Camelback Nail bar is by far my favorite nail salon. I have tried dozens of different nail salons and Camelback nail is the only place that is consistent. My nails always look good, always stay on, no hidden fees at the end, on time, clean, great colors and they can do nail art if needed (my daughter always gets). I won't go anywhere else for my nails when I'm in PHX. Great location, friendly staff that always remembers me and gets me in as a walk in, and of course excellent nail work. I do a fill, pedicure, and gel chrome most of time. They always nail it (pun intended) with an excellent pedicure and relaxing leg massage to cap it off. Their new remodel is really nice. It's also cleaner than any other nail salon I've been to -- and I've been to a lot. I've been coming here consistently for a couple of years now when I'm here and I will continue to come back. Updated.... Manager was extremely helpful and although it took time, fixed all the problems - updated picture attached - beautiful! My daughter who is 12 asked for gel x pink french tip nails, short and almond shape... she got white tip and nails that looked like talons, the nail technician also smudged the white into the pink on the nails - looked awful - went back to ask if they could file them into a shorter, rounder shape more suitable for a 12 year old - I did not even ask them to fix the carnage on the nails - the woman who did the nails was rude and aggressive to the extent that when filing my daughters nails she actually cut her finger. I've attached a picture of one of the nails after it was 'fixed'. read more

I chose a deluxe pedicure that included a foot mask and paraffin with extra massage. Mimi did my hands and she nailed an ombré color that I showed her a picture of. I was charged $70 for a fill with regular polish... yes, REGULAR polish, not gel. When I asked why it wasn't cheaper, they basically said, "Nope, same price." Honestly, fine... if the work looked like something other than a craft project from a moving bus. Instead, my nails came out in a vampire claw shape, with some of them crooked and pointing in different directions like they were trying to find their own way home. I've had acrylics since the 1990s, and I've never seen anything like it. The staff felt rushed and not particularly friendly, and the salon didn't feel clean. There were bugs flying around, and the strong chemical smell with no ventilation made the whole place uncomfortable. There are plenty of better nail salons in the valley. I'd recommend going anywhere else. read more

I've been here twice now, and each time has been a wonderful experience. The first time, I got a pedicure and a dip manicure, and the second time I opted for a dip manicure with chrome. Both times, Ken worked his magic on my nails, and they came out PERFECT. The shape was flawless, and the dip was done so meticulously--it's honestly the best my nails have ever looked! I have been going to Kenzie's salon for two years and they are BY FAR the BEST nail salon in town (if not all of Phoenix and Tempe combined). Each time I have ever gone anywhere else other than this salon I have instantly regretted it. Tom is my go to guy for nails and has ALWAYS provided the best service. Sam is the best for a pedicure if that's what you're looking for!!!! After having a bad experience with the SNS dip powder at a different nail salon, I came here to get them redone. The tech I had was Lexi (If I remember correctly) and she went above and beyond! She talked me through all the steps of the process and thoroughly asked me about my nail shape/length. I really felt well taken care of here! To top it off, at the end of my service I got an arm and hand massage! I will not be going to any other salon for my SNS dip powder services! read more

Jackie did my nails a few days ago for my senior portraits, and she did an absolutely wonderful job. I got acrylic tips (almond shape). She was extremely nice and funny. I'm not someone who gets their nails done regularly, nor do I particularly like getting them done, and Jackie kept me entertained. Overall the staff is kind, and the whole atmosphere is relaxing. This salon is great! It is clean and contemporary. You must use Tiger and get dips. They have made my soft, breaking nails long again after one application (which lasts 3 weeks by the way)! I have tried everything and nothing has worked. Dips with Tiger only are amazing, I now have long nails again after 9 years! Also, Michelle is amazing for nails and pedicures. read more

Not following CDC guidelines at all. Came here for a pedicure today and not a single customer was wearing a mask regardless of the sign. They clearly weren't enforcing that, and I have reported this salon to go get checked out for not obeying the rules in play during COVID-19. read more

I got my nails done here for my wedding and I have some very mixed reviews on it…read more I ended up getting a pedicure (the classic) and a full acrylic set (french tip and chrome). I paid an arm and a leg for the services and i felt like the quality could have been better. First off, for my pedicure I wanted to get a white sparkly polish for my toes and chose it from the book... no one warned me that they put a white coat under the samples in the book, so the polish came out a very sheer grey and not at all like the book showed. The lady doing my pedicure was nice and the calf and foot treatments were good, plus there was a massage chair. As for my finger nails, the person doing my nails was not all that friendly, he handled my hands pretty roughly, demanded that i leave my nails as long as he had them (which ended up looking good but some more explanation would have been nice), and would lightly hit each finger with the nail file when he wanted me to put it down, which i felt came off a little rude. I was also disappointed by the fact that there was multiple parts of the nails that were missing polish (like the very top and sides) and he left a large build up of some sort of acrylic powder or something underneath the nail which really bothered me. I would have gone back in and asked for it to get fixed but unfortunately i did it the day before my wedding and didn't have time to go back and fix it. I am a big believer in "you get what you pay for" and i think if my total had been lower i wouldn't have been so frustrated, but because it was SO pricey, i think the attention to detail and service should have been better.
