Beautiful store with lovely staff. Store might look small but it has lots of inventory with lots of sizes. We went for prom shopping and it did not disappoint. Store has plenty of selections, separating colors and even sizes by section. I might be getting the name wrong but I believe it was Alison. She was sweet and made our group feel comfortable. If I could give zero stars, I would. This place turned my prom dreams into a full-on nightmare. First off, the customer service was practically nonexistent. I walked in excited to find the dress, but was barely acknowledged by the staff, they were just straight-up ignoring customers. When I finally got help (after waiting around awkwardly for 20 minutes), I was basically attacked by the staff, who were not helpful at all. I asked the employee, Nicole, to help me find a certain dress, she told me they didn't have anything like that, but after looking around just a few sections away, i found the dress. The staff don't know their own inventory and barley bother to help. Not to mention, the prices are insane. They have a lot of stuff on sale, but they're all practically the normal price for prom dresses. The jewelry was overpriced and looked like they were bought, and uppriced, from Shein. To top it all off, they have a no-refund policy that they conveniently don't tell you until after you've paid, so now I'm stuck with a crappy dress that I can't return. Not to mention, the employee mentioned earlier, Nicole, will continue to bother you about the policy 4x times, I don't understand why she kept coming up to remind me of the policy, I felt racially profiled since I have an accent, she felt that I didn't understand her the 4 other times she bothered me with the policy. Barbie definitely likes this super cute boutique store that is very expensive inside the Memorial City Mall, and I think the main problem with it for me is the pricing. This place is a joke. A cute IG page but when you show up the air conditioning isn't on, the staff is rude, and the cheap dresses are overpriced and unraveling. We went this weekend to look for a homecoming dress and there was a fan pulling the air from the mall into the store. It was so hot! We found a couple dresses but even my 14 year old thought most looked cheap. The line was so long it wasn't worth the wait, particularly in the heat since the fan wasn't reaching the back of the store. We went next door to D!llards and we saw several identical dresses for a fraction of the price of Camille's. One specific black dress at Camille was $59 but was $25 next door. I was crying every day really having a nervous breakdown. I ordered 5 dresses and nothing looked good on me. I either looked like a fat 40 year old or a grandmother. I'm neither. I'm a 50 year old woman that is still alive and just wanted a mother of the groom dress. I walked into Camille's and was greeted by an associate and started gathering dresses. She helped me button up and eventually she brought me THE dress. I tried it on and was so thankful that she stuck with me to find the perfect dress. The only things that saved this review from having no stars was the fact that a beautiful dress was found at the store and purchased. After trying on dresses and finding the perfect one, we had to wait almost 20 minutes to get someone to check us out. I made the lady in the dressing room aware that we were ready to purchase, and she used her walkie to inform the person to check us out that we were ready (since keep in mind we were in line and no one was behind the register) so I had to get out of line in order to get someone. That itself was not the issue, the issue was that after the young lady in the fitting room tried getting someone no one showed up for 20minutes and the only reason someone went was because I had to once again get out of line and inform her that we still needed to check out and at this point a line was forming. I would have understood if there were only 2 people working since I know one of the staff members might not be allowed to leave the fitting room area. But the fact that there were at least 4 girls "working" was what really bothered Me since the only one that even attempted to help was the one that was in the dressing room. To make things worst the lady that checked us out was sweet, but the associate that helped her with an issue we had with using two payment methods for the dress was really rude. Keep in mind the dress that was being purchased was one of their higher ticketed items in the store (which we didn't mind since it was beautiful) but the customer service at this store was by far the worst. Oh and to top things off, the ladies that checked us out and made us wait so long to be checked out prior to getting to the register we're putting back dresses so it's not like they were in the middle of helping clients which is what was a bit more disappointing about the whole situation. read more

