I want to start by thanking Riley at Camp Bow Wow for helping make a very stressful situation just a little bit easier! We were visiting from TX & our hotel failed to inform us that our pets could not be left unattended (for any amount of time) in our room. This came as a surprise since we weren't told when we called about their pet policy, etc & they informed us they were "pet friendly". Anyway, Riley was a HUGE help & was so kind when I called with a million questions as neither of our dogs had ever attended a day play. Because of Riley, we were able to find a safe space & place for our dogs to stay & play while we enjoyed our weekend without any additional stress. I took my puppy to bentonvielle branch as I was traveling for three days . I went back to pick him up and he had a car on his nose with dried blood that non of the staff can explain how or when did this happen!!! The place smells terrible and no communication between the team that works at all that they call me to ask same question like three times from three different employees at the same branch! I am shocked at how bad the service and the staff are over there! I don't recommend it all! read more

I've never been disappointed with the groomers work; my Yorkie always looks Great! However, the office staff, scheduling, etc. side of the business could not be worse. I can only think of one time over the past years of using them when they didn't call to say a groomer was out, someone scheduled only one hour when in fact they now say it takes two hours so could I bring her in earlier, the day of, call because they had a cancellation and could I bring her in early, today, snow day I know, but called the night before to verify I would be there, only to get there and no groomers showed up because of the weather, I've tried repeatedly to have her cut every 30 days and SOMETHING ALWAYS changes. Last Thursday of the month is bone bar day- which means a nice treat for the pups and a drawing for the humans. My dogter is my kid... ok well probably more spoiled than an actually human child would be. I was so nervous to leave her at Camp Bow WOW the first time. Would they be mean to her, would she be mean to them? The first day I was able to watch her introductions where they took time and made her feel comfortable. She has been attending fairly regularly since then to keep up her social skills and for hen I take trips out of town. I love that I can add a bath, she comes home fresh and soft, and exhausted. I watch the cameras and see that she is having a grand time. I seriously love this place. I recently started bringing my 7 month old puppy for daycare while I am at work. Everyone I have spoken to has been extremely nice and welcoming. I first brought him for an interview day, he was a little nervous to begin with so they kept the play group small as to not overwhelm him. Now he loves going! I also appreciate that they accept all dogs here. My dogs are all 'pit bull' mixes and are not allowed to attend DogWatch daycare in Bentonville strictly because of their breed. Boarded my sweet Boz there for 4 days July 17-20. We saw Bozwell on camera and all was well. We had requested a bath to wash of slobber. We were going to be late on day of pickup. Called and ask for Boz to be kept in kennel so as not to get reslobbered on. Not a Big deal. Girl at front desk wasn't sure how to put a gentle leader on pet. Not a big deal! Was not given a report on stay ( as all previous boarding facilities do) NOT a big deal! Had Influenza vaccines given before boarding as Camp Bow Wow Bentonville was having an outbreak of Canine influenza. Saw on Review on Camp Bow Wow that Management was requiring Canine influenza vaccine before you could board. This was NOT a requirement when I scheduled. When I picked up Boz, he had one normal stool- then squirts which turned into very bloody diarrhea. Boz went no where except out of town for A birthday part at Son's house. When returned home took Boz to Vet's -$200.00. Now, I get a call from Son- now his dog is starting with Diarrhea. In my opinion- they hire very young staff ( who do love the dogs) but do not have the training or experience needed for safe and healthy boarding experience. Will not be back. read more

I once loved this place for my dogs but now apparently there is a new owner and management. It was at one time friendly, tidy and organized. When we walked into the empty lobby there was puke and stains on the floor. Other areas needed attention badly, it was so dirty. I told the person at the the desk about the puke on the floor in front of their desk and they took a small dry cloth to wipe it up. The place smelled so bad! It never smelled this bad before! I had to bathe my dog twice after one night stay. Also - had to give my dog allergy meds to clear their eyes. read more

This is no longer a safe or reliable place to leave your dogs. They called to say our dog had kennel cough and took him to the vet for us since we were out of town. The vet did not see any symptoms but treated anyways based on camp bow wow's statement that he coughed a couple times and they had at least 6 other cases of kennel cough this week. They were very demanding to have our dogs picked up right away despite little to no symptoms and being 13 hours away. They did not warn us about the outbreak in cases so we were forced to have somebody else pick them up for us and pay a vet bill due to their negligence. read more

I just picked up my baby after a 9 day stay. She did so well there. She is a senior and had a leg amputated due to cancer so she doesn't have much stamina to run and play with other dogs. They said they made up for that with extra personal attention. I so appreciated that. They also gave me a report card about how she ate every day. I would recommend them highly! read more

