently. Most importantly staff is great! I really never had an issue, and when problems arise, staff is fixing them. If you like Galleria area, and high rise living, Camden Post Oak is the best bet! read more

I highly recommend Camden Post Oak. The apartments themselves are nice and well-kept, and have a good view - either the bayou if your apartment faces north, or Post Oak Blvd. Lots of yummy foods, bars, and shopping are within walking distance. Ample covered parking for you and your guests. The staff here is caring and friendly. They do updates on the amenities quite often (right now they are putting a row machine in the fitness center). They also keep the building in good shape and maintain fresh flowers in the lobby which is a nice touch. And there's also community events, like a monthly event where you sip wine with the neighbors, or weekend brunch sometimes. One of the best things about living here is the maintenance. I've been here a while so I've put in a few tickets, and every time they have come the same day or the next day. They are friendly and do a great job. Came here for a tour. Over all nice apartments. Clean. Well maintained. Good location. Heated pool was nice. My only issue was the flooring. I had to call 4-5 times and even left messages (nobody ever returned them) to try to find out the color of the flooring in the 1 bedroom units. Finally. After the 4-5 time reaching out, I finally got someone to call me back a few days later and answer my question. I don't think it should have taken that long to find out if the floors were light pine or dark grey colored. Someone could have easily taken the elevator upstairs, poked their head in the door, then sent me an email. Turns out the color of the flooring is pine colored. And only gets upgraded to dark grey "if necessary". That was the reason I chose not to sign a lease. The flooring color, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY the fact that it took so much effort on MY END to get my question answered. If communication was this bad before moving in, I don't want to take a chance and sign a lease there, regardless of how nice anything else was. read more

I walked over to the Camden Post Oak Apartments from the Galleria Mall to get a feel of the neighborhood. Literally a 15 minute walk. I absolutely loved the location. The location is near shopping and company buildings. The apartments were nice and so were the amenities. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The square footage is okay, but its not really about that, it's about the view and the location. There were three things that I loved about the Camden Post Oak. No. 3 - I loved the location (walkable), No. 2 - I loved the view (absolutely amazing) and No. 1 - I loved the agent that toured us (Deena Zachariades). I am from out of town, looking to relocate within a month time. I visited about 7 different communities. Deena made our tour to be one of the two tours that stood out the most from the 7. She was very friendly and patient. She was very approachable. As we toured the community, all the residents greeted her with smiles, waves and brief conversations (that says quit a bit about her interaction with residents in the community and her personality). She is very friendly! Ask for Deena when you are touring Camden Post Oak Apartments. With her I am sure you will enjoy the tour. I didn't feel rushed on this tour. I've had such an amazing move-in process at Camden Post Oak! This complex is absolutely beautiful and all of the staff have been so friendly and helpful since the very beginning of my tour! I cannot say enough great things about all of the leasing agents, concierge, valet, maintenance team, and cleaning staff! Best decision we've made! We recently relocated (for work) to Houston a year ago. We literally spent days upon days searching for a new place. We looked for the right neighborhood, commute factors, and of course, a great community. Thankfully we found Camden Post Oak. From the beginning of the process, the staff there was fantastic at being able to connect, communicate, understand, and over deliver. We asked thousands of questions, looked at floor plans time after time, and toured the facility multiple times. The staff was flawless with patience, empathy, and positive energy. You would think it would of all stopped and took a hard right once we signed the lease. NOPE! A year later and it still continues. The apartments are modern, clean, well kept, and have beautiful views. The community facilities exhibit the same feel. And for whatever reason, rarely feel crowded. We really enjoy the community hosted brunches and happy hours. Over the past year the staff has been attentive in addressing any concerns we have. From minor fixes, to leasing a garage, to helping find local services around the community. Danielle, Franco, Deena, the Concierge, and the maintenance staff have been especially helpful. Deena from the leasing office got back to me (almost immediately) and provided me with all the information I requested. On this first call, she worked with my schedule to set up a tour time that was convenient for me. I visited the community on Tuesday the 26 of March, where Deena met with me and spent an hour showing me units, amenities, etc. We really enjoyed our tour, Deena's knowledge of the area, and her help matching us with the unit we wanted. I've been looking for awhile and I think I've found the perfect spot! First of, LOCATION! One of the best locations to live at! Right on 610 between 59 and i10! Amenities! And it's walking distance to Uptown park with tons of restaurants near by! They provided full service! Valet and concierge, you don't have to really do anything. Apparently they had these apartments and penthouses remodeled, and it looks fab. The staff is excellent everyone is superb. They honestly made me feel so welcomed, great community here! Having lived here for almost 5 years, I have seen this building steadily go downhill. When Jenna was the building manager, the entire team was all about service. Over the last two years with the change in management personnel, it is all about the $$$$. I can forgive the fact they reduced the hours of the valet service, more and more see "temp" concierge at the desk (and on occasion nobody at all), however the best is that they are now changing the parking policies. Everyone loses their assigned spaces that they have had for years, and you now have the ability to RENT spaces back from them if you want a reserved space. Amazing! Only reason I give one star is because the maintenance team has always been great. It's sad that for many years this was one of the best and most high-end buildings in this area of town with a team of people that lived up to what they were charging. Now there are several better options within a half mile. I am looking forward to my lease being up.in a few months. read more