After a bridal dress let down, I decided to try an affordable vendor to see if my luck would change. What was interesting about this place is that all of the wedding dresses were in clear plastic bags with all of the dresses saying they were not returnable. You buy the dress and get to take it home. There's nothing wrong with that. The clerks here are polite, but mostly disinterested. If you want the full bridal experience, this will turn you off. I was willing to let it go, because hey a pretty dress here cost me $780ish. What isn't to like? I tried on a few dresses and when we finally found a dress that was okay, what made me say no was the fact that the dress itself had so many issues. For instance, there was a black dot, like a marker, at the back of the dress. Inside there were makeup stains. It was kinda gross. The dress didn't look "dirty" on first look, but when a friend and my future sister in law pointed out the spot and taking into consideration whoever wore this before me truly believed in using a full bottle of foundation, this wasn't the dress. They do try to make knock offs of designer gowns and some of them can be very pretty, but I found that aside from the icky dress I liked, they simply were not flattering on me. To their credit the clerk did offer to special order the one dress I liked, but I didn't want to pay for shipping and as I wasn't crazy about the beading. I didn't think it was worth it. Who is this place for? Girls wanting prom dresses and brides who absolutely LOVED the dresss, but want to direct order a nice clean one, not take the one off the rack home. We visited the new Austin location recently and found a prom dress that was gorgeous for my daughter. The store had a huge selection and we selected about 8-10 to try on. The main public dressing room area had many mirrors and was similar to a bridal salon. My daughter actually had about 4 dresses she really loved and the sizes were true to size and fit her perfectly. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. They spent a lot of time giving us feedback and advice on the hem length and even offered to order a petite length dress, while holding the regular length dress until the petite one arrived. Brittany was amazing and so sweet and caring in the dressing room area. They were not pushy at all. She even offered some suggestions for jewelry per our request. Sarah, the manager, is the one who offered to order the dress and she was wonderful as well. Actually, they were well staffed and everyone we encountered were excellent. We really liked the way the store was organized by color in some areas and as mentioned, there was a huge variety of gorgeous gowns. We found the dresses to be high quality and well made. read more

I cannot emphasize how much I loved looking through this store. I found several gowns that looked like those I would find if looking for dresses above $500 by designers like Ellie Wilde and Sherri Hill, however, not a single dress I looked at was more than $300. Prior to looking at this store I went to Couture House in Spring, H. Harloquin in Houston, Macy's, Dillards, David's Bridal, and Formal Gallery in Houston. In each of these locations I failed to find more than 2 dresses that seemed that they might work. Immediately at Camille la vie I found at least 10 dresses that I could not wait to try on. I found one that I loved and got it for a great price. There is a variety of sizes, colors, kinds of dresses, with great service and a great layout. The dresses are nice but quite expensive. There was a dress for $300 that had apparently been there since january of LAST YEAR, the beads were falling off and stitching was now undone, they gave us a discount for $10 off, which was not worth it. The staff members were a hit or miss, I went multiple times, sometimes they were nice and sometimes they weren't. I went to the store with my mom and sister to look for dresses for my brother's wedding and first stopped by Dillards and found some beautiful dresses but i told my mom to check out Camille.. As you walk in, the first part of the store is tailored for younger women who are looking for prom dresses or even one of those sexy back dresses. Then when we walked towards the middle of the store, we found a great number of dresses for us to try on ranging from size 6 to size 14! We saw the exact same dresses at Dillards and Camille was about 70 dollars cheaper! They also have shoes and accessories to complete your look. My mom found a pair of comfortable Nina shoes. The back of the store is the bridal section. This place is worth a visit! read more

We visited this location looking for a prom dress. Nice selection in different prices and sizes. We actually found THE dress after shopping many, many stores. The staff members were helpful and we had no issues. They even helped us find our size at another one of their locations. I highly recommend this place over David's, Dillards, Nordstrom and Macys due to the vast selection to choose from. The dressing room and mirrors remind me a lot of the show say yes to the dress. Probably some of the worst customer service I have gotten in quite some time, numerous times. Strolled in Saturday early looking for a NYE dress, and a long formal for a work function in Feb. I've been in the place a couple of times, and have been semi successful. I walked in, was never greeted once, but as I made my way to the dressing rooms saw two girls leaning on the counter chatting away about some "B" that they both did not like. They went on and on about how their weekend had gone, and talking about some girl on and on. Que me, walking around with 4 very HEAVY long formal dresses. No one asked me if they would like some help, was I looking for anything, or if they could start a dressing room. Not a peep. I continued to look with my arms getting heavy now, finally I wondered over to where they were and asked them if they could put the dresses in a room. After being looked at like I was a bother to them and interrupting their convo, one finally did. After grabbing a couple more dresses, I asked where the dressing room was, the sales person waved towards the back, and said over there, without moving. Keep in mind I was the ONLY person in the entire store. I tried on several dresses, never was asked if I was okay, if I needed other sizes, or if I needed anything. One of the dresses I actually liked, but after the CS being so poor, I wanted to leave. On the way out, the girls stood around still taking about people, while I walked out. After looking at several bridal shops I went to Camille La Vie after an acquaintance mentioned the place to me. I made an appointment and even told the lady my size and the dresses that I really liked from their website. When I arrived they had a dressing room already stocked with the dresses that I picked out, in my size, as well as a few others that I hadn't seen on-line. I tried on several dresses and fell in love with one of them, unfortunately they didn't have my size and my wedding was 7 weeks away.