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE! I just got my dog back from getting washed and having her nails trimmed. They DID NOT TELL ME that they cut her nails short and that she was bleeding from one of them. Unfortunately, I didn't notice until we got back home and saw blood all over my floor. When I called them the manager said, "I have been cutting nails for 4yrs and can promise you that I didn't cut her nails too short. It must have happened when she was exiting the 'cabin' we were holding her in before you picked her up." Only after I repeatedly told her that she was bleeding and it was clearly cut too shot did she then apologize and give me a refund upon request. All they needed to do was give me a heads up that they made a mistake and that she was bleeding. Because they didn't, I now have to pay $250 to get the seats/carpet steamed and shampooed to HOPEFULLY remove the blood stains that wouldn't come out with water or product. I will not be returning here and would highly suggest you avoid at all costs as well. read more

I was in town for a few days riding the trails, and needed a place for daycare for my pup. This was the perfect place! I love that they give the dogs their own choice for a secure outdoor space (weather permitting) or inside to hang out or chill. My dog is a daycare veteran and is very picky on where he goes, and whether he wants to return, and the second day he could not wait to get there! I definitely recommend this place for daycare, and the staff was welcoming even though I may or may not be back in the area. read more

My dog feels right at home here, he's excited to arrive And they know him by name. Comes home happy but exhausted, they have great staff they care about the animals. You can also watch live on video which is a big comfort when you're out of town to see that your pets OK healthy and playing. The overall experience has dropped tremendously since new management took over. Customer service has been replaced with price increases and zero tolerance policies. Make sure you take your shot records immediately after each vet visit. If you misplace your receipt and the vet isn't open yet, they will turn your dog away NO EXCEPTIONS. Beware! The place was clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. I only had one complaint, and it wasn't a big issue, but we had chosen to have both dogs bathed and their nails done and neither were done when we picked them up. That being said we were about 15 minutes early when we picked them up which may have been a factor. If it was possible to give them zero or negative stars I would. We took our two fur babies in while we vacationed out of the country. They were given a container of food to last them well beyond their 8 day stay. On day three I was called (while out of the country) that the food was empty. How is that even possible. They said that they were going to feed them in house food. I said that I would get food to them and not to do that. Then the very next day they called again saying that one of the dogs had thrown up 7 times and was now throwing up blood along with blood in his stools. They would not transport to the vet and also denied feeding him food that was not his. My friend had to leave her meeting, go get him, take him to the vet and try to get to the bottom of it. The vet told me that he was being over fed and probably the food was changed which aggravated the over feeding. This was a logical explanation of how they ran through so much food. But our vacation had already been ruined as we were now overly worried about our fur babies. We got back into town and went to pick them up. Since then our other fur baby has been skittish and will not allow us to trim his toenails at all. His personality is completely different and was not like this when he went in. Contacted management to let them know what went on and they denied over feeding. We wanted a vet bill paid since we wouldn't have had that if they hadn't almost killed my dog by over feeding. They refused to refund any money. Only said they would give a credit. Like I would take our boys there ever again. I have since run into a few others who have had a horrible experience there and felt I had a duty to leave a review. It was a horrible traumatizing stay and we are still dealing with the after effects. read more

We lived in Bentonville when camp bowwow first opened. They were so much better than the other dog boarding options in the area at the time. We moved away to a large city fully expecting to find the same level of service and caring. However we ended up paying 2 to 3 times more for much less. From the first time I visited Camp Bow Wow, I was impressed. They were happy to give me a tour of the facility and I honestly love everything about it. Everyone who works there is very friendly and helpful. The "camp" is very organized and clean and I always feel confident that my dogs are being not only well taken care of, but loved while they are there. We have been using Camp Bow Wow since shortly after they opened. Our 13 year-old Golden Retriever doesn't care much for being left without his pack. He doesn't eat well, he chews at the bars when caged, and he shows visible signs of stress. That said, the staff at Camp Bow Wow knows him by name, they understand his personality and his... "quirks" and they go out of their way to provide him with the extra attention that he needs to get through those times when we need to travel. We have called upon them several times when we needed to travel on short notice and they have always come through for us. Jeff and his staff are terrific and we appreciate the service they provide to our dog. -- As for the Camp Bow Wow brand, we are pleased, the only thing we would like is further enhancements to the iPhone/iPad app. In addition to seeing the web-cams it would be nice to have reservations and contact links available. read more

These people are the worst! My dog had been getting scratched and it here often. They would never tell me or take responsibility. It got so bad that I stopped taking him. I was recently desperate to find a place to board and so I took him here. I called because I wanted to see my dog on camera while I was on vacation. They lied to me twice then after 3 days of boarding they called me and told me that they weren't letting my dog out to play. They also told me that 3 months ago my dog had been banned from their facility. This didn't make any sense since they let me schedule the boarding with no issue and never notified me that he was being aggressive or difficult. This leads me to believe that they have no real regulars for safety since they deemed my dog dangerous but then let him right back in without telling me. I had booked him for 8 days of boarding and had to pull him out after 3. They still bothered to charge me full price. I just cannot believe how awful this place has become I used to love them but at this point they just seem dishonest and irresponsible, I would not take your dog to bow wow bentonville. read more

Whether boarding for a weekend or just dropping off for a day of play, I know my dog is in a safe and well cared for environment. Having a large dog, I hate to leave her for the weekend at a typical kennel where she is confined to a cage for the majority of the time.
