My Cider class went for a visit to Sowams Cider Works and really enjoyed our trip there. we were able to taste different kinds of apples there and some of there freshly made apple cider!! loved the experience so much and would definitely recommend anyone to go and visit and try some of there amazing hard apple cider

Today I had the opportunity to go on a field trip with my school, Johnson & Wales, to Sowams Cider Works. We started our time there by taste-testing different apple varieties. While we tasted, we were taught about the difference in apples as well as the process of cider making. This was very insightful, and I learned a great amount about the process of cider making as well as the process of apples growing. We ended our time there tasting their 4 different ciders they make at Sowams Cider Works. They were all delicious and had different, complex tastes. Overall, I had a great experience here and enjoyed tasting everything!! I would recommend coming here to any of my cider lovers or those looking to learn more about cider.

First off, Margaret Meg was an absolute pleasure to have as our hard cider slinger! She was very knowledgeable and very friendly! Nothing better than being greeted by a smiley person! The ciders were very good! Sulfate free and no added sugar! My personal favorite was the Roxbury Russet! The tasting was a flight of 4 for $10.00 served with yummy bread sticks! The bar stools were one of a kind, custom made, on some sort of a swivel system! Totally cool! Check em out!

What a fun little place in the Bristol/Warren area! They took a classic bar and put it in a cider mill, the flow is amazing and the custom swivel seats are unique and highly functional. Our hostess, Meg, was super sweet and very knowledgeable on the apples and the ciders. We opted to try a flight of four and were treated to a very unique experience. They each had very unique flavors to each other, as well as to other ciders we have tried. My personal favorite was the Virginia Crab. My wife preferred the Roxbury Russet. After our tasting we each opted for a glass of our favorite cider and more conversation with our lovely hostess! Not only does Warren Cider Works have delicious ciders to please any palate, they also have great hours for weeknight and weekend fun alike (our biggest complaint with so many wineries that we frequent). With this combination I can assure you that we will be back very soon!

Quaint and intimate little spot just off the Main Street, WCW was a wonderful surprise. Although not for the average cider drinker who may enjoy a sweeter angry orchard type drink this place provides an authentic experience. As a home cider brewer and lover of more rustic ciders that tend to be a bit more "funky" this was right up my alley. Stop by and try a fresh pressed treat and gather a wonderful history from the pleasant staff

Cute little hidden place on Rt.103. Place smells great inside, apples galore. The ciders are smooth and tasty. Once you try these ciders you will never go back to the liquor store bought ciders, which are full of sugar and added junk. Bartender was awesome and full of knowledge.

I was in Warren over Thanksgiving 2018 and the owners had just opened up about 3 weeks prior. The inside was still a work in progress, but the taps were flowing! They have hard cider available by the glass or you can get a flight. My boyfriend and I each opted for a flight so that we could taste all 4 ciders they had on tap for $10. Great balanced flavors - 2 were on the sweeter side, and 2 were dry. If you find a cider you particularly enjoy, they sell them by the bottle as well. They also sell the apples they grow, and have a lot of interesting varietals that you wouldn't find at your local grocery store. All in, a really enjoyable hangout in the small town of Warren!

Between 4 of us we were able to sample just about everything on the menu. We also ordered snacks from the large assortment available. We were surprised to find that we had 6 choices from ciders, wines, cocktails, and balsamic vinegars. We were skeptical of those, but Lori assured us that the vinegar combos were favorites. We ended up buying a few ciders and wines. We will be sure to visit again when we are in the area.

And honestly, you can feel the good energy when you walk in. Other reviewers rave about the atmosphere and service, and I get it. The team is warm, the space is inviting, and the whole experience feels very "local gem." But here's where the 3‑star reality sets in: the flavors all start blending together. For a cidery/meadery with such a big menu, I expected more range. Instead, most pours land in the same sweet‑leaning zone, making it tough to distinguish one from the next. After a few sips, everything felt like variations on the same theme. Not bad -- just not memorable. If you're new to cider or prefer sweeter profiles, you'll probably love it. But if you're hoping for bold contrasts, dry options, or something that really stands out, the lineup might feel a little one‑note. Still, the staff is great, the vibe is relaxed, and it's a fun stop if you're already exploring Westerly. With a bit more variety in the flavor profiles, this could easily jump to a 4‑star spot. Cheers

Lots of picnic tables and some Adirondack chairs. There's also a little bench that is great for photo opps with beautiful trees in the background. I think there are also 2 cornhole sets hanging up that guests can use THE SERVICE -everyone I've ever interacted with has been so kind and patient -when we were there one of the workers was detained with something else so only one person was serving. He was HUSTLING and so polite while getting all the flights filled for multiple people (even running them outside to folks!) Overall, I definitely recommend Yankee Cider Co.! I will be bringing a bottle (or a few!) of their spiced wine home for the holidays.