The positives of this Camden Post Oak are that they have an amazing concierge team and residents services who help me carry my groceries up to my apartment. The maintenance staff are quick and fast and come to my apartment within a few minutes of calling them. I also love their luxuries annual Christmas parties and events. The leasing office goes above and beyond to make their residents happy. I feel that I am treated like royalty at Camden Post Oak. My neighbors are wonderful and highly educated. I have found new friends at Camden Post Oak. The apartments have beautiful views a total plus! Camden post oak is situated on post oak Boulevard, adjacent to Uptown Park. It was recently renovated and updated to refresh the feel of the building and they did a pretty good job. The area where the building really excels above the rest of the Houston highrises, is the service and maintenance. Having lived in a lot of the nicest buildings on Houston, I've had the chance to see different management styles. Camden runs the post oak high rise extremely well. Everything from valet to concierge to maintenance, even the office staff. The valet service is not only polite and friendly, but is staffed with enough people, there is always someone there to help. Concierge is attentive and helpful, as well. With regard to maintenance, they respond quickly and repairs are made in short times. We also have great interactions with Deena & Franco from the office. The biggest distinction at this property has less to do with it's beautiful amenities, convenient location, and excellent floor plans; it really is about the amazing staff. In my 6 years as a resident, I've lived through hurricane Harvey, Covid-19, and most recently, this devastating winter storm. During each event, the team here steps up and works incredibly hard to ensure that the property remains safe and habitable, and they provide clear communication regarding their action plan during these crises. The administration is great, especially when compared to the previous ones.In my opinion Jenna, the manager, is one of the main people responsible for the improvement I've noticed in this community. She really listens to any concerns and/or suggestions, whether you have an appointment or not, and sees to them personally with you. Thais, the leasing coordinator, is utterly competent, approachable, and kind. Edgar is the fix-it-all guy. Imagine the most broken commodity that you have. He fixes it. I lived at Camden for a year and a half, and I can't say enough great things about the staff and amenities. From the valets, to the concierge, and the leasing office staff - they all work hard to make sure the residents are happy. The valets volunteered to carry my groceries to my apartment whenever they saw me unloading my car and then rushed to park my car after they dropped off my groceries. All of the concierge staff went above and beyond, whether it was in regards to packages or just kicking my door when I need them to. The cleaning and maintenance staff are amazing! The building is always clean and well looked after. Last but not least, Danielle in the Leasing Office is professional and a pleasure to work with. I have lived here at Camden Post Oak for a year now. After traveling and living in several states for work I will always look for a Camden community. Here are a couple of things I love about this property: Access to different parts of city - Right off of 610 with access to I10 and 59 within half a mile Valet and 24 hr concierge Dry cleaning pick up on site Great gym and conference rooms Monthly events including brunch and happy hour The little things are what separates this community. The washer and dryer and fridge are larger than those of other apartments I have been in. The common areas are always clean and kept up very well. I was fairly ambivalent about selling my house and taking up apartment living, and my apartment search wasn't helping -- all the apartments looked similar, the complex grounds were similar, the amenities were similar -- until I walked into Camden Post Oak. From the moment we walked into the lobby -- which feels like a swanky Manhattan front hall -- the difference was apparent. And things just got better: amazing clubrooms, a wine cellar, a gym and yoga room, the nicest dog park I'd seen at any complex, awesome pool and outside club area. Then, the units themselves: crown molding, curved archways between rooms, real pine wood flooring and stone tiles, a free accent wall in my choice of kicky colors -- I saw nothing like this is any other apartment I toured. I chose an apartment on one of the highest floors, because the view from my floor-to-ceiling windows is indescribable. All that would be wonderful, but truly, it's the people that work at this property that make it a home. My first interactions were with Sana and Thais, and they were amazingly patient with me, including cheerfully showing me and various friends different units several times as I tried to make up my mind about which one I wanted. And since I moved in several months ago, I can't say enough about ALL of the staff, from the office people, to the concierge folks, to the valets, to the maintenance people. Everyone is competent, reliable, and knowledgable, but most importantly, everyone is genuinely friendly and compassionate. I've gotten to know much of the staff at the many resident events that they have, and it has only strengthened my impression of everyone. I absolutely love it here. The traffic around here is a bit challenging, but I walk to Uptown Park, or Whole Foods and Fresh Market, and any number of other restaurants, bars and stores, all the time. Even at peak traffic times, however, it has been manageable. It's really the only negative I've discovered in my 4 months here, and it's not much of one at that. I have lived at Post Oak temporarily and permanently for several years. Over that time, the quality of staff has stayed consistently high - Gene and the front desk team, the valet team who go out of their way to help and keep the atmosphere fun, Jenna, Thais and all of the management and rental team and last but not least, the housekeeping and maintenance team. It has been the staff more than anything else that helped us decide to stay in this building, rather than move to one of the other development options in the area - which may be newer but seem a lot less attractive places to live. Our apartment is large and well proportioned, all of the facilities that we need are in the building, and most importantly for us, our dogs are made to feel welcome and part of the community! We will continue to live here as long as we are in Houston. read more

