My experience with Camp Bow Wow Bridgewater... I adopted Deuce, a NJ Boxer Rescue in 2006. Deuce's first year of life is unknown, he was underweight, had a bad case of mange and clearly had separation anxiety along with other emotional issues. Regardless, he is a sweet, lovable character that I knew deserved a better life. Leaving Deuce home alone at first was tough on him and my belongings! He got so upset and stressed that he tore through lamp shades, tissue boxes, cell phones, anything he could get his paws on. We needed help! Camp Bow Wow to the rescue! I spoke with Randy and explained Deuce's separation anxiety issues. She understood and we scheduled his meet and greet interview. He is so friendly and has so much energy that this was a great place for him to let loose. For more than four years Deuce has been a regular at Camp Bow Wow. All of the counselors know him, they understand his issues and they make sure he is taken care of. If he (or ANY of the campers) needs some special attention, he is sure to get it! He loves Camp days. All I have to do is spell out C A M P and he runs to the front door. I know that Deuce is in safe hands when he is there, if it is just for the day or for an entire week. I have been trying desperately to leave my review on google, but for some reason I have been having a problem getting in. Anyway, I have been bringing my border collie, Maddie, to Camp Bow Wow in Bridgewater for nearly a year and I am continually amazed at Maddie's improvement jumping up on people and I can only attribute that to the fine training she seems to be getting from Tyler. It's definitely a love affair on Maddie's part. I still have a very pleasant experience with the staff every afternoon I drop Maddie off. If there is any problem with the dogs not getting along, the staff at the front desk always keeps you abreast of any scrapes or scratches. This is not only a great facility to leave your dog when you go our of town, but also for people like me who needs about 5 hours of "my" time just a couple days a week These people really know how to run a business and they go out of their way to make all their clients happy (and not just the DOGS). I personally have never seen any abuse of any kind and the negative reviews I have seen are very few and far between. Let's just say that our dog Nikki (1 year old Cockapoo) is 25 lbs of pure nonstop energy! I was crossing my fingers the first time that we dropped her off that she would get along with the other dogs and exert some of her energy, and boy did she...then she slept...and we were very happy dog owners! We bring her 1-2 days a week, and she loves it. She walks in the door and doesn't give us a second look. The entire staff is welcoming and we can tell that they have really gotten to know our dog. If we bring lunch they have no problem giving it to her in the afternoons and letting her rest for a while. We have left her a few time for boarding and have never had any problems. They didn't even seem to mind when we called in to check on her every couple days (nervous first time parents). And having the option of having her groomed the day we pick her up is great. You could say we have tried about every groomer in the Bridgewater/Somerville area, and we have seen the best results from Camp Bow Wow. The cost is reasonable for daycare, boarding, and grooming. Giving our dog an outlet to run around and have fun during the day means so much to us. It beats leaving her cooped up in the house all day while we are at work, and we know she loves it! read more

