This is the place to go for variety, choices and price. The staff has been generally very well acquainted with the stock. Their care for detail and service to the customer is admirable. I have been there for numerous occasions from Proms to wedding dress shopping. This store is the only one that has wedding dresses, the other store at the Florida Mall only has evening gowns. They also have shoes and accessories. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is the lack of sitting space for the family and friends who accompany the person trying on dresses. Lol The 3 women there were RUDE. I understand why so many places are losing out to Amazon. When I go into a store and I am the only customer, I really do expect some help. After being there about 40 minutes I finally asked. The 1 lady had to be loosened up some by me in ordee to get her to show some sense. The other one never got off the phone. I wish both were fired. If you dont mind being ignored, go to check out the dresses. They have a good amount of formal wear and some bridal gowns. At least 50 dresses marked 50 percent off. They would not let me use the restroom because I was a male. They then said "we would make an exception for you" the manager had no concept that it was illegal to deny someone to use the restroom based on gender... they were rude and snotty, can't believe this behavior is allowed in 2021. I was in need of a pageant dress for my little girl. I was pleased with the actual dress I brought for her from there; However the sales attendant failed to remove the security tags and I ended up having to drive two more hours back up to the mall to get it removed. Sol Marie helped us find the perfect dresses for our formal engagements. We found 4 dresses and 2 were marked down. They were beautiful, well made and they looked good on. Some of the dresses, I would not have chosen but Sol Marie offered it as a suggestion and she was right. I've never had a personal stylist but I felt like I had one with Sol Marie! She even helped us find matching accessories. She was helpful, not pushy and diplomatic when necessary (no forced sales here). She genuinely just wanted to help us find something that would look nice on us. She's like the fashionable older sister, offering advice and helping the awkward duckling with patience and kindness versus condescending, snobbishness. Rosa checked us out + she was patient as we were trying to pick out a matching purse. When we thought we had the wrong dress size, she went looking for the other size. When we realized that we had the right size, she was just happy that we found what we were looking for, rather than being annoyed at us. I would have probably been a little annoyed. I'm a casual person, but the ladies here made this experience enjoyable + fun! It felt like the montages in the chick flick when the young awkward girl tries on the different outfits, to finding the perfect outfits with her newly found fairy godmother or gay guy stylist guru. This specific Camille La Vie store is located on International Drive. Let it be known that this specific Camille La Vie is like an "Outlet store". The dresses available here are "outlet prices". All of the dresses have reduced prices and I was able to verify the veracity of this since I visited plenty of department and dress stores (Like Macy's, Dillard's, Nordstrom, JCPenny and others) and saw the same dresses, but with higher prices. Also, they have a decent clearance area and often have an additionally 50% off on select dresses. This specific Camille La Vie has wedding gowns available on site. They have a decent area of wedding gowns and flower girl gowns. They are all have reduced prices! So I highly recommend checking this store prior to any of the well known department stores. Additionally, staff was very polite, eager to help, humble and even helped me look for dresses according to my preference and needs. read more

Where do I begin. This experience would've been perfect had it not been for the people working here. I got my prom dress a few years ago from here and the entire time the lady that was helping kept hanging me dresses I did not like and would get mad when I told her i wanted to stick with the one I ended up taking home. She was extremely rude. I took a gamble going back to this location and I should've known better. I came in the buy a clutch to match a dress for my brother in laws wedding. When the lady came around to cash me out, she VERY rudely asked if I was going to spend more then $25 on a clutch. When I told her all I needed was the clutch, she proceeded to tell me the register was done. When I asked to speak to the manager, the register suddenly worked and she was able to help me. I spoke with the manager and if SHE told me they've had issues with the specific employee. Very disproportionated. Just save yourself and don't go here. People are EXTREMELY rude and stuck up. You can find a much better place for a gown for much cheaper without going to this place. read more

The customer service here sucks. You can work around it if you end up being a person who brings people out of their shell but if not you can feel unwelcomed very quickly. Charity had the worst attitude out of everyone but once we approached her and continued to bother her for help then she stayed consistent with helping us and made it where we could finally find something for a good price after all of this time of searching . We came in once before at the beginning of the month and walked back out due to the vibes overall but decided after getting no where with dress shopping that we had to suck it up and deal with it for a day . I called this store to see if they had a dress in stock that was on their website. The lady told me she would call me back. I drove down there an hour later and they still had not called me back but I figured they were busy. When I got there, there were maybe two other customers in the shop and at least one lady free who could have called me. It took forever to get anyone's attention the whole time we were there and they didn't seem interested in our business. I tried on another dress but asked if they could look for other stores in the area that might carry the one I wanted. The nearest one was in New Jersey and they could not ship the dress without a 30% non-refundable deposit. The clerk said she would speak to the manager/corporate to see if it was possible to allow me to try on the dress in their store without paying for something I've never even seen in person. Four days later I had not heard back so I called them myself. The response was pretty much the same: "oh, I'll have to ask the manager". So I politely asked if they would let me know one way or another. Again, I was told I would be getting a call back. It's been a few weeks and I've given up on them. read more

