I came back in less than 24 hours after I purchased to explain all of this and the lady that sold to me told me that she felt bad and that she should've explained that there were no returns. And while we were in there, I didn't see a no return policy. The second time we were in there when I tried to return this item that's when I saw the sign and your lady knew that that's why she said she felt bad. This would be the brunette lady.

I looked at the neck and side seams and couldn't find a care tag. I washed cold/cold on delicate and hung it straight out of the washer. I saw it had shrunk so much, but I was able to stretch it (it was make of crinkly material) after I put it on, and was able to wear it but it ripped up the back seam the first time I wore it after washing it once. I wasn't even aware there was a back seam (bad place for one, IMO) - and that's when I found the care tag - DRY CLEAN!!!! Not sure why it shrunk so much since I washed it on delicate and with cold water. Just be sure to check your tags. I wish I had. I typically won't buy anything if it's dry clean only, but who would ever think a swimsuit cover up would be dry clean only?

They had a sale rack outside the front that caught my attention and I found an absolutely gorgeous skirt that was 30% off! It ended up only being $13.57 total, so of course I bought it after trying it on in their dressing rooms and browsed the rest of the store. Like any store of this kind things are marked fairly high, but they are quality items and the sale rack deal alone will bring me back to this shop on another market day. There were 3-4 women asking if people needed help and checking customers out behind the register. I didn't feel pressured to purchase anything I tried out and they gave suggestions on other items that would go with things I had chosen which I appreciated.

Stopped in here and selection seemed limited from what I am used to seeing. But really the kicker was that no one spoke to me the entire time I looked around. They helped the other person shopping- told her about the sale, started a dressing room, etc, but I felt invisible. It was just so odd because I typically have the opposite experience at Loft stores. I went today to buy my Spring wardrobe and walked out with nothing entirely based on the service. I was in the store a total of 20 minutes and picked out a few items. Both salespeople were behind the counter talking. After waiting for awhile to interject on the 2 sales people's loud conversation about whether skinny jeans were for older women & out of style I asked about a specific item I saw online. They did not have it in store and started to offer to order it for me. Instead of following through with the order they went on a tangent amongst themselves about how THEY didn't even get their discount on that particular (Beach) line. I stood there about few minutes listening to them talk about the discount percentages they got on everything else. As a customer I should not hear this conversation, nor do I care one bit about their discount when I'm paying full price for items. I set my items down and walked away, thinking one of them would snap back to the task at hand which was helping me, as a customer. As I walked out I heard one of them say robotically, "have a nice day". I went back in and told them both exactly why I would never spend money in that location again to help them achieve their daily sales goals. As a customer we have options where & how we spend our money. Sadly, I will stick to online to avoid crap in store service.

The owner, Kris (might be wrong spelling), is really sweet and made my mom and I feel so welcome. She sells cute and trendy clothes at much better prices than places right on the square. She also sells some jewelry, purses, kitschy stuff too. The upstairs is a consignment store. Everything is easy to touch and look at. Stop by this place and spend local ! We will certainly go back.