Renter beware--not what it seems. Not sure how this place gets such positive ratings. Aging and smelly. They use obnoxious fragrances in the air--check out the first floor and the garbage shoots especially. Elevators are rickety and scary. Parking is a BIG issue. Guest parking is essentially non-existent because the same folks stay in guest parking for days. And views from lower floors are of the parking garage--horrible--or McDonald's across the street. Even the "complimentary" coffee is bad. Definitely not worth the high prices in my opinion. read more

I have lived in a few Camden Communities and what has always stood out is the service. Mind you, this is much more upscale but I'm surprised to see how consistent the service levels are. I love this place, everything feels like it's from a magazine or catalog. I have a friend who has raved about the events that are hosted here so I am really looking forward to that as well. Not usually one to write a review, I feel I should write something considering how many reviews I myself read and appreciated whilst frantically hunting for an apartment after moving to Houston a few months ago. With very few requirements on the wish-list, my partner and I covered pretty much every high-rise in the Houston area. In fact, I probably learnt to navigate the city by looking up and manoeuvring between the high-rise buildings we had previously viewed! Camden was a last minute addition for us; I was initially deterred by the multiple colors of the exterior (which is actually being repainted currently) and the less modern interiors vs the many brand new buildings in town.  The flip-side to that was the walls are solid concrete (which really do insulate sound well) instead of drywall, and the layouts are much more generously proportioned vs many of the new builds in the area. We had the pleasure of working with Reagon, the assistant manager. She was incredibly patient, showing us multiple apartment layouts, which had recently been updated with high end, stainless appliances, modern floors, kitchen worktops and baths. We eventually shortlisted potential complexes, but after viewing so many we had to return as all the apartments we had seen seemed to blend into one.  We visited Camden Post Oak two more times, and each time we were met by a patient, polite, and incredibly welcoming Reagon.  We knew from this that Camden was the place for us. The community has a healthy mix of people with numerous residents residing here for many years (which was a telling sign for us). Everyone is incredibly friendly and courteous, and the concierge team at the front desk - despite the size of the building - still manage to offer a personalised approach by knowing our names (and even our dog's!). The dog park onsite is hugely beneficial, and comes with a handy wash, and along with the communal grounds, everything seems to be painted to an excellent standard by a friendly maintenance team. This is hands down the best high rise and apartment complex in Houston. No detail goes unnoticed by the Camden Post Oak team and I have never felt more at home. We have toured the property several times for a year before finally making the decision to move here, my only regret is that we didn't move here sooner! Between Thais, Reagon, and Jenna's amazing professionalism and customer service I have never been more excited to move into a building and felt more at home. I have been a resident of Camden Post Oak for over 1.5 yrs. The first year was great, but that was under the old management. Since Camden took over several months ago the complex has been under decline. My specific unit has flooded twice. Once due to a water heater explosion and second to a busted water pipe in the hallway in front of my unit. It seems like several of my neighbors have also had water heater issues. I know accidents do happen but as a tenant of a "luxury" apartment I expect that maintenance is kept up with to prevent issues like these from occurring. The first flood took over 4 weeks to repair. The unit was uninhabitable due to the extent of the damage the flood caused. The manager of the Camden Post Oak specifically told me I should stay at the nearby Hilton and whatever costs would be covered but Camden. Five days later, after staying at the Hilton, I was told that this was not the case and that the hotel stay would be my responsibility. I had to pay out of pocket for my living arrangement during the 4 weeks of repairs. Also during this time, the contractors managed to rack up my electricity bill to close to $200 as they left the ac on 68 degrees(24/7 for several days) while having 2 heavy dehumidifiers that produced a lot of heat, to dry out the unit. From the first flood I lost over $1400, none of which Camden is taking responsibility for. The second flood occurred approx two weeks after my unit had been repaired. I am going on my 2nd week of repairs if you can even call it that. THey tore out the side boards and some carpeting to allow things to dry and thats about it. I contacted the property manager to get an update for the repairs and it took her 4 days to get back to me. I have been told that I can either wait for the contractors to complete the repairs without a definite completion date or they will move me into another unit but charge me $200 more in rent bc prices went up. Really? Camden is unwilling to work with me on the issue and compensating me in for all the inconvenience the floods have caused. I did not expect to have these sort of issues at a "luxury" apartment and paying 2k/ month in rent. read more