We leave our dog, Lizzy, here every time we go away and we have never had a bad experience. You can tell that all of the people there love dogs and are super friendly. Lizzy has separation anxiety, but you can never tell when she goes to Camp Bow Wow! I love how they are allowed to interact with each other and are not kept in a kennel all day long. This also allows them to freely go to the bathroom in the outside parts of the playrooms. They also have their "nap times" where they go into their own run that has their bed in it. You can tell they keep close attention because I was alerted when we picked her up that she had diarrhea one morning. We also love the fact that you can watch them on the webcams. It makes us comfortable to know that she is in good hands. Every time we pick her up, she's always pooped out from having so much fun! I would recommend Camp Bow Wow to anyone who is hesitant about leaving their dog in a place where they can't run around and play all day. I have been taking my dog Alex to camp on and off again for a few years. Have taken her there for both daycare and boarding. The environment has always been all about the pets there and never worry about her when she is in their care. Took her there for boarding before Hurricane Sandy. Due to the storm we were unable to fly home and had to leave Alex there for a few extra days. Being out of state, we were very concerned about what was going on back in NJ and worried about Alex of course. In speaking with Randy she assured me Alex was fine, although they lost power, they were running on a generator and someone would be with the pets at all times. She also gave me her personal cell #, so I could contact her at anytime. When we first brought home our Basset Hound puppy 4 years ago, we found Camp Bow Wow as a place to bring her a couple days a week to socialize her with other dogs (and to give us a break from her crazy puppy energy). Since then 2 more hounds (Mille & Daisy) have found their way into our home and into the Camp Bow Wow Bridgewater family. Whether I am dropping off the girls for a day of play or an extended vacation stay, I feel confident that they are in the best hands possible. Everyone at Camp treats each dog as if it was his or her own beloved pet. The staff is absolutely excellent, the facility is large and provides for lots of play and rest space. And perhaps most importantly, my girls want to be there...each one wagging her tail in anticipation of a day of play with their camp friends. Our 9 month Labrador Retriever loves Camp Bow Wow Bridgewater and we do too! He goes to camp several days each week for daycare. Each morning, he sits by the car door, hoping it will be one of his daycare days. When we get to CBW he then pulls us in the door and goes to play with the dogs without a backwards glance. We love it because he gets to play and exert so much energy during the day that he is tired and a very well behaved puppy when he comes home at night. The staff at Camp Bow Wow are also wonderful. When he was younger, we used to request that he have multiple short naps during the day. The staff had absolutely no problem with this, and would ask us each morning how many naps we wanted. They also have holiday parties for the dogs, which are so cute. We really like seeing the pictures that they post online of the dogs at the party. We would recommend CBW to anyone! read more

The proof is in the puppy! My little girl loves CBW so much that I have literally come to use, "Do you wanna go to CAMP??" as complete bribery to get her to behave! (LOL Terrible dog parenting, i know..) There's nothing better than peace of mind and I have all positive things to say about the Bridgewater location. The staff is so friendly and always make me feel comfortable leaving my little girl. I have done everything from a half-day (when I know my dog needs some quick playtime and I have errands to run) to full day daycare, weekend getaways and even for a full week vacation... and I never feel like she is in bad hands. The fact that you can watch on your phone is also super cool! She comes home exhausted so I know she is playing her little heart out! I add extras often like baths, ear cleaning, nail clipping and tooth brushing. Seriously, they go above and beyond. read more

We really like the trainer Alicia, she is so very knowledgeable. I love the way she interacts with all the pups in her class. Our Finnegan is just a 4 months old now and he has been going for a few weeks to her class. I really can't believe how well he is doing. We are beyond thrilled. We also started taking him to the Doggie Day Care, which is absolutely loves, we have an older dog at home and doesn't play as much with him, so he just LOVES going and playing. The staff is very friendly and seem to be very caring. You can tell they are real dog lovers for sure. I will frequently watch the web cams (which I love), just to check in on him, I will occasionally witness the staff members giving him a little hug along the way...makes me very happy indeed. We have a five month old Sheepadoodle puppy who has been attending puppy Kindergarten and basic obedience school at Camp Bow Wow in Bridgewater, NJ. We are extremely pleased with how much she has learned and what a wonderful puppy she is becoming due to our trainer. Alicia's guidance. Our classes are so much fun for us and for Penelope that we are planning on attending Basic Obedience II. Bravo Alicia!!!! In addition we have taken our last 2 dogs to Camp Bow Wow a few times a week to socialize and play with other dogs. The people are great with all the dogs and every Holliday is special! We even got a cheese board in the shape of a wine bottle with our dog's picture on it. We love taking our puppy to Camp Bow Wow...and it seems like everyone there loves having her! I love Camp Bow Wow Bridgewater and so does my dog Petey! Petey can't wait to get in there and play when I drop him off. He enjoys the daycare as well as staying overnight when I travel. He really loves playing all day as well as the staff, especially Bret! Whenever I watch him on the Camper Cams, he is playing but never far from Bret's side. Petey is full of energy but since he has been going to Camp Bow Wow, he is much more calm and well behaved at home. We have also used their Behavior Buddies in-home training and it was great. The trainer is very professional, showed up on time and really took the time to work on specific issues with Petey as well as train me! It is great to know there is a place to bring your dog and know that they will be treated just as you treat them at home. read more