Just left this location shaking my head. The salespeople reminded me of the walking dead. One anecdote: My wife found the perfect dress for her upcoming event but the size was too small. The salesperson told her they could not order a different size for her. If it wasn't in the store there was nothing she could do. As we were leaving my wife exclaimed, "I wish that dress was in my size I'm so sad!" The same salesperson from earlier said, "well I can look it up and see if we can order it for you." Shake my head. While looking for a wedding dress I was overwhelmed by the process. Setting appointments at high priced shops to then have to describe your dream dress (provide you know this to begin with)so the employee could then pick one from the racks of dresses and bring you their suggestion. Feeling like you are wasting their time when you don't like the dresses they pick. After a day of failures and stress I try Camille. Wow what a difference! No appointment needed, and all the dress are displayed so you can see everything they carry clearly and quickly. Yes it took about 8 mins for someone to address us but that gave me time to look and when they did show up they were amazingly helpful. I wanted a short dress which is not a thing but they helped me find a dress that could be altered to be shorter and even helped me pin it up so I could get an idea of what it would look like. If you want the traditional way and want to spend $1000s on a designer dress and have a stylist help you dig through hundreds of choices this is not your place. If you want a simpler way to find a nice dress that won't break the bank this is your place. Good people, affordable nice dresses, and a relax experience! read more

I went to the store to look at a mother of the bride dress, a wedding gown for my daughter, and the bride's maid dresses, the staff refused to let my son use the restroom as it was for "women only" they asked him to use the restroom on the other side of the plaza or go to McDonald's to use the restroom. We left the store and will not purchase anything from this store. They lost the business of the whole wedding. The staff is beyond rude and inconsiderate of their customers. The customer service is terrible and makes you feel unwanted in the store. Due to their discriminatory policies, I will choose another vendor for our wedding needs. read more

This is my go to store for all my special events attire. Beautiful gowns, always have had a nice experience and service. Today I was surprised, no one greeted me when I walked in, no one offered help, I guess their conversation was really good, there was no kind of acknowledgment. I usually have a lady assisting with the gowns, in terms of helping taking them to the dressing room. No one did, so here I am carrying all gowns, one by one, as you know they are kind of heavy (some of them). I try them, needed some assistance with some but again no one was available. So I simply left and not even a 'thank you for coming '.... sad, they missed a really good commission/sale, and I do not doubt I was not the only one with this experience. We did not want money back, just another dress - was even willing to pay more - a return fee or something like that. They would not even consider it - said it's their policy - period. Shame wouldn't work to satisfy a young girl for her prom dress. Won't spend another penny there. Sad cuase the store has a great selection of dresses and prices but bad customer service. On top of that, everything was organized and they had multiple sizes of each dress. No searching through super packed racks with random dresses in random sizes and then having to order the size you want. No obnoxious sales people hovering over you. This was NOT an Outlet! Their prices are the same as the retail store with the exception that the dresses and shoes had more defects. For instance, their gowns were not true to size. Plus, the Spanish sales lady told me I had to go to McDonald's across the street to use the bathroom (I'm sure they have one in the building). I showed up in a panic! The dress I was supposed to wear to my first military ball broke 20 minutes before I was supposed to be there. We walked in, my husband in uniform, and me in tears. The staff felt my emotions immediately! They could tell I was overwhelmed. One of the ladies grabbed me and took me to the fitting room. She brought me three dresses. The first one I put on was perfect!!! She knew to grab me a petite because I would have no time for alterations. They took the tags off and had me ready to walk out the door. This was about to be a terrible day and I didn't think I would make it to the ball! The staff at this location were so amazing!! I have never had such an incredible experience. We live in Land O Lakes, but if I ever need a dress again, I will definitely come here. They made my night and I am so appreciative of how everything worked out. I feel blessed for sure!!! read more

I came across this store during an online search for bridal boutiques. I've always known it to be an evening/formal dress outlet, but have never been inside nor knew of the bridal gowns. Before going, I called to set an appointment - the typical procedures during this type of shopping. I was expecting that this was done to ensure that there would be a sales associate to assist during that time. When I arrived, there was no other shoppers and two sales associates. They directed me to the gowns and pulled out a rolling rack for me to hang my selections, which then would be wheeled to the fitting room. These dresses are decent for the price... if you're looking for an off-the-rack gown and have a tight budget and short time frame. The quality and material are not bad. Thank goodness I had my sister in law there to help me get in and out of the gowns. Only once or twice during the 30 minutes I was trying on dresses did the associate peek in to check on us and then walked back out. Overall, gowns and selections are decent but don't expect too much help or to get the bridal experience here. read more

I've gotten dresses from here before when they used to have a Tampa location but then they closed. Here I am in Orlando and I'm firstly followed but not even greeted, as if being treated like i am going to steal. I then get dresses and no one from the team acknowledges me until someone else walks by and says "excuse me". Then the lady takes my dresses and doesn't place them all on the hook walking away and letting them fall to the ground. It seems as though we didn't get as much help or assistance because we didn't speak Spanish. I then tried on dresses and one we needed assistance with tying the back. We had to ask a lady who wasn't even stationed in dressing room for help and she was very nice and reassuring and apologized for the experience. Great store! With unsatisfactory customer service. A day before a wedding, the mother of a bride to be had to change her dress model due to daughters opinion and was unable to return or exchange her purchase. Though the original dress was on layaway, they did not want to exchange the amount paid for the original dress with the new dresses' price. No one had a definite policy as to layaway exchanges which was upsetting but as a valued customer (purchased bride's accessories and vail). A loss of close to $200 does not seem worth the hour spent on delegating this issue when the store should have equipped sales professionals and concrete store policies. read more

The store looked amazing and had Beautiful gowns, most of the dresses were for juniors rather than all events. The staff was not friendly at all I had to ask several sale girls if they had a few dresses. They were very short with me and pointed to a rack stating that the dress should be somewhere over there. The older women with the blonde hair looked was rude and direspectful. Needs more staff on days that they are busy. I highly recommend you go somewhere else for a dress. read more

This boutique is wonderful. I really have no idea what the other reviewers are talking about. I found my prom dress here. It was affordable, super cute, and unique. I looked everywhere and no where compares. I actually went to another bridal shop. They unfortunately only sold wedding and brides maid dresses.
