In 2019, my younger child was diagnosed with a condition called enamel decalcification (basically, some of the enamel on his back teeth did not fully develop). The two dentists we consulted before coming to Camino Pediatric Dentistry recommended the same treatment: six crowns. Given that this was major dental work for a young child (he was 8 years old at the time), they suggested full anesthesia. We were very hesitant about putting our young child under for such prolonged and extensive dental work. We came to Camino Pediatric Dentistry for a third opinion based on a recommendation from a co-worker. Dr. Lee examined our son and recommended a simple filling for one affected tooth. As parents, this was a huge relief. Dr. Lee completed the filling with local anesthesia in about 15 minutes! That was six years ago, and the filling is still in place with no issues, and there's no risk of deterioration to his other teeth. We've been extremely happy with our decision and the excellent work done. About a year ago, our older son, now 16, was involved in a bicycle-car accident and broke his two front teeth. We were devastated and stressed. We rushed to Camino Pediatric Dentistry for fillings and rebuilding of his front teeth. Dr. Chelsea Wong took the time to create a masterpiece of work. Our son now has a beautiful smile again! As a parent, I truly appreciate how the dentists at Camino Pediatric Dentistry take a very conservative approach to treatment. My son has been their patient for 6 years and he loves them. Just went there today for the first time based off of family's recommendation! The staff is so friendly, engaging and made my boys (1.5yo and 3.5yo) feel welcome. The place is so clean, comfy and had toys in the waiting area as well as the examination room to keep the littlest occupied. Dr. Catherine and RDA Leslie were very thorough and communicative to both our older boy and us parents, and eased all our worries by explaining what they see and using photo examples of what to look out for! Even the X-Ray was seamless and fast. After the boys got tokens for having a good visit to use on the capsule machine in the lobby, as well as a couple themed toothbrushes, everyone left with a smile. The office was recently remodeled and the lobby is now spacious and has a very welcoming feel. The kids are relaxed and even look forward to visiting their dentist. Our dentist is Dr Lee. She is sweet and bilingual. She speaks Mandarin and English, which helped with the entire experience. When my mom, who speaks very little English has to go in my place, communication is no problem. We appreciate that Dr Lee has a way of redirecting the kids' attention so potentially uncomfortable procedures are no big deal! Dr. Grace Lee is a compassionate and knowledgeable dentist. The office staff are very welcoming and kind. We've had wonderful experiences each time visiting. One of my children has special needs and requires sedation dentistry. Dr. Lee let us know that she does not do sedation dentistry, but she was able to give us recommendations on treatment and was also able to complete a thorough exam on my son who has never been able to tolerate an exam before. She was gentle and kind with my child and also had all of the necessary equipment for a comfortable exam. For my 18 month old baby, she completed a full cleaning and exam with ease.