I was very hesitant to send my labrador anywhere after visiting several boarding/daycare locations within 20 miles of my home. But I decided to give Camp Bow Wow a try when he turned 6 months old - mostly because I could watch him on the Doggie Cam. My dog loves Camp Bow Wow. He gets so excited when we pull in the driveway. The staff is wonderful - greeting him by name when he arrives. (He only goes 3 times a week). The best part is - he is so tired when he comes home - so the evenings are very relaxing! The cost is very low - less than a dog walker who will exercise your dog for 20 minutes versus 1/2 or full day at Camp! And the interaction with other dogs is the best part! Duncan has been going to Camp Bow Wow for just about a year and we couldn't be happier. It is so fun (and yet incredibly distracting!) to watch him on the Camper Cam while he's at camp having fun and we love picking up a tired dog at the end of the day! The Staff and Owners of CBW are knowledgeable, friendly and obviously love their jobs. Duncan is always greeted by name when he is dropped off, and it's such a great feeling to know that he is being taken such great care of while we are working. We have also used the Behavior Buddies program, for both in-home training, as well as group classes at CBW and we were very pleased with both the instructor and the small class size. I've been bringing my dog for training. My dog is not good socializing with other dogs. Alicia was the only trainer I could find that would work with her on this issue. My dog , Jessie, and I have been going for a few months. I have seen so much improvement in my dog since we started. She is much more comfortable around other dogs and I am much more comfortable with her being around other dogs. I have been so impressed with the trainer, Alicia, I have started obedience classes for Jessie too. If you are having any issues with your dog or just need obedience training you can't go wrong with Camp Bow Wow in Bridgewater. read more

My bichon, Tobey as been going to Camp Bow Wow since last year. I go to Maine twice a year and Tobey spends a week at the camp. I like that they keep the dogs separated by size and age. Of course Tobey always looks forward to coming home after a week away. My grand daughter loves that she can spot him on the camera. I really haven't compared prices on other places to board, and a week for Tobey costs more than my vacation to Maine, but he trusts his friends and I do know the Mom of one of the counselors. This is only camp I have ever been. Searched online by the review I was new around here also new to have puppy. They showed me their facility and system and I liked it.(recently updated better camera too)Clean and mostly like about is same staff for 4years since I bring my Pepper here. He loves play here. I like Lisa's grooming here also Randy called me and take him to his Vet when he wasn't feeling well on his boarding. I was away couldn't get to him but felt reliable. Ever since I use boarding Pepper when ever I have to travel. Highly recommend! read more

Camp Bow Wow is the best! Everyone is so friendly there and take good care of Sadie. Camp Bow Wow in Bridgewater is very clean and extremely organized. It's so nice to go to work and not have to worry about your doggy being left alone all day in a pen or crate and to know they are having fun with their friends. I had my dog Mercedes there for 3 months almost while I was in the hospital,recovery from a car accident and they took very good care of her.The staff and employees are the best,and I still keep in touch with them up to today.My hat off to everybody at Camp Bow wow,and may they have much success in the future.If you need a place for your dog to be watched during the day,week or for summer vacation its definley feels like home and its the perfect place for them.....I love Camp Bow Wow!!!!!!! read more

We absolutely LOVE Camp Bow Wow, Bridgewater! My Labrador Retriever puppy adores going to see and play with his doggy and staff friends...he comes home super happy (and tired!) which warms my heart (and cuts down on his mischief making!).
